I grew up in an immigrant community. Although, at first, this was not going to be a part of the story, once I started writing about Riley and what she was facing, I couldn't help let my experiences slip in.

The story is funny and is at its center is a romcom, but it does have deep plotlines. So, it was difficult trying to balance the humor and the more serious topics that lingered in the background.

I think they all fell in love with my two main characters, they are a bunch of goofball. Overall I think they enjoyed the lighthearted nature and the occasional emotional punch.

The characters, they really grew on me as the story went on. It was sad to let them go at the end.

Stand alone, although I was playing with the idea of a spin off.

I would like them to feel compassion for my main character and leave feeling like she deserves the happiness she got.

Let the character and what makes them unique guide the story. It can take you to interesting places.

They are goofballs, and love making stupid jokes...

Noah's abs, I told you...stupid joke.

I am currently working on a fantasy, would love if anyone would check it out. Its called, "War Of The Forgotten Lovers"
