《My best friends brother》Chapter 11

Once it got around that I was dating a senior and not just any senior. But Jaxon. It was hell. Girls glared at me. Rumors started. I went over to Jaxon after school and a lot of people were looking at us.
"Get over it people. They've been dating for two years if you haven't noticed before" Nelson shouted at everyone.
"Thanks man" Jaxon said.
"I wonder if she knows about Marsha" a girl said out loud while passing us. I look at Jaxon.
"That I'm gonna have to explain" he said looking at me.
"But not in the eyes and hears of the public" Nelson said. Jax nodded and put his hand on my waist leading me out of the schools parking lot.
"So Marsha" I said.
"I met her a few months ago at the spring formal. Her brother goes to school there and he asked her to come because we could have our families visit. We started fooling around. A month went by and then two weeks. She came to see me. Said she was pregnant. Said it was mine. I called up my dad and talked to him. Asked him not to say anything to Aubrey because I knew it would get back to you and I didn't want to hurt you that way. But anyways. He said I had to see if it was mine. We went to do a DNA test. Turns out it wasn't mine. So when I first got here I saw her here in the same school as you. I talked to her. Asked her how she was doing. You know being nice. But it got around that we fooled around" he said. I nodded.
"People are saying she's pregnant with my baby" he added.
"Okay so let them. It's obviously not yours" I said. He pulled me to him. I wrapped my arms around him and closed my eyes.

"I'm sorry for doing anything while I was in military school" he said.
"It's fine" I replied. He tightened his arms around me.
I came out of the downstairs bathroom and pushed into a wall. Bree has her arm against my throat.
"Marsha is pregnant with my little niece or nephew. Do not mess this up for my brother" she said. I wanted to roll my eyes. I pushed her away.
"It's not his" I replied.
"That's not what she's saying" she responded.
"Your brother got a DNA test" I said.
"Yeah and it came back positive" she replied.
"No it didn't" I responded.
"Yes it did" she said. I pushed her further away from me and went upstairs to his room. I slammed the door and he looked at me from his game.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Do you still have the papers from the DNA test?" I replied.
"Yeah why?" He responded.
"Can I see them?" I asked. He got up from the bed and went over to his army duffel bag and took them out. He walked over and gave them to me. I looked at them.
"What's going on?" He asked.
"Bree said the test came back positive" I answered. He shook his head.
"She's just trying to break us up" he replied. It was negative.
"I don't understand why she's doing this to me" I responded. I sat down on his bed and put the papers down. He sat down next to me.
"Everything is going to be okay. She'll come around eventually" he said.
Everyday at school I kept getting glares and talked about. Saying I was a home wrecker and a slut for being with Jaxon. Everyone was on Marsha's side. Everyone but Jaxon's friends. They were the only ones I hung with the whole week. Them and Jaxon. When the dance came up I didn't feel like going because of it. But Jaxon convinced me to go. I was currently looking in my body mirror at myself in the dress. It was a short sparkly black dress. It was a little puffed out. It didn't have any straps to it. My hair was half up and half down the part that was down was curled. I put on my black wedges. I grabbed my black mask. I put it on and went downstairs. Jaxon walked in through the door and stopped at me.

"Wow" He said.
"Where's your mask?" I asked. He pulled it out of the inside pocket of his tux. It was black to match me. I smiled. He pulled out a white and black flower. I smiled. He put it on my wrist and we went to his car. He opened the door for me and I got inside. He got in on the other side. I looked in the back and Bree was back there on her phone.
