Emma arrived at the restaurant earlier than planned on purpose. She liked to get acclimated before she had to be charming. Cyn must have had the same thought because she walked in not long after Emma arrived. She was stunning. Emma stood and pulled her chair out for her before she sat. They both just stared at each other, giddy and shy.
"Hi, thanks for coming." Emma said.
"Of course. I've never been here." Cyn said as she looked around.
"Me either but a colleague of mine told me the food was delicious." Emma took a sip of water.
"I hope they're right. I'm a picky eater." Cyn disclosed. She wanted to look down at the menu but she couldn't take her eyes off of Emma. Even in the dim lit restaurant, her blue eyes still shined like diamonds chipped from the sky.
"Yeah me too." Emma sighed and looked around for a server. She needed a drink to calm her nerves.
"So can I just ask?" Cyn said. She was torturing herself with questions from the moment Emma left The Green House and it was time she got answers.
"Ask what?"
"Okay are you and Delilah looking for a third or something?" Cyn asked.
"Not at the moment, no. Why? Are you interested?" Emma asked comically.
"No...well... maybe but that's not the point. Why did you ask me out?"
"Because I like you and I want to talk to you and get to know you better." Emma answered.
"How much better? Like girlfriend better or just like friendship better? What are we doing?" Cyn needed clarification before she let her feelings run wild. She didn't want to be blindsided later on after thinking this was something it wasn't.

Emma took a deep breath. She wasn't expecting to get right to meat of it so soon but Cyn left her no choice. "I do want a sort of relationship with you. More than friends. I wouldn't call it girlfriend but.."
"Soooo you just want to have sex with me?" Cyn asked skeptically.
"No."
"Then what is it?" Cyn asked. Her voice got a little loud because she was confused and she didn't like it. Her frustrations were quickly growing out of control.
"Lower your voice, Cynthia, this instant." Emma's voice was stern and it rattled Cyn to her core.
She straitened up and lowered her voice. "I'm sorry."
"I know you have a lot of questions and I'll do my best to answer them all but you need to be patient. Can you do that?" Emma asked.
Cyn nodded. "Yes." She liked they way Emma spoke to her. She liked being put in her place.
"Thank you. Have you ever heard of BDSM?" Emma asked.
"I read the book." Cyn answered.
"What book?"
"The book. The one that was turned into a movie. I get what it's all about." She said. "I've never done it though... oh wait. Delilah did use handcuffs on me once. She didn't hit me or anything though. Does that still count?" She asked.
Emma chuckled. "Sure. I'm not so interested in the sexual part of the relationship, however."
"Are you into the torture part? Because I guess I have a pretty high pain tolerance, but I don't know. We can try different things I guess. Right?" Cyn rambled she was nervous. Now was one of those times. She starting biting her nails.
"Take your hand out of your mouth, sweetie. They're covered in germs." Emma said. She fell into the Mommy role so easily around Cyn. It wasn't on purpose. It was wrong actually. She had to consent to Emma being her caregiver before she just took the role upon herself.

Cyn snatched her hand from her mouth. Her cheeks burned with embarrassment. "Sorry." She knew it was a nasty habit.
"It's okay but no I'm not interested in the torture parts either. I'm a caregiver, a Mommy to be more specific. That's one of my roles in the community." Emma could tell by the blank look drawn on her face that Cyn had no idea what she was talking about. "So you definitely know what a Dominant and a submissive are, right?" Emma asked.
"Yes." Cyn nodded slowly.
The waiter finally made his way to their table but by now Emma didn't need the drink. They placed their orders and the waiter left again.
"So the Mommy, Me, would be the dominant in this situation. Whereas the little would be the submissive. It doesn't always include sex. I'm really into the role play aspect of it myself."
Cyn looked down at her plate then back at Emma. "You want me to be your little. Is that what you're saying?"
"Well that's what I was getting to." Emma said.
"I'd have to wear diapers?" Cyn asked. She didn't know if she was comfortable with that. She was a big girl... she meant an adult. She was an adult.
Emma chuckled. "It could be discussed. There are rules and limits. While I would be in charge, I can't do anything that you consider a hard limit."
"Hard limit? Opposed to what? Soft limits?" Cyn wondered.
"Yes, actually."
"And I'd call you Mommy?" Cyn asked.
"Yes."
Cyn didn't really get it still. Why would she want her to call her Mommy. Then she thought about the countless amount of guys she'd met who called themselves and wanted their girlfriends to call them Daddy. That wasn't taboo. She scolded herself for being a bad feminist. Women should be just as free to refer to themselves as anything they want just as men do.
Emma worried she had freaked her out. "I'm only explaining it to you. I'm not expecting you to say yes or start tomorrow or anything like that. You asked and I want to be honest with you."
"Thank you but why didn't you just ask Delilah? She's your girlfriend." Cyn said.
"I know but she's not the little type."
"What makes you think I am?" Cyn asked.
Emma chuckled softly. "Just a hunch. I could be wrong, but you give strong little vibes."
Cyn laughed. "I don't know if that's good or bad."
"It's great." Emma said.
"Can.. can I think about it?" Cyn stumbled over her words.
"Of course you can." The fact that Cyn was even considering made her ecstatic. She decided to table the little talk for the rest of the evening and get to know other things about Cyn. The more they spoke the more optimistic she became about their immediate future. This was going to be good. Everything would be fine.
