Everything falls silent and everyone is

shocked. Just moments ago was a moment of victory now its almost a tradegy. Vi falls to her knees and begins to break down in tears. She hyperventilates knowing he could be dead.

Fade touches her shoulder in an attempt to console her. She smacks her hand away and stands up.

V: Maybe we could have got him if you would have just let me get to him.

F: Kid Perfect Shadow would have killed you without any hesitation.

V: You act like im a weak little kid. I've gotten so much more skilled since the start of my journey.

Vi turns away from him and huffs in frustration. Something catches her eye, its Y/n's hunting knife. She walks over to it and carefully picks it up. She holds tightly on to it and puts it in her bag.

V: We have to keep moving if it weren't for him we wouldn't have gotten past the giant. The least we can do is attempt to stop Perfect Shadow.

She walks away from the group and everyone follows her. She walks briskfully and with a purpose. Everyone stays silent, not to sure what to say or do.

Everyone walks into Misty Meadows, the place is still a wreck from the monster that stampeded through there a few weeks back.

Something catches Vi's eye as it runs between the buildings. She holds her hand up to stop the group, and another figure jumps between the buildings.

A shrill screech cuts through the air and one of the survivors fall to the floor holding their stomach. 5 figures stand perched on the roofs and Vi readies the Crooked Claw. The creatures open their eyes in response to being challenged by her. Their pure white eyes enrage Vi she nocks and arrow and shoots it up at the creature.

It's tears the arrow out of its shoulder amd jumps down at Vi and Vi punches the creature out of the air. Another one jumps down and Fade quickly kicks it as it lets out a bone chilling scream.

The rage builds in Vi, the rage for all of Perfect Shadows minions and his wrong doings. She looks down at her fists and they spark with a pink energy. She punches on the creatures and it falls to the ground convulsing as the lighting crackles around its body.

Vi steps on the creatures head and it turns to ash with a final screech. The other ones scurry away before the group can get them to.

C: What were those things.

F: I dont know but we need to get this man medical attention.

The man still lays on the ground while people hold the deep gash together. Vi can tell by the wound he wont survive.

Rg: Please just kill me, i cant take it.

Everyone nods and one of the other survivors shoots him. Everyone hangs their head low out of respect and prepare to bury him.

*timeskip to after the burial*

After giving him a proper burial everyone finds a spot to lay at.

V: Alright, we need to keep two people to keep watch just incase those things come back.

Two scavengers volunteer and march the perimeter. Vi puts Y/n's knife pn the ground next to her and cries, wishing he was there to hold her after today's. events. She falls asleep with the memory of his face burned into her memories.
