synonyms: delicate, exquisite, dainty, elegant, graceful; More

"melodic phrases of ethereal beauty"
whispers in the dark
breathless and laced with a song
humming quietly in the morning
pale yellow light casting bright shadows
on golden, sun kissed skin
dots on his flushed cheeks
pink like rosy cherry blossoms
the dent at the side of his smile
woven fingers under the covers
glass boy, you can see right through him
fragile boy, no please don't break him
sweet boy, sugary soft lips
broken boy, let's put you back together
walking through a faceless crowd
empty gazes, looking down
but a halo of curls
dark lashes framing eyes
coffee from burgundy to golden brown
drowning in melted chocolate
happy, with words in your mouth
glowing cheeks, smile more
when he cries it breaks my heart
stars spilling over, curling down his neck
an expanse of honey colored skies
tasting like purple rain
roses blooming from his wrists
staining the tiles blood red
i brought him daisies
we planted a new garden of flowers
gentle boy, like a summer breeze
lovely boy, watercolor paintings and pink sunsets
blue boy, shadows growing in his bones
precious boy, so afraid to be alone
invisible angel wings
feathery, cotton white angel wings
he doesn't like to play those keys
free the music from his dreams
only i get to see
when he falls into a melody
singing so soft, lullaby soft
playing soft songs when all are asleep
stomach and thighs, he's beautiful
darling, sweetheart, my love
when he loses himself
i promise I won't lose him
tracing patterns with my thumbs
i kiss his tears away
i traced universes over his shoulder blades
coloring every single scar
sunshine boy, light up the world
angel boy, from crystal skies
pretty boy, warm cheeks pink lips
rainbow boy, with rainbow scars
he is ethereal

Outlook: The Stars (Consciousness Unbound Book 1)
The year is 2152. Rune Yahui is a nineteen-year-old failure, not having gained entrance to college or the military, with no significant prospects in life. Even worse, Rune is the poorest of the poor, hailing from the mega-slums of New Southern Chicago, the lowest pit of America. In a desperate last-ditch attempt to gain a future more lustrous than toiling the rest of his days away in abhorrent conditions in one of the near sweat-shop level factories that dot the megapolis, Rune signs up for the Virtual Citizen program, a program to cull the excessive world population by transferring just their brains into a video game. In a stroke of rare luck, Rune is admitted into the program and happily submits himself to the surgery and digitization process. Unfortunately for him, he wakes up several hundred years later than he expected... or does he? **Author's Note** This isn't a type of story typical to RRL. You may have noticed LitRPG in the tags, but it's a relatively minor element in the story until later. You may also notice Slice of Life is in the tags. This story is going to be slow and there won't be any power tripping until way later if at all. The focus will be on character development. That doesn't mean I won't still have action/excitement, however. I encourage you to give the story a try. Maybe it will be your thing, maybe it won't. Thanks for even taking the time to read this, and if you do give my fiction a try, I hope you enjoy it. If you don't, well, I hope you find something that you do enjoy. Happy reading!

Cloudlark
File under: sky pirates, guild level-ups, and true companions (nakama) The problem isn't her, it's her folks. Seren is tired of living a lonely life on the island, but every time she brings up the lack of community to her parents, they tell her that it's better that way. Better not to have anyone else around. Better to have dad-vetted "friends" in touch only by mail. Better to not go near the transportation area and to report anything "strange." And she tries. She really does. When it becomes crystal clear that nothing will change, the lure of far off horizons is louder than ever. The last straw is when an attempt to abide by the rules fails and even small pleasures are taken from her. Opportunity knocks and she throws open the door, determined to prove that she can take care of herself. Too bad the world is just as determined to prove otherwise. (Story is aiming for PG-13 levels of content. Tagged with Profanity & Gore just to be safe.) (weekly update at Friday midnight PST / Saturday 4pm JST)

In the Shadow of the Builders
Long ago, the world declined and eventually collapsed. But this wasn't the end of everything. Giant mechanical beings known only as Builders roam the lands, picking up the leftover pieces and repairing the cities and infrastructure of the old world. New societies popped up in their wake and for many life goes on. Lavinia lives in the sleepy town of Seventy-Seven where she spends her days tinkering, repairing, and enjoying the slow pace of life with an old-world mecha named Arlo. But even though it's a peaceful existence, it's rarely boring. When you're living after the "end of the world," you can always find something to get up to. Cover made with Wombo Dream.
