"Where did Nick go?" I asked as I was sitting in the living room with Chris and Matt.
"I don't know, he just ran upstairs." Chris said, looking at the TV.
"Hm okay." I said as I stood up and went upstairs.
I went into his room, but he wasn't there, when I went outside the room I saw stairs. There were stairs for the loft, so I climbed up there.
"Oh hey Y/n." Nick said, sitting on the ground with a box in his hand.
"What are you doing here?" I laughed at him.
"You should see this." He said looking at me and then the box.
I sat next to it and saw the box, it was white with drawings from littles kids.
"Oh my god is that..?" I asked him as I recognised the box.
"Yes." He opened it.
He took a photo out of the box. It was a photo of the first time we met.
"We were 6 years old." I took it out of his hand.
He then took another photo out of the box and it was a photo when we did a prank on Matt and Chris.
Nick and I had the idea, to sneak into Matt's and Chris' room and wake them up with water pistols and before that, Nick had taken a selfie. It was one of the best memories of all time.
We laughed at all the photos.
There was a photo of us 4 where we had a dinosaurier costume.
"Oh man, I miss this. Where'd all the time go? " I said kinda sad.
Nick smirked at me and I knew what he was planning to do.
He then stood up and looked around to find another box.

There were dinosaur costumes and water pistols.
"I don't think we fit in these." I said looking at the costumes.
"We do, remember how big they were." He said.
He sat next to me.
"Okay we should make an alarm for when we are waking up." He said taking his phone, but I stopped him.
"Why don't we just do it now?" I asked him.
"I don't think they're asleep." He said.
"They are laying on the coach, let's wait for 30 minutes and then they will be asleep."
We went downstairs into his room and filled the water pistols. I went into the bathroom and realized the costume still fits me, even though it was a bit tight.
I went into Nick's room and we started laughing at each other.
We went downstairs as quiet as we could be but we still were laughing.
They were asleep. We ran up there and then started attacking them. When they both stood up, me and Nick ran upstairs laughing, while Chris and Matt were chasing us.
We closed the door and laughed at each other, while Matt and Chris were banging against the door, to open it.
"Nick you're really my best friend, I really love you" (platonic ofc.)
"I love you too." And we hugged each other.

Joie de Vivre
A modern man chased immortality and found it. In a mixture of good and bad luck, he was re-born as part of the Uzumaki clan from the Naruto-verse, some few years before their scheduled destruction. But if Daichi were the sort to allow a little thing like fate to get in his way, he'd never have survived in the first place. Dedicated, intelligent, chock full of ideas from a technologically advanced society, and perfectly willing to scorch the earth, he sets out to avert history. Can he avert canon, save the Uzumaki, and forge his people into a mighty nation? Or will he fail, dooming his clan to extinction? At the end of the day, all he wants is a good life. And considering even Death itself didn't stop him, he pities whoever gets in his way. ================== Tags: Naruto, Reincarnation, OC, eventual multi-cross. ================== Author's (Brief) Note: Back by popular demand. This was my first significant fanfic (and fic in general). I wasn't happy with the writing as time went on, and took it down, but years later am still getting requests to put it back up so I guess some people liked it. Newly re-released as I finish some minor editing, there are about 100,000 words (~360 RRL pages) already written, so releases should be fast until I catch up with the backlog. That said, it may languish in hiatus at that point if the interest isn't high enough to merit continuing, so if you're the type to only read finished stories (or ones where the author promises to do so), I am very specifically not promising that. On the other hand, if enough people read, like, review, comment, rate, etc. then it will get added to my writing schedule. Generally, the character is based on a “how badass could someone who hasn't done ridiculously crazy shit be? Or, how does someone with the potential, in another setting, with a lot of luck, to be a badass act and develop as a modern, productive member of society? And then how would they deal with the Naruto-verse?” Please, please do not judge my writing by this. Unless you really like it, in which case fine, do, but recognize my other writing is likely better (unless it’s that one MTG/ASoIaF/SW fic I did over on SB as a speed-writing experiment, which is also pretty terrible).

The Last Marshal
Weird West Fantasy Noir Once the Republic Marshals brought order to the chaotic lands along the Frontier, facing dangers both human and supernatural with ancient wisdom and a six-gun —but that was a long time ago. Destroyed by conspiracy and betrayal, all that remains of that secretive order is one nameless man on a trek though the West seeking revenge on the woman he blames for the Marshals' fall and his disgrace. When a visitor from our world joins him on his journey, they together must confront the horrors of a strange land, the mysteries of the past and the real meaning of their quest for justice. The world of Tellus is what 19th Century Earth would have looked like if the stories of Poe, Ambrose Bierce, Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgeson were real. History in this world moves slower. The old faiths persist and civilization never conquered the dark corners of the map, at least not without being inextricably changed. Technology and culture takes a little longer to evolve in this land, as people here tend to spend more time pursuing their elaborate revenge plots or trying to avoid being the next sacrifice to the Outer Gods rather than advancing science or statecraft. Imagine Cormac McCarthy by way of Edgar Rice Burroughs, though a little less testosterone-drenched than that description would imply. Three caveats: First, there are deep mysteries here, including how such a world came to be and who controls it. Second, this world is not wholly unconnected from our own. There is a historical point of divergence, but in the distant past. To paraphrase Twain: history in this world is not a repeat of our own, but it does often rhyme. And finally, this is not a setting that lends itself to happy endings.
