*Jayden*
"I fucking hate you." I chuckled when Trent hissed that at Corey.
"Yeah? Well, fuck you! Izzy... Can I have a glass of water?" I smiled watching Corey.
It was almost one in the afternoon and both of them had not gotten out of bed. Probably the first time Trent has ever drunk too much – come to think of it, I've never seen him drink at all. I guess Corey's very influential.
I saw Izabella roll her eyes when Corey looked at her pleadingly.
"No! You've wasted poor Trent. You're such a bad influence." She said crossing her arms. I laughed as she glared at Corey when he flipped her off.
"Jay?" He smiled but then stopped.
"What happened to your face?" He asked. I lifted my hand expecting to find my cut lip but it was smooth. Even the scar on my neck was gone thanks to Izabella and some of her blood... Luckily Sean didn't notice it last night so she healed and he never saw it.
"Healed." I shrugged.
"Healed?" Kaden narrowed his eyes at me.
"You know, I'll get that water for you –" I attempted to get up but Kaden caught my arm.
"Healed?" He repeated.
I sighed. "Izabella," I said quickly, I waited for Sean to go crazy but he smiled, I felt as shocked as Izabella looked.
"You... You don't look very angry..." Izabella said slowly.
"Yeah? I knew you were bound to do it sometime and I couldn't tell you not to, I mean, you don't listen to me –" he was saying.
"He's right. You don't listen to anyone." Hayley inserted. Izabella smiled.
"Besides, Jay didn't force you to and you're not hurt. As far as I'm concerned this is actually a good thing, I mean now you're more powerful than most of Inferno, Jay." Sean said.
"Jay? Strong? You drank her blood, didn't you? I told you I'd hurt you if you messed with my girls." Corey mumbled.
Izabella rolled her eyes. "Go to sleep, Corey." She said.
"Fine." He mumbled.
I chuckled. He was so strong and yet around Izabella and Hayley he was like a trained little puppy and so were Sean and Trent.
"I want to get out of here." Trent sat up still looking a little sick but his werewolf cells must have cleaned him up because he was fine, as for Corey, there must have been a huge difference in the amount of alcohol they had drunk because he still looked terrible.
"Me too. How long 'till the car's fixed?" Hayley asked.
"Two days, they pushed it back again." Sean frowned, "I'll just see if I can find someone else... Ian's going to kill me." He muttered.
"No! He's going to mutilate you slowly and make sure you're alive to feel it while he does it," Corey said. I laughed as Sean shoved Trent's pillow over Corey's head.
"Die." He joked.
"Hey! Get away from him!" Izabella said pushing the pillow off of Corey's face and Corey smirked at Sean as Izabella asked him if he was alright while Sean rolled his eyes.
"Let's go." Trent chuckled as he got up.
"Hey, Jay, take care of your mate," Kaden said, I could hear the smirk in his voice.
I turned to him to protest but everyone – except Corey – had instantly left. My wolf growled in my head. Why did I always have to do Corey duty?! I opened my mouth to say something to him but I stopped when my eyes fell on him. He was fast asleep. I smiled. Less work for me! Now, if he could just stay asleep until they came back... Or until the car was fixed, that would be great.

I looked up from my notepad when I heard frying. He was up? Why hadn't I heard anything? I listened to the cluttering in the kitchen before glancing at the clock. It was almost eleven at night, I was willing to bet the others were going to stay out later.
"Uh... Jay?" I turned around, surprised. Corey stood at the door, once again only in his track pants, his hair a mess. I fought to pull my eyes from his abs. He looked amazing and did not seem to like wearing t-shirts indoors. "I'm making food, you want some?" The question made me realise I was actually hungry. I had been too lazy to make my own food.
"Uhm... Yes, please." I said.
"Alright. How 'bout you find a movie somewhere while I'm at it?" He asked.
"Sure." I smiled. I didn't know why he was being so nice, but I was happy about it.
"Cool." He gave a crooked smile before walking out.
My smile grew as I got up but it fell when I found no movies anywhere, there wasn't anything worth watching on TV either. I frowned walking up to everyone's rooms hoping I would find anything entertaining. I found a box in Hayley's dresser. It looked like an old board game so I just took it and went back to the living room.
"What's that?" Corey was seated on the carpet, some pillows surrounding him, he was still without shoes or a shirt, but he had a plate of food in his hands and one on the coffee table beside him.
"Beats me, found it in Hayley's room." I shrugged as I fell back onto the carpet where I had been seated before.
"And you don't know where it came from? Looks old." He put his food down and grabbed the box. I frowned at how he didn't just ask for it politely before he snatched it from me.
I took my plate from the table while watching him open the box.
"It's a trivia game for 'getting to know friends and family'." He chuckled.
"What?" I asked confused taking a bite of the food before my brows rose at how well he could cook. Corey could cook? How...? Not to mention that it was a lot better than my cooking, which usually ranged from toast to microwavable instant noodles.
"Let's play." He threw the box between us. I turned to him a little annoyed.
"Why? It looks like..." I drifted off. The box was a faded brown, you could barely see the pictures on the front.
"Don't judge a book by its cover," He smiled.
"It's not a book, is it?" I frowned. He chuckled.
"Whatever," He opened the box before reading the instructions and then looking at me, "Roll the dice, take a card from one of the boxes, ask a question based on the card. If the person doesn't want to answer, they get punched in the face." He said.
I narrowed my eyes, "It did not say that, Corey."
"Yeah. You're no fun," he rolled his eyes, "It said if you don't answer you have to do a dare and cannot back out no matter what it is." He said.
"Fine." I was bored.
He smiled grabbing the dice and throwing it before he grabbed a card from the third box marked 'Entertainment'.
"Favourite action movie?" He asked frowning.
"Are you serious?" I asked.
"Do you have anything better to do?" He raised his brows before he ate.

"No," I rolled my eyes, "X-Men." I ate some food before grabbing the dice to roll it.
I picked a card from a little box that read 'about me'.
"What's your favourite colour?" I read thinking it was a little cliché before looking up at him.
He frowned as he thought about it. "Green... Very light green." He said.
"Green?" I asked a little surprised. He didn't look like the 'very light green' type of guy... More black or red... Blood red.
"Yeah," he rolled the dice before he drew a card, "What is something you've wanted to do but have been too terrified to do?" He asked.
"Bungee jumping," I said.
"Bungee jumping? Why? You're a fricking werewolf!" He asked, "You'll still live if the rope snaps." He said.
"After an excruciating amount of pain and a year or three in the hospital given my healing abilities," I said. He chuckled.
"True. I get it now." He said, "It's pretty amazing though, you should try it."
"Not while I have bones that can break," he laughed at my response as I threw the dice, I drew a card from the 'about me' box again – which is probably where he got the question he had asked me as well – and read it, "What is one thing you can't live without?" I asked.
"Water." I frowned at him, "Fine," he skewed his face, "My car." He smiled. I chuckled. I could have guessed that.
He threw the dice before pulling a card from one of the boxes, I wasn't paying attention to which one as I was too busy eating. "Tell me about your family." I looked at him.
"That's not a question." I said before adding, "Let me see the card."
He turned the card around and it indeed had the word 'family' written on it. Goddamnit. "It doesn't have to be a question." He said before smirking, "I take it you're going to pass?" He said.
"No." Hell no. I didn't want to have to do something he dared me to do, I had no doubt I would get hurt and he was probably thinking about the bungee jumping thing I had just mentioned – making me use a rope he would just make out of tying sheets together or something.
He glared at me crossing his arms like a child, "You suck. Now talk." He mumbled.
I laughed at how childish he was being. "Well... I was born to two people, and one of them wasn't too happy to have me." I said.
"Your father?" He asked. I nodded.
"I'm an only child."
"What else?" He asked.
"Joe's pretty much been like a father to me since I was ten," I said.
"How did it start?" He asked.
"That's three questions," I said.
"Amazing observation," he said sarcastically, "Now, how did it start...? Did he just... hit you?" He asked. I bit the inside of my cheek as I sighed.
"I don't remember. He just never liked me at all... I mean, he would leave for work, come back and then yell at me for no reason, I tried to do everything perfectly so he would be happy with me but... there was always something I didn't do right..." I drifted as I played over the memories in my mind, "And sometimes I would try to speak and he would hit me, my mother was never okay with that, but if she tried to say something he would hurt her too, and I couldn't do anything about it... He hated that I wasn't very strong... and it just kind of got worse when he realised I wasn't... straight." I clenched my fist and for the first time felt the effects of Izabella's blood. He wouldn't be able to beat me up now.
"Was he the one that cut your neck?" He asked, an edge in his voice.
"No, that was –" I froze with my hand on my neck, I must have unconsciously lifted my hand to brush the scar that wasn't there anymore. "N-no one, no one cut my neck," I said. He snorted and I went on quickly to cut off any more questions he had, "Well, anyway, when I was ten, Joe found out and banned him from the pack, told everyone else he had died. The end." I said. "Your turn." I reached for the cards but they were gone. Corey looked around and I frowned. "Where are the cards?" I asked.
"Gone, I guess." He shrugged.
"Yeah?" I rolled my eyes before I reached for my notepad but I froze when my fingers brushed the carpet, "Where's my book?"
"Mmm... That's gone too, I guess." He said, a hint of a mischievous smile on his face.
"Give it back, Corey. Now." I glared at him. I was freaking out inside, no one read my lyrics. Ever. And sometimes I wrote short diary entries into that notebook.
"Don't tell me what to do." He said.
"Give it back right now, Corey!" I dived at him, he must not have been expecting it because he fell back onto the carpet before I shoved him aside and grabbed my book which he had sat on. "Got i –!" I was cut off by Corey grabbing the book again.
"You were saying?" He smirked. "What's in here? Poems? Is this really a diary? Your deepest secrets –" I shoved him. He fell back and I instantly pinned him to the ground by his shoulders.
"Give it back! Now!" I said. Where the heck had he hide it this time?!
"You're acting like just because you got a little stronger you can beat me?" He raised his eyebrows at me, "Please, Jayden." He chuckled beneath me.
I looked down at him. "You are currently not in a position to try to intimidate me," I said. I cried out in surprise when his hands pushed my wrist and I fell ontop of him. In that second I realised how close I was to him and realised how close his face was to mine... His lips to mine... and that he didn't have a problem with it, or just didn't notice it, but how could he not notice my chest pressed against of his? It must have been the after-effects of the alcohol making him less alert, but I was sure I wouldn't be able to control myself much longer and he was going to be absolutely pissed.
"Your grip is pretty shitty." He smirked up at me. Just one... and maybe he wouldn't mind... it had felt so amazing last time. Before the rational part of me could argue I pushed my lips to his.
He seemed stunned frozen, but my lips were tingling against his and it felt like my entire body was on fire, not in a bad way. It felt like a sudden rush of heat went through every part of my body.
My moment of perfect madness only lasted a few seconds before he shoved me back. I instantly got up ready to run as he jumped to his feet.
"What the fuck was that?!" He shouted at me.
"I-I –" I stuttered but was cut off by his hands grabbing the collar of my shirt and pulling me to him. My heart was pounding because of both fear and adrenaline from my random kiss, I never would have imagined I had the guts to do that. "I-I didn't mean - It just –" I froze when his lips crushed against mine cutting me off.
I was completely shocked, but the adrenaline only grew as the fear disappeared when his hands let my collar go and slid onto my neck gently, tingles trailing where he touched me. His skin felt hot against mine. I didn't move. It was weird but amazing. This kiss was much slower, gentler than the last one we had when he had kissed me in the hallway and part of me wanted to believe it was because he liked me now. Was this actually happening? Or had I fallen asleep on the carpet and was just dreaming?
My thoughts were cut off by him biting my lip softly and it sent shivers down my spine. I decided to stop thinking and just let it happen. Even if it was a dream, I wasn't going to ruin it with my thoughts. I shut my eyes as I kissed him back and enjoyed the moment as he pulled me against him.

Re: Dragonize
After an unexpected turn of events, Drew must now survive in a world full of challenges with life-or-death stakes. Gone are the days when the biggest problems to face were awkward small-talk at physics department luncheons or mountains of lab work; this former physicist is now adrift in an unfamiliar land without any equipment. Now, Drew's only tool (if it can be called that) is a System, which provides constant reminders of all of the things that are still out of reach for a low-level being who's just arrived in a new world. Luckily, Drew has one powerful asset when taking on the challenges of this new world: surviving violent conflict is a lot easier when you have the power of a dragon at your disposal. Still, Drew has always considered violence a last resort. Why turn to fists (or claws) when a bit of quiet consideration might expose a better path forward? Maybe a life of quiet contemplation is still within reach for this former academic researcher. ...Or maybe not. It probably won't be a life of bloodless pacifism. Additional information for those who wish to calibrate their expectations (I'm adding this based on a few comments I received from readers who feel that the story is not what they expected from a dragon-themed story): Re: Dragonize is not a power fantasy -- or at least, it's not intended to be one. Re: Dragonize is a progression fantasy starting with a protagonist who must start at the bottom (or close to it), and work gradually upwards, making incremental progress with plenty of setbacks along the way. The protagonist, as someone coming from the world of academia, tends to be cautious, methodical, and contemplative. As such, expect this story to contain more than a few digressions as the main character takes the time to pontificate on a variety of topics ranging from Newtonian physics and horology to the nature of existence and the ethical dilemmas associated with being an obligate carnivore.

Looping, oh the fun! (Naruto)
Naruto and Sasuke are looping, and they're bored. They've already destroyed Konoha 15 times, taken over the world 15 times, gathered a harem 20 times and failed each time, joined ANBU 78 times, created their own villages over 30 times... What should they do now?For those of you who don't know what looping is, basically, it's time traveling done over and over and over again. Sometimes, it can also be dimension jumping (which appeared in my story). Something always triggers looping. Most of the time the trigger is death. If a character dies, he will wake up back in time. Do things, die again, and wake up back in the same time again. Or in some circumstances, wake up and find oneself in another dimension. See "Naruto Omake Files Innortal Style" for reference. Recommend Chapter 7 New Intros.
