While living in Carmel and working in an art gallery one summer, I met a young woman named Jessica.

I had heard from many people in the art world that she was something of a phenomenon. Several people, including her sister, told me she was amazing at doing "psychic readings" with people-totally for free.

Many had actually become financially blessed by following her advice and what she saw as hidden and valuable potentials. I managed to sit down with Jesse one rainy night after work over some wine, and I must say, I was never so impressed by what she told me about my past.

Practically every detail she expressed about my former years was true. But the real 'paranormal' element to all this didn't come then so much as it has today, when I have found almost everything she predicted about my future has either already happened or is happening constantly.

From that experience, I tend to draw the borders between 'normal' and 'paranormal' very lightly.
