Karn bows to Suryadev and is soon flocked by a group of 10-15 people who have come in hopes of getting alms in form of coins , food , clothes , medicine and help. & Karn being Karn helps them all politely. Until...

Man: O' son of Radha , Thank you for helping me in my tough times. I am here to ask u for some help in form of coins... U know my financial and family's condition is not so well...

Karn smiles , nods and gestures the other man to speak...

Man2: The benevolent Adhirathi , I am so sorry to bother you again but my workers are ill and there's a lot of stuff to get readied ... So I ask ur help in carving out the designs for the furniture...

Karn again smiles & nods his head...

Karn: (smiling) Do I appear like a fool to u?

The sudden question catches both the men off-guard.

Karn: What do you two think? In pretense of alms u can make me do anything huh?? Lies lies and lies....

( To Man1) U have a modest income but not enough for ur gambling . Previous week u have lost ur wife's jewellery too & these coins that I give u will directly go to the gambling spot and not to help ur family.

And U (Man2) , through my alms are getting unpaid labour but that's not the concern. The problem is u have fired ur workers in greed, as I'm helping you...

Soon enough, the water of Ganga fountained up and took the figure of a divine woman..

Devi Ganga: Interesting... The man who is munificient enough to give his life when asked as alm has returned people empty handed...

Karn: Mata Ganga , ( bows to her) .... Mata , if the charity , I started for helping out the needy , establishing dharm & releasing myself from sins and anxiousness becomes the cause of adharm , then my charity is a waste.

By helping out these two , I would have unconsciously fuelled their greed and sent them on the path of degradation which is adharm.

The basis of charity is universal, societal , and individual welfare.. if any alm hampers or obstructs any of these 3 then , the charity is superfluous.

& Mata, I haven't returned them empty handed ... I have given them a chance of redemption... I hope they use it or else...

Devi Ganga: (smilingly) Hmm...atlast u got some brain. Bdw out of nowhere this sudden enlightenment?? How?? Or should I say ...who???

Karn: The location is selected by Suryadev & his queens , Vishwakarma ji has planned the all the systems necessary .... I and Ananya are working on the layout , decor and design of the palace , entire Kingdom...in a week we would finalise it.

& I'm not the only one who's gonna reside there, Mata . I have to ensure everything to be perfect for my Guru's , celestial family and to be subjects... We have ensured availability of goods , trading ports , places for agriculture, water , mineral and forest resources ...... checked all the places ,plans , layout, materials, everything .... After Ganesh sthapna & Bhumi pujan we will start it's construction...

Devi Ganga: Hm!! I'm thankful that Ananya's there ...With her by ur side , and Dev Vishwakarma's grace ; no doubt ..U would have The most beautiful Kingdom ever in history & coming times....

Karn: Hmm!! Okay I need to go .... Maa & Pitashree must be waiting for me at breakfast.... Bless me, Mata!!

Two months have passed & that too in complete bliss. No chaos , no stress .. only peace...except for some minor interference like knocking sense into some fools and punishing some...... Well my identity as Shaiva is quite demanding , but nothing I can't deal with.

The memories of the day I first met Ananya are still fresh in my mind .That evening after dropping her , I did my Suryapuja & in return got teased by Mata Ganga. Seriously she had given me a headache asking about Ananya. But somehow I managed and returned to the forest to enquire the attackers but got no valuable information. Adding to my worries and was their "we don't know anything" dialogue . I swear their dialogue gave me headache of higher intensity than Ganga Maa's teasings. I was confused about how she was poisoned... because I was there with her the entire day....

Catching the culprit wasn't very tough but slightly tricky. For how long could he be saved? Within 15 days, I traced him to be one of the minister from the old regimen holding a grudge against Ananya & Devi Amba.

This is true in case of Devi Amba and Ananya. But they have loyal people too .... Like Vallabhraj ji & his family, Senapati ji , Agriculture & education ministers... And even many loyal soldiers....

Ananya & Devi Amba both know how to generate respect & loyalty from people.... & in certain cases command it. But there's certain shortcomings to both of them especially Ananya... Anger , Stubbornness & the need to be always right & in control. Strange, but these qualities make her more enigmatic.... alluring.

On political grounds, everything is fine And on personal level , all's so peaceful, satisfying and perfect. I had the best birthdays ...Radha maa and Baba pamper me like anything. Radha maa feeds me often and makes me rest in her lap. Baba do my head massage in morning & narrate informative stories having deep moral meanings. I know it's childish but I love it . After dinner we three sit together and share about our day under the starry sky....

Mahadev and Mata Shakti too visited me on one of my birthdays. Although I had already said a yes for a kingdom but wasn't completely convinced about it. It was them who convinced me. It was after then , the preparation for the Kingdom started.

I met Mata Dharini and Bhagwan Parshuram too....We had an emotional reunion and caught up to each other's life.... It was this time when I got to know, the truth of Ananya. Honestly , I was shocked because time travel although is mentioned in puranas, is still doubtful and dangerous. It took me quite sometime to digest this information. But this only increased the respect I had for her. Being from completely different era , managing everything so perfectly isn't something everyone can do.

When I think back to the day , Bhagwan Parshuram revealed her about my to be Kingdom , I thought she would be angry , suspicious and what-not. And honestly it was her right to be angry because in over 20 days time we had formed a bond...A bond that makes me feel as if I know her from eons . But she reacted completely opposite to it. She smiled and asked if she could be of any help & from their it began..... The planning of the Kingdom by us....

Occupied my thoughts I didn't realise when I reached my home only to see one of the regular episodes of Radha maa and Baba's nok-jhok. I fake cough to get their attention.... & Both of them give me "What now" look!!

Karn: I'm gonna change and leave for palace ... So I would be glad if I get some breakfast ... Otherwise I could always ask Devi Amba & Ananya... No issues. 😅

Radha: Acha!!!! & What about the food I have cooked?? & My dear why do you think I will let u leave empty stomach to work & that too for him?? (pointing at Adhirath)

Adhirath: Meeeee???😲 Because of Me ??? U can't be serious... Karn , my son look at me ... See how innocent I'm ...so naive .. look at my face... Do u think I fight with with ur mother?? When did I become so daring?.....

Radha: U say as if I...

Karn: Okay!!! Relax both of u ... Baba aren't we getting late for work?? And Maa please serve the food fast.... I'm starving

Radha: Yes...my baby !! (Petting Karn's cheeks)

Just after Radha maa goes into kitchen .. Baba give me a look that says "she started it" . And I gestured him to forget it. Sometimes I feel like I am parenting them .... I quickly change into a sober orange dhoti , angravastra & get ready. Radha maa , by this time , has already served the breakfast. Me, Baba quickly take our seats and Radha maa too joins us. Unlike other houses where women eat after men, we three like to have our food together, sharing our plans and feelings for the day. We pray and then begin savouring it.

Soon I'm off to work and Baba linger behind to get a sweet bye from Maa. If anyone saw them now , they won't believe these two to be bantering in the morning. Sometimes , Maa Baba remind me of Mahadev and Mata Shakti... They too would one moment bicker with each other and the other moment be all lovey-dovey. I guess the one who said love to be the most complicated emotion didn't lie.

After a long time I am feeling so light and happy. Even within the chaos of politics and mind ... everything has fallen into place. No doubt that with my daughter by my side , I have been managing Kashi very smoothly but since Karn has arrived , there's a different relief. Although he has changed alot from the 6 year old I had met , but still has the same innocence , caring and loving nature.

In the past months , I had seen Ananya running here & there , managing and overlooking everything; even though we have the best council of ministers and Kashi by far is the most progressive province. But my daughter is a perfectionist. She likes keeping a close eye on everything. Trust is not something that you can easily get from her. Adding to this is the fact that there's no place for mistakes in her life.

If there's a problem , she will move heaven and hell to get it's solution & till the time she hasn't got it , god brace you from her. & By solution I mean a permanent one...

Oh!!What does she say ... Hnn..

She and her thoughts are out of these world's... & That's dangerous for her. She doesn't realise but her forward thinking might land her in great troubles. No , I'm not against it but sometimes I really get worried for her health and safety.

It's a great relief that Karn has taken up the duty of protecting her & having him by her side has effectively reduced Ananya's workload. With him by her side , my daughter wouldn't get a scratch, nor psychologically neither physically & I'm sure of it.

Karn is that support, Ananya always needed. No doubt that me , BP , MD , Matamaha , Suru are always there for her but Karn ...He adds a different charm to her. I had seen an obidient daughter, quick learner, loving sister, responsible queen , fierce warrior , great scholar , smart politician in her & guess what Karn is equal to or better than her in each of these, which sometimes results in arguments. Ananya and Karn are always calm and composed but when facing each other , they have a different level of ferocity that hardly any of us can match. When together they are invincible and when facing other , still both are indomitable.

Viewing Kashi from the palace windows , gives me a sense of pride and serenity. Pride that I am managing this state , the one that once disowned me. And serenity of finally having people who care for me.

My father never cared. The dasis were doing their duty by raising me. My sister's... the queen's of Hastinapur.... had tried their best to keep relations with me through the letters but with time we lost contact. They got busy in their lives and I handling mine. Forget it. There's pain in remembering what one has lost . I have Vallabhraj ji and his family who treat me as their own , I have MD , BP , Matamaha , and most importantly Ananya and Karn too & I'm gonna cherish them.

Another look at Kashi , fills me with determination .... I had lost everything but now, that I have all I wished for , I am never letting anyone/ anything snatch this from me.....

On my way through the private gardens, I hear laughter and find its source to be the 4 musketeers of Kashi ... Karn , Ananya , Suru & Dhara sitting in the porch designed by Ananya; helping each other and cracking jokes. Ananya is busy doing something in her "yantra" & Karn is keenly looking at her and may be answering her questions. The other two musketeers are busy writing down something...

The porch looks beautiful... & So are many other structures in Kashi. All of them are budget friendly & doesn't require exotic materials. They are simple & classy. These structures are mostly what I see in her "yantras". And assuming that she and Karn are busy on it ...they must be planning his Kingdom with the help of it. Now , I doubt if Kashi will be the most beautiful state anymore.... I'm actually excited & happy about Karn's Kingdom. Hope it emerges just as both of them thought.

Dasi: O' Princess & Radheya .. Prime minister Vallabhraj ji has requested your presence in the court immediately...

Y have Vallabhraj ji asked for her in such a hurry? Generally , he discusses problems first with me & then with Ananya.. what happened now? & That too in court? & I haven't been informed, y?? Is it something related to the construction of new dam? Hmm!! I need to check....

The throne room of Kashi is unusually cold and silent. Silence that is signifying the upcoming storm. I know I should first inform this to the queen but something tells me , that won't end well.

I haven't known him much since he left soon after Adhirath and his family took shelter in Kashi,after the fiasco in Hastinapur, but I know he is a great warrior , politician and above all a great human.
