Taekwang is buying the christmas presents by himself. He carries a lot of shopping bags. This is too tiring, he thought to himself. His stomach starts to growling. All the restaurant seem to be packed with people. He looks the one that has short queues. He goes there and starts to queuing. Suddenly from behind someone tap him gently.

"Excuse me."

Taekwang sees a familiar face. Two young women standing behind him. One of them is the woman that he helped before.

"What a coincidence" he said

"How's your wounds? Thank you again for helping me."

"Gwenchana. He never bother you anymore right?"

"Yes. The police takes care of it. Are you eating alone?"

"Ne." Taekwang smiles shyly

"You should join us. Ah cem. This is my sister, Joy."

"Annyeonghaseyo." Joy said

"Annyeonghaseyo." Taekwang said

"Thank you for helping my sister. Her colleague treated her bad. I'm glad you're there so he can't hit my sister. Ah cem. I heard from my sister that you're from Sekang high school?"

"Ne. Majayo."

"If it's all going well, I will study there too in the new semester as a freshman"

"Really? You should greet me then."

"Sure." They smile at each other.

Taekwang join them for lunch. Joy is such a fun loving girl. Taekwang seems to enjoy her company. After finishing their lunch, they go to separate ways.

Eunbi is walking alone on cold weather. She waves at her boyfriend and smiles at him. Han Yi Ahn looks tall and handsome as always. She walks closer to him.

"Mianhae. The bus comes late." She said

"Gwenchana. Let's go somewhere warm." He said.

They go to the nearest cafe and they order some hot drinks. He brings the drinks to their table.

"Gomawo." She said

"It's cold today. Isn't?"

"Ne. Ah cem. Unnie said hi. She can't go back to Seoul on this winter break."

"Ah that's too bad."

"Ne. She said that the flight ticket is too expensive. I miss her though"

"Are you still going to Tongyeong?"

"Ne. My mom will also come too."

"I hope you have fun there."

"You too."

Yi Ahn is contemplating. He takes a deep breath and says, "Hmmm.. Eunbi-ah.. should we stop..us?"

"What do you meant?"

"I'm tired. We've been fighting a lot about the same thing over and over again."

"We can work it out."

"I'm sorry. You deserve to be happy and I can't make it that happened. Let's go back to where we used to be."

"But..."

"This is for the best. We can focus on our dream without worrying each other feelings. I like you always but we're be happy on our own."

"I understand. No matter what I said won't change anything. I should go."

"Eunbi ah.. mianhae.."

"Gwenchana." No matter how hurt she is, she still smiling at him. She stands up and left.

She walks weakly alongside the road. People are passing her by. Across her road, Taekwang sees her. He follow her from his side. His eyes locked at her.

At the crossroads, he runs to her.

"Hi Go Eunbi." He said

"Gong Taekwang." She surprised

"It's good that you here. Carry all these stuffs, will you?"

She doesn't resist and just accept his shopping bags.

"Ya! Why are you look so weak?"

"Ani."

"Something wrong?"

"Ani"

He takes back his stuffs from her. He titled his face and looks at her face.

"Something must happen."

"Ani."

He put down all his shopping bags on the road. He pull her closer and hug her. He says, "just cry"

"Gong Taekwang.... I..." in few seconds, she cries her heart out.

Taekwang and Eunbi are strolling around the park. There's no words between them, they just walk. Suddenly she sneezes.

"Ya! It's cold." He protested

"You can go home if you want." Eunbi said nonchalantly

"Ya! How can I left you like this?! Go Eunbi stop!"

She stop walking and looks at him.

He puts his stuffs down. He takes his shawl from his neck and put it on to Eunbi's.

"Look look.. you should put more layer. Don't you know that it's getting colder each day."

"Ya.. you don't have to." She said

"Gwenchana.." he pinched her cheek and continues saying, "just don't give me that look. I hate to see you like this."

She looks at his eyes and a snow fall on them.

"You should go home." He said

"I don't want my mom to see me like this." She said

"Beside your big swollen eyes and red nose, you look ugly as always. Your mom won't notice."

"Ya!"

"Actually you look nice with the swollen eyes."

"Ya! Jugule?!" She kicks his foot and left him

"Hahaha. Ya! Wait for me. Don't you see i have to bring all these."

"Here let me take some"

They walk for almost an hour and they go to her home.

"Just go inside." He said

"Your shawl.." she tries to takes it off but Taekwang stop her

"It's for you. I just buy it actually but it looks better on you. "

"But.."

"No but. Just accept it, arachi?"

"Gomawo.."

"No worry. Ah cem.. here.." he gives all his shopping bags to her. He continues to say, "you're going to Tongyeong right. I buy these for them."

"All of these?"

"Ne. You're not going by bus right?"

"Ne. My mom will come too."

"Good then. I can't visit them because this is the first time I spend christmas with my dad"

"They will love it."

"I hope they will. You should go inside. I'm going" they wave at each other.

Eunbi and her mom left Seoul in the morning. They laughed and sang songs together on their journey to Tongyeong. When they arrived, the children are welcome them. They're helping carry their stuff. They are so happy when they see the presents for them. One of them ask for Taekwang. They missed played soccer together like before.

Taekwang sneezed. Someone must talked about me, he thought. He helped his father to put the foods on the table. His father looks proud of him. They eat together and talking about many things.

Yi Ahn prepared the foods for his father. He doesn't allowed his father to move. He ask him to sit and enjoy his holiday. A call is coming and Yi Ahn answered it. It's Eunbyul and they talked for a bit. He looks so happy when he heard her voice.

Eunbi arrives back to her house on evening. After spending few days at Tongyeong, she and her mom drive back to Seoul. Eunbi goes to her room after helping her mom. She enters her comfy room and looks at the big teddy bear from Yi Ahn. She takes it and put it into her closet. She closed the closet with smile on her face. It's for the best, she thought to herself.

She had so much fun in Tongyeong. She even don't have the time to think about Yi Ahn. Away from anything that drag her down is all she ever needs.

Today the students in class 2-3 are going to pyeongchang. They want to go holiday together before they're busy with their senior year. Some of the parents are joined them to look after them. They take their belongings and go to their own rooms. Shijin, Song joo and Eunbi are sharing their room. While Taekwang, min suk and Yi ahn are together.

Taekwang puts his bag on his bed. Yi Ahn stares at him uncomfortably.

"Ya! Am I that handsome?" Taekwang said to him but Yi Ahn just ignore him.

"I don't know that you will come." Taekwang said to him again. Yi Ahn just stay silently.

"Ya! You really don't have manners. You have no idea, how much I want to hit you!"

"No one stop you." Yi Ahn said

Taekwang lose his temper and grab Yi Ahn shirt. He pull his hand to punch him.

"How could you treat her like that!" Taekwang shout at Yi Ahn.

"Don't you realize? No matter what you do, she never likes you. Even though she's not with me, she still ignores you like she always do."

"Shut up!!"

"Ya! Ya! Stop both of you!" Min suk stop them. Taekwang releases his hand and stormed out from his room. Yi Ahn fix his clothes and goes out with min suk.

The students are gathering in front of the hotel. Most of the girls are planning to sitting on the cafe. Eunbi, shijin and Song joo are skiing on the easy track. Eunbi is not really good at skiing so they want to play safe. Taekwang is skiing so easily and left them. Even Yi Ahn surprised to see how good he is.

It almost dark and most of them already back to the hotel. Taekwang is arrived quite late and he sees there's no Eunbi among the students.

"Shijin, where's Eunbi?" He asked Shijin

"She hasn't back yet? She said that her shawl are missing so she went back to take it but it's an hour ago."

"What?! Let me look for her." Taekwang said

"Something wrong shijin?" Yi Ahn asked

"Eunbi hasn't come back yet." She said

"I'll look too." Yi Ahn said

Yi Ahn and Taekwang go around the hotel but haven't found her.

"You look again this area, I will go far from here. She shouldn't be far from here." Taekwang said

"Araso." Yi Ahn followed his instructions.

It's almost an hour but they couldn't find her. It's getting dark. Yi Ahn go back to hotel and call for back up.

Taekwang doesn't want to give up despite his classmate already told him to stop the searching. He still search for her.

He's quite far from the hotel and he sees a person walking.

"Go Eunbi!" He shout and run to her

"Gong Taekwang.." she looks so weak and collapsed in front of him. He catches her and carry her.

At the hotel, a doctor checks her up.

"She's okay. She just need a rest and some hot drinks. Thankfully, she was founded before too late."

The students and the parents are relieved. They allowed her to rest. Taekwang resists to left her. He sits by her side. His drowsiness starts to infect him. He falls asleep beside her.

Eunbi wakes up after few hours sleep. She sees Taekwang sleeping by her side. She looks at him and touch his hair gently.

Yi Ahn goes inside silently to her room. He doesn't want to wake her up. He sees Eunbi looks at Taekwang. The looks that she used to see him but not anymore. At that moment he knows that he already lose her. He turn around and left them.

Taekwang feels warm and something moving his hair. He wakes up and see her awake.

"Ya! Go Eunbi! Gwenchana?"

"Ne."

"Ya! How come you go that far? You even can't skiing that well."

"How do you know that I can't ski?"

"I saw you when I was skiing."

"But your not in the easy track. How can you see me?"

"Ya! Ya! It's not important. Why're you that far?"

"My shawl fell when I was skiing. I ask Shijin and Songjoo to go first while I take the shawl. When I wanted to go back, the wind blew strongly and push me far from the hotel. When I finally can control it, I don't know where I am. I try skiing again but there's no use. So I walk and walk but I don't see people around me. I felt so tired and don't have any energy left but then you found me."

"Ya! Next time don't do that again. You should stick with others. Beside the shawl is not important!"

"But it's from you.."

"You still have it?"

"Ya! Of course! it's the most warmth shawl I have."

"But still.. it's dangerous!"

"Are you worry about me?"

"Of course! I almost die when I can't find you. You really?!!"

"Mianhae.. Gomawo Gong Taekwang." She holds his hand. Gong Taekwang surprised and says, "you should rest. I'll be by your side"

She nods and back to her sleep.

The next morning, they packed their belongings and go to the train station. Eunbi sits with Shijin and Song joo.

"Eunbi ah are you okay?" Songjoo looks worried.

"I'm fine. I have a good rest last night." Eunbi said

"That's a relief." Songjoo said

"Ya. I never know that Gong Tae will be that reliable. He so panicked when he knew that you hadn't back. He even refuse to give up looking for you." Shijin said

"And even after he found you, he didn't leave you, not even for a second. He hadn't ate dinner and I bet he really exhausted." Shijin said

"Really?" Eunbi said

"First he helped me and now this. I see him in different ways now. Somehow he looks cool." Shijin said

"Hahaha. It sounds that you like him." Songjoo teases her

"Ya!" Shijin and Eunbi shout at the same time.

"Eunbi what's wrong?" Shijin asked. She and Songjoo look at her.

"Ani.."

She looks at her window seat while Shijin and Songjoo are talking. Somehow there's a warm feeling inside Eunbi heart.
