Jungkook got thrown (lightly) onto the bed, and Taehyung slammed his hands onto the bed on either side of his body, eyeing him down.

Jungkook's breath was hitched, watching Taehyung's darkened silver eyes.

"Want me to fuck you, baby?"

"P-please-" Jungkook whispered, words barely leaving his lips, bringing his head up from the bed to kiss Taehyung, eager.

They pressed their lips together, strewn silver and red hair getting entangled as Jungkook cupped Taehyung's cheeks and Taehyung gripped Jungkook's waist. Taehyung pushed forward, so lying atop of him on the bed.

Jungkook felt Taehyung grab his ass, and hummed into the kiss, rocking his hips up. Jungkook lingered his lips against Taehyung and then pulled away to whimper lightly. "Fuck me~"

"No."

Jungkook opened his eyes. "No?"

"I didn't say that," Taehyung said in a small voice, and Jungkook looked confused, and then they both turned their heads to the side and screamed!

It was a hologram of Namjoon.

"W-what the fuck! Why're you fucking watching us?!" Jungkook shouted, and Taehyung pulled away in an instant, both having their eyes widened.

"I'm not!" Namjoon reassured, bringing his hands out. "But I was monitoring the cameras-"

"So you WERE watching us have sex!" Jungkook shouted, and Namjoon groaned.

"No, Jungkook. You two can't have sex right now."

"Why not?" Taehyung mumbled angrily, and Namjoon clapped his hands together.

"Because the cameras are recording everything and it's clearly transmitting it to someplace! We can't have sex. None of us." Namjoon said.

"As if any one of you losers except us are having sex anyway," Jungkook grumbled and then got up from the bed in a huff, walking out the room and leaving Taehyung there.

The hologram disappeared, and Taehyung sighed, rolling his eyes. He got up and walked out of the room, following Jungkook. "Cherry.."

"Shut it cutlery. I was pissed off and the only way to resolve that was some good tier butt-fucking, but of course, that had to get trampled over, right?" Jungkook scoffed, and Taehyung kept his mouth shut, looking to the side.

"All week everyone on this damn ship have been absolute assholes to me! And listen, I-I'm a nice guy, but there's only so much I can take! I get it, I'm dumb. I don't have an IQ of 100 or whatever like the rest of you guys-"

"That's actually quite low," Taehyung mumbled, and Jungkook groaned, bunching his hands into fists beside him.

"Taehyung!" Jungkook snapped, and Taehyung shut up. "Listen to me! I'm just- I-I'm really confused, okay? There's just too- too much going on right now, and- and none of it makes sense! Nothing makes sense, Taehyung!" Jungkook cried.

"Baby-" Taehyung tried, reaching his hand out, but Jungkook moved back from him.

"Why do you keep hurting me? W-why do I feel so weird around you? Why- why do I feel sick? What are all of you hiding from me? What is- w-what is happening, Tae?" Jungkook said the last part in a weak, timid voice, one that made Taehyung's eyes grow big.

"No no- don't think that way, Jungkook. Come here, I'll- I'll explain everything. I'll explain it-" Taehyung stammered, reaching out to Jungkook and grabbed him ever so softly.

Jungkook quietened down, and Taehyung leads him back into the bedroom, walking him inside and sitting him down on the bed. Taehyung sat down beside him and then sighed.

"Kookie? I'll explain everything, okay? Don't look upset," Taehyung said softly, seeing the younger looking down, hands on his knees.

"I-I'm not upset. I'm just... confused." Jungkook said, bringing his head up. "I-It's too much thinking."

"I know," Taehyung said softly, and then got up to grab an idle chair in the corner and drag it to Jungkook, sitting down in front of him. "I'll tell you everything, but- I-I need you to not get scared, okay?"

Jungkook nodded, looking scared already. Taehyung grabbed his hands. "You have to know this before. The- the only reason I didn't tell you before was that I was scared. I didn't wanna lose you... and I might after this."

Jungkook gulped. This is serious, huh? He thought, seeing the grave look on Taehyung's face. Whatever would come out of Taehyung's mouth could change everything. Jungkook was scared, but this was needed.

Taehyung looked up. Jungkook's breath hitched. Taehyung opened his mouth to speak. "My cum can look into souls."

Jungkook paused. He was not expecting that.

He took a long pause to take in what Taehyung just said, and then closed his eyes. "Your... what?"

"When you swallowed my cum and said it tasted like white chocolate- I freaked out. Remember? And then I pushed you out of my room and that whole big fight between us started?"

"Y-yes.."

"Well, it's because... in Junos, when your fluid tastes of a certain flavor, it usually means something. As in, if my mother were to ever taste my blood, it'd taste like whiskey to her, because I'm her son."

"Why the fuck would your mom taste your blood?"

"Hypothetically! Relationships are defined by the attraction of the souls. Jupiter's main belief as a planet is that every living object or being has a soul. And every two individuals' souls have a bond. If the bond is of friends, strangers, soulmates, or.. something worse."

Jungkook blinked. Taehyung looked at him with a little confusion, and then saw Jungkook's eyes water. "I-I don't get it."

"Oh- Kook- why-why are you crying?" Taehyung asked, and Jungkook looked down, taking in a deep breath.

"Be-because I don't get it!"

"Don't worry, I'll explain it better," Taehyung said, and then sighed. "A person creates fluids." He said, and Jungkook nodded. "Another person can taste those fluids and known what kind of relationship they have with that person."

"S-so t-the fluids can tell the future?" Jungkook asked, and Taehyung sighed. "K-Kind of. Souls are.. inclined with destiny. And every person's destiny is written out, or so Jupiter believes."

"W-what happened when your cum tasted like white chocolate to me?" Jungkook asked in a small voice, and Taehyung bit his lip.

"Well, that's the thing. It's, 100% of the time, only supposed to taste like one flavor. But you said white chocolate once. The other time- when we were fucking- you said dark chocolate."

"What does that mean?"

"The white chocolate means... Kook, don't get scared." Taehyung reminded, and Jungkook nodded, curiously leaning in. "The white chocolate taste means I'll.. be the reason you die."

Jungkook froze. He looked at Taehyung for a few seconds. His jaw quivered. "Say sike."

"Jungkook-"

"How- h-how can someone's semen predict that? It- it's so fucking random! What?" Jungkook snapped, and then his eyes widened, looking at Taehyung. "Is that why I'm the only one who keeps getting hurt by you? Is that why I've been getting so sick??"

"Jungkook, let me-"

"How could you not tell me this before?" Jungkook cried, standing up now, and Taehyung hesitated. "You don't think me knowing I'm gonna get murdered is something I should know??"

"No no, it's not that Jungkook! I thought- I thought it's like a butterfly effect thing! That- that one day I'll do something small and it'll cause a ripple, and-"

"More reason for me to stay the fuck away from you!" Jungkook snapped, angered, stepping back from Taehyung.

Taehyung sighed to himself. "You can't." He let out.

"Why not?" Jungkook asked, and Taehyung looked away achingly, feeling foolish.

"Because the-the dark chocolate means... i-it means y-you're my soulmate," Taehyung mumbled in a whisper, dropping his head low.

Jungkook looked shocked for a few seconds, looking pale, collecting his own thoughts. Jungkook closed his mouth and looked away for a few seconds, before he snickered, pinching the bride of his nose.

"Soulmates don't exist," Jungkook spoke, and Taehyung looked up. "That's bullshit because soulmates is made up, a bullshit term used by fragile people looking for love," Jungkook spoke lowly, looking at Taehyung.

"I know. I know it's bullshit. But it's something that's been going on in my planet for years, and-"

"Your planet! Your planet. Not mine. I'm not from wherever you are from, that shit doesn't happen where I'm from, Taehyung." Jungkook snapped, and Taehyung looked at him.

"I know that. But it happens between any species, not just one from Jupiter. I'm sorry, I know this is a lot to take in-"

"A lot to take in? A lot to take in?? What the fuck made you think you shouldn't tell me this??" Jungkook shouted, and Taehyung looked at him.

"I knew you'd react badly. And the last thing I wanted to do-"

"The last thing I want to do is know I have a fucking soulmate and that I'm going to die. I won't let that happen, Tae. I won't let you dictate how my life goes. No one but me gets to decide that." Jungkook growled, and Taehyung saw Jungkook walking towards the door.

"It's not that simple, Jungkook! You think I want this? You think I want all this put onto you? I know how you feel about me-"

"No, you don't!" Jungkook flared from the hallways, and Taehyung followed him. "I don't feel anything for you! I don't feel shit," Jungkook spat, and then felt a pain in his gut, like a punch.

Jungkook grabbed his stomach, and then looked at Taehyung. "H-how could you be so careless?"

"I didn't know you were the one, Jungkook. Never, not even for a fraction of a second, did I think you would be my soulmate," Taehyung said in his low voice, and Jungkook felt another pain in his gut.

Jungkook turned around and headed for the control room, where he knew the others were. He slammed the door open and walked in, seeing all the 5 in there.

"Oh hey cherry, we were just-" Jimin started, and Jungkook's eyes flared red.

"You knew! All of you knew whatever was going on with Taehyung and the stupid soulmate-death thing and you didn't tell me! Why the fuck did none of you tell me?!" Jungkook snapped, and Taehyung walked into the control room, clutching his stomach.

"Shut up, Jungkook." Taehyung snapped. "You're getting overtly angry and taking it out on others. Don't make a mistake you already made before. Let's just talk this through on our own-"

"He's right. We didn't tell him." Namjoon said while standing up. "But the only reason we didn't was that we didn't believe it-"

"You didn't believe it when I almost died 4 times? What I thought was my fault, my doing, my mistakes were all his-" Jungkook said, pointing at Taehyung. "-his fault!"

"Jungkook, don't do this," Jin warned, and Jungkook looked at the rest of them, tears forming in his eyes.

"I-I-I wasn't like this!" Jungkook let out. "I was strong, a-and I slept around, and I was respected. A-and being on this ship- this stupid ship- I-I'm not strong anymore! I-I'm not respected!" Jungkook said weakly, looking in the brink of exhaustion like his own words were beating him up. "I-I don't love Taehyung. He's not my soulmate! I-I refuse to believe that he's my-" Jungkook started, and then-

Jungkook fell to the floor on his knees, coughing out. Taehyung stood by the door, frozen. "Th-this stupid space voyage has ruined me, a-and all I can do is sit around and let it happen. I-I'm weak t-to my own stupid fucking d-destiny, a-all because of him!" Jungkook cried, looking at Taehyung, tears in his eyes.

"Jungkook-" Yoongi let out, stepping forward. "Y-you're letting your thoughts consume you. Don't do this. Why would you think we don't respect you? Of course, we do. We always have. We always will-"

Taehyung walked over to Jungkook, fists clenching tightly in anger. Jimin gulped. "Taehyung don't do anything-"

Jungkook watched Taehyung weakly, and saw the silver-haired boy edge closer to him, and then crouch down in front of him. It was only after Jungkook saw the look in his eyes that he realized- Taehyung wasn't there to get mad at him, Taehyung was there to heal him.

"I know you don't like me right now," Taehyung whispered. "And you might not love me, you might never," Taehyung continued, but then brought his hand to Jungkook's cheek. "But I need you to-"

Jungkook slapped his hand away, causing Taehyung's breath to hitch. "I don't need your help. I don't need your pity. I don't need you to look down on me, I'm fine on my own. I always was, and I will be. I don't need you- I-I don't need anybody."

Taehyung gulped. "No one, not even the strongest, can survive on their own."

"I can. Especially without you. B-because you're a liar. You lied to me a-and deceived me, and will probably kill me. So I'm sorry, b-but I'm fine alone." Jungkook gritted his teeth, tears in his hateful eyes.

Taehyung watched with fear, but then Jungkook's eyes rolled back and he fell to the floor with a thump.

Taehyung's eyes widened, but he saw Jin behind him, holding an injection. "Jin-"

"It's fine. It had to be done. He's on a high right now. He's saying things without thinking- this isn't good for his mental state. Plus, his fingers are turning silver." Jin said, and then dropped the injection he injected Jungkook with to the ground. He reached down and picked the red-haired boy up, carrying him into the medical room.

Taehyung stood there for a few seconds, and Jimin walked up to him. "I-I should've told him when I found out."

"It's okay, you-you were scared. We all were. Plus, he didn't mean the things he said-"

"He did, Jimin. This constant weakening, and then me pulling him out of it. It caused him to believe he liked me. He never did. It happens often," Taehyung mumbled, looking down. "When you heal someone.. it does things to their brain. It infuses their mind with chemicals causing them to gain some kind of admiration for you. Jungkook got the same. It's not his fault, he was just saying the truth now."

"Doesn't justify his anger, still," Hoseok said, and Namjoon scoffed.

"Of course it does. If you got told you would get killed, presumably soon, and that a person is your soulmate, then you'd get a little angry too. Jungkook naturally gets angry a lot, so this outburst was expected. I just didn't think it'd be so soon."

"Tae," Yoongi said, and Taehyung looked at him wearily. "Jungkook's going through a lot right now. He thinks we see him as inferior. He's a younger brother of someone who was constantly better than him in his eyes. His parents treated him like shit. It's natural for him to have a slight.. inferiority complex." Yoongi said, and Taehyung nodded.

"I know. I figured since that first fight we had... he kept getting mad at me for being calm. Thinking I was pitying him or something."

"He's a kid, after all. He just turned 18 a few months ago. It's our fault for not realizing he's a little sensitive, and our comments affect him. Us telling Jimin that his ideas are stupid might not affect him as much, he's been through this kinda stuff. But Jungkook's young. We should've been more careful." Yoongi said.

"I think it's best if you leave him alone for a while, Tae," Namjoon said. "And not like the last time we told you to break up with him- where you literally got back with him in a day. I mean stay away from him this time, got it? For his sake,"

"Won't that be worse, Namjoon? Won't that weaken him further?" Hoseok asked. "Taehyung being away from him clearly does something to him. Didn't you see how weak he got simply saying he didn't like Taehyung?"

"Jin can help in that. You two need to be separated for a while. I'm sorry. I know you're hurting too." Namjoon said to Taehyung, who shook his head.

"It's fine," Taehyung said, and then turned to look at the medical room, which had the door shut. "As long as he's okay."

Jimin's breath hitched, while the other three boys nodded, all going back to do work on the control board.

Jimin grabbed Taehyung's arm, pulling him out of the control room and into the hallway. The moment he did, Taehyung broke into tears, and Jimin wrapped his arms around him.

"Don't cry, don't cry. It's okay, he'll come back to you-"

"H-he won't," Taehyung let out. "I-I just want him to be safe, Jimin. I-I'm doing this to him. May-maybe if I never met him.."

"That's not how soulmates work, dummy. Even if you never met him, you'd still be soulmtes." Jimin giggled softly, trying to lighten the mood, and Taehyung sniffed.

"I-I like him so much, Jimin."

"I know. I see the way you look at him. You never get mad at him, even though he does sometimes." Jimin said.

"I-it's so weird. I'm n-not that calm a person. I get really mad at people. I just.. can't with him. I know he has a soft heart. He may say mean things, but he's sensitive on the inside. I know this. I-I can't bear knowing I've hurt him. A-a-and I said some things to him today I shouldn't have.." Taehyung said weakly.

Never, not even for a fraction of a second, did I think you would be my soulmate. Why did Taehyung say that?

Maybe because it was true? Taehyung never, not even in his wildest of dreams, imagine Jungkook being the one. Not even when he got to know him. Not after.

Yet, still, he'd found himself in a predicament. Because it didn't seem right, the two of them. But it was. It was right, it was perfect.

Why couldn't it stay perfect?
