"Happy birthday."
"Huh?" he looked confused.
"How do you know it is...." he continued
Before he could continue I continued
"I can smell seaweed soup from you." I said as I avoided eye contact
(Note to those who don't know, seaweed soup is a traditional birthday dish in Korea)
'Seaweed soup, really Eunha, that's the best reply you got.' I mentally groaned at my reply
"Oh?" he said looking more confused while he looked down at his clothes
He looked like a puppy. awwww, so cute!
Well after that awkward moment, we both decided to sit on the bench and talk.
Taekwang talked about his mom and dad, and his aunt who cooked seaweed soup for him who also is the only person that cares for him.
While I just listened.
In the drama, Kong Taekwang might be a funny character but inside he was lonely.
He needed love. One reason why I was always drawn to Taekwang.
We were the same.
Back in my world,
I had no real friend.
My parents were always busy
They divorced each other
They never thought about me.
They never even cared for me.
One can call me selfish, but why
I just needed love.
Suddenly there was silence, I looked to my right and saw Taekwang peacefully looking at me with a small smile.
"You alright?" he asked
"Yeah." I sniffed
There was peaceful silence between us.
"Taekwang." I suddenly called out his name
"Hm" he replied
"Do you have pet name." I asked curiously
"Huh?" he exclaimed
"What?" I raised an eyebrow, well I think I did.
"Nothing it's just, you asked too suddenly, it was out of context that's why." he said as he looked down
"Oh" I hummed

"Well, do you?" I asked again
"No." he replied
"What about you?" he questioned
I nodded
"Hani, my grandma used to call me that" I stated
"It's a beautiful name." he complimented
I grinned at his reply
"Where is your grandma now?"
I gave a sad smile and looked into the sky
I pointed towards the sky and vocalized
"She is a star now."
"Oh sorry." Taekwang replied looking a little sad.
"It's okay! She was a good person."
"I bet she was." he replied as he smiled looking into my eye.
We both looked directly into each other's eye.
Taekwang slightly leaned in and what could I do other than freeze in my place with my heart exploding
I could literally hear it
badump!
With each second he leaned in, my heart beat increased rapidly.
Badump! badump! badump!
Just when our lips were about to touch.
A flashlight was thrown upon us
'Really man! That was going to be my first kiss ever! Wait why am I feeling so sad'
I gave an annoyed look to the person with the flashlight
It was a middle aged man.
He was smiling, which I assume was a teasing look.
"Ahh! My bad."
"It's ok." it was Taekwang who answered with a smile. And OMG his cheeks were red. He was blushing!!!!
The old man walked away but while walking he said
"I hope you both remain together for the rest of your lives happily."
Taekwang and I both blushed when we heard this.
Thankfully, we sat back down and continued talking, this time about school.
Slowly I felt drowsy and tired, I closed my eyes and relaxed. When I woke up, my head was on Taekwang's shoulder.
(Well of course, ignore the crying and imagine them in a garden and night time.)

After a while, we started walking to our house.
Well Taekwang was walking me to my house.
Even when I refused but he still insisted, so I just let it be.
When we reached my house, I turned to Taekwang and said,
"Bye."
"Bye." he replied
Shit that was it. Wait what was I expecting. Eunha get those thoughts out of your mind
When I was about to open the outer metal gate of the house.
Taekwang continued
"Goodnight Hani."
That instantly bought a smile on my face, I turned around to come face to face with a smiling Taekwang.
I raised an eyebrow and replied
"Goodnight Tae." I replied
He chuckled
I went inside and opened the gate
Well aunty gave me an extra key for situations like today, as midnight had already passed.
I put my back against the door and sighed.
My heart was beating too fast!
I heard Taekwang laugh and say something under his breath.
I walked up the stairs and found aunty and Eunbi sleeping in auntie's room.
I figured it was a tough day for them.
Both of them, to find that your daughter and older sister is dead is kind of saddening
I silently walked to my room. I quickly got changed and laid down on my bed.
I thought about the thing that happened today.
And I couldn't help but blush.
My amost first kiss. I subconsciously touched my lips
What am I thinking?
'No Eunha get your head in line, Taekwang ends up with Eunbi. He has to'
Another thing, I won't be able to update for a while as my classes start from tomorrow.
Yours sincerely,
