I was extremely tired, I was up till 4 am but had to wake up at 7 because I was being forced to go to cheer camp like every other year. I'm not into the whole happy and 'yay Bucky'. You maybe be wondering who Bucky is? He is my older self obsessed cousin, he's the most popular person in the school all because he's on the cheer squad and can do a couple of flips but so can everyone else! You may see that I really didn't like him. "Harls! Wake up come one we've got to go!" I already knew that I wouldn't actually be a actually taking part, no-one new I was there for the past years so I'd usually take a book and just read while there all cheering. I went over to my book shelf as my hand hovered over each one. I finally settled for 3. Two horrors/ sy-fi and one romance, I only picked the romance because every time I see addy and Zed (her boyfriend) It always make me feel unhappy because no one loves me like that but I've also never loved anyone like that either, well maybe one but I don't like to think of him. I put my brown wig on, yes addison has told me to take it off but I already don't have any friends and I don't want to be called a freak with no friends. I put my cheer outfit on threw some clothes and the books into my bag with anything else I needed before heading downstairs.

"Hey mum, hey dad." I kissed both their cheeks as I walked over to the door. "Not so fast young lady!" My dad shouted from behind me I turned to see him standing with a plate of toast. "You haven't had any breakfast!" He shouted walking over to give me the plate, I was already late so I grabbed a slice before running off. "Gotta go I'll see you after camp!" I grabbed my bag from the bottom of the stair and went to sit with Addy and Bree. The bus journey wasn't too long it was only 20 minutes maybe less. We finally got there when I saw Bucky and his minions, the aceys. "Cheer camp! Even more sparkly then I ever imagined!" Exclaimed Bree, it was hers and many others first time here so there was quite a few more people here. Bucky started rambling on so I ended up zoning out. "Aceys you take the veterans your the A team... Addison, Bree and little ley, you take the newbies your the erm... z team." He was uncomfortable with this but did he have to call me little ley? "Hey don't call me that!" I shouted at him causing him to turn around with a huge grin on his face. I was called this for 2 reasons, I was extremely small and my best friend Wes would call me ley before he went. I let out a sigh thinking about him before Bucky spoke. "Awwww is someone upset their first crush moved away?" He pouted his lip making fun of me so I walked up to him and slapped him across the face before turning to where we would be sleeping. You can probably tell we don't like each other at all.

Me, Addy and Bree was sharing a room thankfully, the first challenge was about to start so I grabbed a book before setting off into my reading spot, this wasn't the first time I ditched cheer camp, and it most likely won't be my last. I walked into the forbidden forest, went over to a tree, and sat in front of it with my back against the tree. I don't know why but I always just enjoyed the forest, the presence of the trees surrounding me, the sun beaming in certain places, birds tweeting and all the other animals. I took out the books looking at which one to read. I decided to go for one of the horrors but changed my mind to the romance one. I put the others away before getting comfortable. Ever since o was young I liked to read out loud, I enjoyed making different voices for different characters it was way more fun. I did this for the rest week until it was the finale challenge so I decided I would go so that no one was too suspicious.

When I reached the camp the last challenge was the same as every other year. We had to dance, each team then had its only little challenge, then create a pyramid and ring the bell. The aceys went first before passing through, when we went we were more strong with our movements. As much as Bucky didn't want to, he let us go to our challenge. We had to climb the wall then zip line over the others, we saw that they had to cross a mud pit by walking over a small rope thing. We got to the other side before the 'A team' did and Addy rang the bell. We all cheered, for once the aceys had lost. We won, the zombies won. Bucky handed my sister the trophy which she seemed to struggle to carry before Bucky snatched it back. "So now to make things about me..." of course he couldn't go a few seconds without the attention, "This year I will be student body president, I mean their is a vote but we all know who's gonna win" he smiled at everyone and pointed at himself. "Shocked with that ego he actually mentioned the vote." I whispered but Addy heard me and hit my shoulder playfully before sniggering herself. "Anyway, I'm going to need someone to be cheer captain while I run the school" as soon as the words left his mouth all 3 aceys were arguing about who it should be but I knew how much Addy wanted it. "No. We need someone who will build the United squad, and that someone is Addy!" Everyone on the z- team (including some a team) erupted in to cheers as Addison hugged me. "Thank you" I smiled and we walked over to the bus to go back home.
