《Harriet Potter and the avengers》Chapter 22

Later in that evening Lord Voldemort summoned all his death eaters to the meeting hall. He wishes to talk and explain everything to them. Slowly he starts hearing people popping into the room. As they all finally got there, he began his dramatic entrance. Entering in with his black cloak flowing out and his aura filling the room, strong.
"Ah death eaters I'm glad you all could make it. Now to start I have confirmed that yes Harriet Potter has truly left Britain. I'm sure you are wondering what we will do with this development. Well, we will do nothing. Absolutely nothing." He says to them. He hears some of them start mumbling and whispering.
He silences them with a wave of his hand, annoyed at them questioning him. "Do not question me. No one here is to do anything other than told to by me. Trust that I have a plan. Everyone is in uproar after Potter's letter and people are questioning everything. We are going to let them stew, cause their own chaos. You know dig their own graves as you say. Let them believe themselves safe. If we do nothing, they are far more likely to sentence Dumbledore more severely." He says, watching as some people agreed and others seemed unsure of disagreeing.
He watches, keeping his eyes on those that are disagreeing. Cautious of there reactions to the next bit. "Furthermore no one is to touch Harriet Potter, no one is to harm Harriet Potter under any circumstances." He says, hearing a loud uproar but not as nearly as he had suspected. He rationalised that some of them had changed their opinions on her after everything.
He silences them again, his eyes glowing red and his aura strong and domineering as he talks more harshly as he continues. "Do not question this. I have been informed with more information and she can not die under any circumstances. Though I'm not saying we will not be looking for her as we will be. This will not to be to bring her here, it is just so we can find out where she is for safety reasons. She is to be protected. No questions." He Dismisses everyone but his inner circle.

Once he was sure everyone else was gone, he turns to his confused inner circle.
(S=Severus, V=Voldemort, L=Lucius, N=Narcissa, B=Bellatrix, A= Augustus Rookwood, RO=Rodolphus Lestrange, RA=Rabastan Lestrange, E=Evan Rosier, T=Tiberius Nott, AL=Alecto Carrow, AM=Amycus Carrow, C=Corban Yaxley.)
S: Dark lord I must ask why your stance with Potter has changed so much.
V: Why? Are you disappointed?
L: It's not like that Lord, we are just curious.
B: Is it because she has been hurt by her relatives?
E: I'm sure it's more complicated than that.
V: I'd rather not explain specifics, but I can say if I'm right that as long as she lives I can't die. So I'm personally invested in her staying alive. Were you aware Severus?
S: Unfortunately yes but only for the last few weeks.
V: I'm disappointed you didn't inform me.
S: I wasn't even sure he was right.
RA/RO: what are you even talking about?
V: Nothing for you to concern yourselves with yet.
T: So anything else to discuss?
V: Yes we will all be getting body scans done at Gringotts. I want everyone's results afterwards.
C: why? If I might ask.
V: just a suggestion from someone concerned.
Snape looked confused before he realised Harriet must have spoken to him too. Everyone then left except Snape, Lucius, Narcissa, Bellatrix, Tiberius, and Voldemort. Then they looked at him obviously expecting more answers.
V: She is my horcrux.
T: Are you sure?
V: I was only 40 % sure but after Severus confirmed I'm a good 90% Sure now.
L: We need her here now then; she must be protected.
N: Good luck with that. I have a feeling she has put a lot more protections in place than we think.
Just then a house elf comes in with a letter to Lord Voldemort. It was from Harriet Potter. He let the others see it after he had read it before pending a response with their help and then sending it to Harriet by the Malfoy owl. Attaching a parcel to another owl addressed to her. Though the owls weren't gone for as long as it should have been making them question how far away she really was.

On the Road to Elspar (Book 1)
The year is 1329. The Huntress' War has entered its tenth year, inflaming competing nationalisms and pitting the Confederacy of Caldrein against one of the continent's superpowers, the Tenereian Union. Desperately outnumbered, the Confederacy has relied on the prowess of its famed Caldran mercenaries, with highly-trained and experienced warbands returning from foreign conflicts to the defense of their homeland, and it is on their backs that Caldrein has successfully mounted a valiant defense for a decade. But they are losing, and day by day, with all the grace of a sledgehammer, the vast Tenereian armies take one more bit of Caldran territory, one footstep at a time. Sixteen-year-old Neianne from the village of Caelon has submitted herself to Faulkren Academy, one of the centuries-old institutions established to train the next generation of Caldrein's elite soldiers of fortune, to learn the ways of wars for three years before embarking upon the defense of her country. Her dryad family once hailed from reclusive woodland communes isolated from Caldrein's complicated mainstream society, and her upbringing leaves the shy village girl unprepared to suddenly train alongside other apprentices from backgrounds as low as the dirty slums of Caldrein's cities and as high as the halls of aristocratic power. Yet the war is eroding the norms and traditions that the Caldran people have long considered part of their national mythos, and the tensions within the confederacy that have long simmered under the surface - race, class, community, identity - are slowly but surely dividing its people, and Neianne must grow and discover who she really is, even as the war that she is steadfastly training for comes to its inexorable end... On the Road to Elspar is a fantasy quest - a work of interactive fiction wherein readers get to vote on what happens next at critical junctures - that is the first entry in a story that follows Neianne of Caelon, which first began on July 20, 2016. Originally a three-part in medias res prologue to a larger story titled On the Elsparian Road, it was eventually decided that this section - which covers Neianne's three years at Faulkren Academy - become its own independent story due to length, structural, and accessibility reasons. Despite this being a reader interactive work of fiction, due to logistical and verification concerns, voting will only be counted on its thread on the forum Sufficient Velocity, where this story originally began. As such, the content here on Royal Road serves as a story-only archive. You are, of course, entirely welcome to enjoy On the Road to Elspar as a conventional work of fiction, just as you are welcome to comment, discuss, and provide critique. But if you would like to participate in the voting, then I would be honored to welcome you on Sufficient Velocity. To facilitate accessibility and to ensure the best reading experience, this story-only version of On the Road to Elspar will be updated at a periodic pace, even though further content exists, so as to not overwhelm new readers on Royal Road. If you enjoy this story, wish to binge it, and/or want to participate in voting immediately, you may of course read all additional content via the link provided above. This paragraph will be removed once the content on Royal Road catches up with what has already been posted in its original thread. Cover artwork by DreamSyndd.
