Part37 (Last Part)

Khushi was in sketch room designing something. Suddenly, it started raining. Khushi admired it for a while through the window smilingly. That's when Khushi got a call on her mobile. It was from Arnav. She attended it.

Arnav: Khushi take your stuff and come to the parking lot. I'm waiting in the car.

Before she asks anything he disconnected the call. She got panicked and came by running. In no time she got inside the car and Arnav started the engine.

Khushi: Arnav, is anything wrong? Is everyone alright?

Arnav didn't say anything and Khushi understood seeing him driving casually that nothing would be wrong.

Khushi: What's this Arnav? Do you know I was doing a very important job?

Arnav: Every day we are doing the same Khushi.

Khushi: Where are you taking me?

Arnav: Suspense.

Khushi: Are you kidnapping me?

Arnav(chuckled): Yha, I want one more Honey Moon.

Khushi punched his abs playfully and sat straight. She saw they were traveling in the other way.

Khushi: Arnav, won't you tell me where are we going?

Arnav stopped the car and got down in the pouring rain. Khushi dropped her jaw seeing that and she was amazed when he opened her side door and pulled her out. That's when she saw they were standing in front of an Ice cream shop. He dragged her with him inside the shop and ordered her favorite chocolate cone. Khushi was looking at him who forwarded the cone towards her.

Khushi: Did you bring me to fulfill my will?

Arnav(nodded yes): We already fulfilled what we wished. Admiring full moon, feeding your favorite dish keeping you in my lap. Giving your company while eating your favorite ice cream is the only one we have missed.

He circled her shoulder and started walking out of the shop.

Khushi: I didn't expect, you would take it so seriously.

Arnav: what is there to relish our life, other than this kind of gestures? It will be sweet memories of our life, right?

Khushi: Undoubtedly.

She hugged him and started tasting the ice cream while drenching in the rain.

Next day

Arnav hurried to Khushi's cabin.

Arnav: Khushi wind up everything right away. Come fast.

Khushi: Not again Arnav. I have to do very important work.

Arnav: Khushi we have to go.

He seemed so nervous.

Khushi: Anything serious Arnav?

He nodded yes.

Arnav: Your Bhabi is hospitalized.

Khushi: Is anything serious?

Arnav(nodded no): Little....

Khushi(shocked): What?

Arnav: Let's go. We should be with Shyam.

Khushi shut down her pc and followed him. Both of them were in tension. In these months, Khushi witnessed Shyam's love for Anjali. How he took care of her, how he took her to monthly checkup, how he accompanied her in "walking" every day and made her eat a healthy diet, etc., etc. Khushi was so much satisfied with his gestures towards Anjali. After all, she wanted Anjali's happiness.

They reached the hospital and saw Shyam was sitting outside the operation theater spilling tears. Garima and Shashi were consoling him. He relaxed seeing Arnav and Khushi in the hospital. Arnav strode to him directly.

Arnav: Shyam please be strong. You shouldn't lose your courage.

Shyam: How can I be brave when I saw her screaming in pain? And the doctor told me it's critical. Please tell them to save my wife. I need her Arnav. I can't imagine my life without her.

Saying he sat there worriedly. He felt a soft touch on his shoulder. He lifted his head and saw Khushi with tears.

Khushi: she will be alright because she is a fighter. She won't give up easily. Be strong... (pause) Bhaiya.

Shyam had forgotten Anjali for a while and her critical condition. He was staring at his sister who was talking with him kindly. He couldn't believe she was really consoling him. He stood and caught hold of her hands.

Shyam: Khushi I'm sorry... I hurt you.

Khushi(nodded no): I have forgotten everything Bhaiya.

Shyam hugged her and he couldn't control his tears. Arnav was so happy to see them together. At the same time, the Nurse came with a cute Girl baby. Shyam was reluctant to take her in his hands. He was tensed about his wife.

Shyam: How is my wife?

Nurse: She is fine and unconscious because of operation.

Shyam took the baby in his hands. He smiled at her. All of them lost themselves seeing their happiness in the form of a cute child.

Shyam: She is my lucky Angel. She made my sister forgive me.

He kissed her forehead. Khushi amazed seeing her brother's fragile side. She was a little hesitant to accept Shyam at first but she understood when she saw him restless for Anjali.

Shyam(looking at the baby): See beta she is your Bua. I want you to be like her.

Arnav(teasingly): Are you sure Shyam? But from where will you find a poor soul like me for her? (Khushi hit him playfully.) See what I said is true.

Shyam(chuckled): Yah that's the valid point to think. He laughed.

Khushi admired her husband and brother's bond which was growing like anything with understanding. She felt glad for them. She looked at her niece who was clutching her finger in her sleep. Khushi smiled at her. She is really a lucky angel as Shyam said. She brought their lost happiness back. She called her whispering, SHALI...... who smiled hearing her Bua's sweet voice making everyone smile. 

Arnav and Khushi entered RM. Cutest Aarav and Aashi who were twins, because of their father's ran to their parents and hugged them. They smiled at them and before they ask anything, they ran back to their Granny to continue their story. Arnav and Khushi amazed seeing that. This is their storytime. Ratna's duty is to tell them stories every day as Arvind helps them to complete their homework. This was their regular routine. Arvind got voluntary retirement from AR as he didn't get time to spend with his Grandchildren. Arnav also didn't want to bother his father anymore.

Khushi was tension free while Arvind and Ratna were there to take care of her children. She knew, even she couldn't teach them good culture and behavior than Ratna. Arnav was the best proof of Ratna's upbringing.

Aarav and Aashi were usually waiting for their parents to pour everything which happened in school. But today, seems like they were very much engrossed in some story.

Ratna: Khushi beta, wait I will bring coffee.

Khushi: No MAJI, you just continue. I will prepare.

Ratna: You just came from the office and you must be tired. Wait I will ask HP then.

Ratna ordered HP to bring coffee for them and they took seats opposite to Ratna and kids.

Aarav: Dhadi continue your story.

Aashi: Yes Dhadi... it's very interesting.

Arnav and Khushi also curious to know which story is the reason for their children's interest.

Ratna: Mahakali was angry with everyone. She was in the urge of destroying everything which was crossing her path. She was disappointed seeing unfaithful and merciless people. She would have been wiped out the world in anger.

Aashi(excitedly): Then?

Ratna: Then, LORD SHIVA appeared in front of her.

Aarav: She had destroyed him too?

Ratna: No. she didn't.

Aashi: Why?

Ratna: Because MAHAKALI is Goddess of goodness. She couldn't destroy him as Shivji also "too good".

Aarav: He is her husband right?

Ratna: yah. She is against only the wrong people. So she got controlled in front of Shivji's love. Because he respects her. She was MAHAKALI only to bad people but for Shivji, she is PARVATHI who couldn't go against her husband. She is a Goddess who could be controlled by LOVE. Shivji is the only one who understands her well. So she never defies Shivji nor leaves him.

Ratna continued her story. She knew her big children were in some other world forgetting each other holding their hands looking into each other's eyes. 

Arnav pressed her hand looking into her eyes as he understood what she was undergoing right now. He smiled at her lovingly.

This story remembered them of their past. Khushi was not less than a MAHAKALI who didn't like men. But she has changed by Arnav's flawless love towards her. She accepted him as her husband and started following him on the way he went. There was no hesitation, no distrust, no contradiction but only peace and love.

Ratna saw them and pretended like she didn't see anything as always with a smile on her face while keeping her grandchildren busy with her story didn't let them disturb her big children.
