Amidst the lecture of Ms.Kim, Soojin tried to get Hyewon's attention- to which she successfully had done so.
"What is it?" Hyewon raised her eyebrows as she leaned into the girl a seat away from her. Soojin questions vaguely.
Hyewon was clueless of what bewildered Soojin so much that she would rather talk about it in Mrs.Kim's lecture than after class.
Soojin said as if it was such a big deal. Hyewon cooed.
Soojin joked to which Hyewon laughed at.
Soojin stated.
Hyewon queried, finding it very unbelievable how much people seem to care about this particular Sunghoon so much.
Hyewon wasn't stupid, she was so sure that her classmates have been gossiping about her and the interaction earlier. What was there to even gossip about?
Soojin winks but Hyewon pouts at the offer.
Hyewon playfully rolled her eyes.
Soojin giggled before nodding her head and finally listening to Mrs.Kim. Hyewon, on the other hand, watched the clock tick carefully.
She was ecstatic to meet Jake again, and it would only take her 30 more minutes until she did so.
─
A while had already passed, and Mrs.Kim finally dismissed everyone for lunch break. Hyewon didn't hesitate and quickly walked out of the classroom, heading towards the cafeteria with hasty steps.
─
Her eyes wandered the whole cafeteria in search of Jake, but too many people crowded the place and the noise wasn't helping her at all.
A voice spoke behind her, causing Hyewon to immediately turn back. Right in front of her, stood Jake with a huge smile.
Jake stated before gently grabbing her hand and taking her somewhere she is yet to know.
Jake smiled as he played with her hand, swaying it back and forth as they continued to walk. Hyewon inquired.

Jake informed. They saw the field in the distance, and they also saw some students quietly hanging out by the bleachers.
They were greeted by faces Hyewon was surely unfamiliar with. Jake introduced while Hyewon awkwardly smiled.
Hyewon greets them as they all settle down. The guy, who is Jake's friend, said with a hint of amusement.
Hyewon leaned her head sideways, clueless of what the new guy was saying. Jay extended his hand and Hyewon shook it.
She smiled. Jake paused, frowning while he seemed to look for someone.
Jake asked Jay, who is just right beside him. Jay told which Jake nodded.
Hyewon, on the other hand, was too preoccupied watching Hara and Changsun giggle at each other, they were whispering something to each other's ear.
Suddenly, Jay was sitting beside Hyewon, which flustered the poor girl.
Seriously, is it just handsome guys' hobby to suddenly pop out of nowhere? She thought. silence erupted as Hyewon only nodded at Jay. She pretended to be minding her own business as she looked around the school ground, there was a lot to see in the enormous area anyway.
Jay talked again. He took a sip of his cola before looking at hyewon. On the other hand, hyewon was surprised. How did he even know about that?
Jay shared. Meanwhile, Hyewon was speechless, what she was just trying to process is that Sunghoon, the whining little shithead and Jake, the literal angel and an epitome of the best kind handsome gentleman... are very close friends.
Jay raised an eyebrow. He then offered his phone to hyewon, who only flattened her lips and shook her head.
Hyewon shrugged as her eyes looked from afar.
she apologised. Hyewon held a peace sign briefly and smiled.
Jay won't lie, he was taken aback by Hyewon's action. Her response was so far from the answer he was expecting. He thought that Hyewon would be more than intrigued to see what Sunghoon thought of her.
Nonetheless, Jay initially thought that the whole name-calling Hyewon did to his friend was just an act to get his attention.
But maybe he concluded Hyewon's personality too quickly. She isn't interested in what girls see in Sunghoon, him, or the others.
Jay smiled widely; An occurrence very rare to see.

Outlook: The Stars (Consciousness Unbound Book 1)
The year is 2152. Rune Yahui is a nineteen-year-old failure, not having gained entrance to college or the military, with no significant prospects in life. Even worse, Rune is the poorest of the poor, hailing from the mega-slums of New Southern Chicago, the lowest pit of America. In a desperate last-ditch attempt to gain a future more lustrous than toiling the rest of his days away in abhorrent conditions in one of the near sweat-shop level factories that dot the megapolis, Rune signs up for the Virtual Citizen program, a program to cull the excessive world population by transferring just their brains into a video game. In a stroke of rare luck, Rune is admitted into the program and happily submits himself to the surgery and digitization process. Unfortunately for him, he wakes up several hundred years later than he expected... or does he? **Author's Note** This isn't a type of story typical to RRL. You may have noticed LitRPG in the tags, but it's a relatively minor element in the story until later. You may also notice Slice of Life is in the tags. This story is going to be slow and there won't be any power tripping until way later if at all. The focus will be on character development. That doesn't mean I won't still have action/excitement, however. I encourage you to give the story a try. Maybe it will be your thing, maybe it won't. Thanks for even taking the time to read this, and if you do give my fiction a try, I hope you enjoy it. If you don't, well, I hope you find something that you do enjoy. Happy reading!

Oublivant
Oublivants: a category of dungeons characterised by the antithesis of life, necrosis. "Dungons as a whole tend towards the lethal side when it comes to exploring them; however, an oublivant actively seeks out destruction on a grand scale. No greater example of their deep hatred for life exists than the very first discovery of an oublivant. It was a massive dungeon spanning miles in all directions. It continuously expanded along the surface, so fast you could see it, and left nothing but a scorched, withered wasteland in its wake. Wherever the oublivant resides, nothing but the undead exist, as all living life has been eradicated. Why it is, exactly, the oublivant seem so against life so as to break the passive rule dungeons have is unknown. What is known, however, is that they're a threat that, upon discovery, is to be immediately eliminated." - Archomagus Addiom Onero, Court of VascilNote: This is my first story on royal road. It'd be nice if you were nice... nicely.

Akatsuki (Magi Ja'far X Fem Reader)
The dark waves lapped gently against the sides of the ships bobbing gently in the waters of the Sindria harbor. The lights of the lively parties that the kingdom so often held had finally died. The peaceful darkness of the night had finally settled over the island. Finally, for just a few hours before sunrise, Sindria was asleep.
