Anzai-sensei has his reasons of how he arranged the game.

"Kakuta switch with me!" Mitsui shouts.

"Member change!"

Mitsui enters the court and stands in front of his team.

"Mitsui is going to play?"

"Didn't they say they gonna go easy on us?"

The first-years said.

Current score 8-12 to first-years.

"What are you guys doing? This game is the game against the first-years!" Mitsui spoke. "Don't you guys know if we lost, we have to do 50 push-ups?"

"People say that our players are too weak, no skills... Don't you guys feel sorry for yourselves?" Mitsui continues to lecture them.

At the side of the court

"Sakuragi is really good." Kakuta spoke while catching his breath. "Sakuragi is really good. Like his power, speed. And the pressure inside the key are all very... Play him once for real and you will understand."

"How did he do this? How can he catch up in just a few months? Maybe he a genius..." Kakuta continues.

Back to the court

"Lemme play the center position." Mitsui said with determination painted on his face. "Let's play!"

"Mit-chin!" Sakuragi called. "Don't you think you can stop a genius like me! But..."

"Game start!"

"Let's go! Defeat the second and third-years!" the first-years yells as they charge with the ball with them.

Their senpais' immediately defend their ring.

"Bring it on! Sakuragi!" Mitsui yells.

Kanagawa Interhigh has come to the final four. Kainan and Ryonan, who most people think would win, both have record of 1-0. On the other hand, because Shohoku's captain Akagi's injury isn't completely healed yet, Shohoku are facing some difficulties. Since there can only be two teams participating, if Shohoku still wants to get the admission to All-Japan Inter-high Games, then in the next two games, they must win both of them. Facing the challenge of the second game, the first thing on Anzai-sensei's mind about a secondary center (Mitsui) that can support Akagi and Sakuragi. Because of the game against Kainan, Anzai-sensei wants to use this game to let Sakuragi regain his confidence, and his current task is to excel as a basketball player. That's why Anzai-sensei arranged this game of first-years against second and third-years. Kainan's coach Takatou, is also thinking about using Miyamasu to mess around.

As the game continues, the scores turned 18-14 to second and third-years. Sakuragi is getting frustrated about the ball not being able to go in every time he shoots.

Sakuragi has the ball, Mitsui is guarding him.

At the side lines

"Even if Sakuragi got the ball, he can't do anything." Akagi spoke. "Mitsui is really good!"

"Sakuragi idea of going past Mitsui to get under the basket isn't wise. He should – " Ayako said.

"If they want to dunk, they will have to pass Mitsui defense but – in other words, before Sakuragi can take the ball, he has nothing to be afraid of. And I can also forget my pains and pass the ball."

As they chat, Y/n is just listening to her senpais while observing the game at court.

At the court

Sakuragi passes the ball but the ball was shoved making an opportunity for second and third-years to attack.

"Fast break!" Mitsui shouts.

Mitsui has the ball, he was about to shoot when Sakuragi lift from the air, Mitsui suddenly passes the ball to Miyagi. Miyagi jumps with the ball in hand, Rukawa follows the suit. Unfortunately, Miyagi passes the ball to Mitsui and he scores. 20-14 to second and third-years.

Sakuragi has the ball, Mitsui is still guarding him.

"Oh no! don't let him get through!" Ayako spoke.

"After Mitsui started playing, Sakuragi hasn't done anything!" Takamiya shouts from the gym door.

"Our region's top-rated center: Hanagata, Takasago can all easily defeat Sakuragi! But Mitsui can use his teammates' power and let Sakuragi have no chance at all." Akagi spoke. "Mitsui! His basketball senses are the best of the best!"

Back to the court

Sakuragi force to go out of Mitsui's defense because of him getting charging foul.

"Dammit! I won't lose! Mit-chi!" Sakuragi said with frustration.

The first-years' has the ball, Rukawa and Sakuragi is in front of Mitsui. The two boys waiting the ball to pass to them.

"You both want this ball? Who should I pass it to?" Kuwata asked.

"Idiot! What can you do even if you get the ball! Out of my way!" Rukawa said.

"What'd you say? Rukawa, I know you want to show off! Get the hell out of the way!" Sakuragi replied.

"You can't go wrong passing it to Rukawa! Kuwata! Pass to Rukawa!"

He did just that, he passes the ball to Rukawa, and he scored making 20-16 to the seniors.

Sakuragi now has the ball with Mitsui guarding him.

"Let's go! Mit-chi!" Sakuragi challenged and shot the ball. The ball passes the headboard and landed in Haruko's hand.

"Beautiful pass! Sakuragi!" Takamiya said and laugh along with his friends.

"It's okay! Don't make fun of him!" Haruko defended Sakuragi. "Don't mind me! Sakuragi!"

Sakuragi is now red with embarrassment.

"What an idiot, always do something you can't do." Mitsui said. "You can only make shots under the basket."

"I won't listen to my enemy!" Sakuragi said with his hands in his ears.

"That kind of missed up shot will only give everyone trouble!" Rukawa blurted out.

"What did you say!?" Sakuragi exclaimed.

"3 minutes left! Work hard everyone! Ayako shouts.

The game ball continues. Sakuragi got called again for charging. Mitsui is giving Sakuragi advice on how he should palay without getting foul-out. Sakuragi being stubborn he is, he ignored Mitsui. With 2 minutes left, Rukawa scores making Sakuragi even more pissed. 1 minute left. The ball did not go in the ring, Sakuragi got the ball, he shoots but did not go in. Rukawa shoved the ball out to his teammate, fast break. The ball pass through the other side of the court. Sakuragi has the ball. Both Sakuragi and Rukawa jump to shoot the ball, fortunately to two, the ball goes in.

Akagi took a deep breath. "So anyways, Sakuragi your next lesson is to learn how to shoot inside the key in the next 3 days. I probably won't be able to sleep in these 3 days."

Y/n manage to hear what her senpai said. "Don't worry Akagi-senpai, I'll help you. Both of us won't be able to sleep in 3 days." Y/n said and smiled at her senpai.

"He's not listening." Ayako said.

Shohoku's basketball team all watching at the ring where Sakuragi and Rukawa still holding.

"Man! Those 2 guys don't know when to stop!"

"Maybe one day those 2 guys will become the best partners in Japan." Anzai-sensei spoke.

The game ball ended with 260-18 to the seniors.
