"You wanna leave?" you sign to your boyfriend Ethan, he nods his head yes.

You and Ethan have been dating for 2 years now. He's deaf, and you learned sign language for him. It's hard sometimes, dating someone who's deaf, but you love Ethan. A lot.

It was the end of the school day and you and Ethan were hanging out with your friends. Since you were both bored, you decided to leave. You say goodbye to everyone and get on the bus.

You take your seats, "School was so boring today." You speak, but you don't sign. Ethan had told you he wanted to learn how to read people's lips, so not everyone had to learn sign language for him. He was so caring about everybody.

He took a while to figure out what you had said, then signed, "I know, I fell asleep in math."

You laugh. You then see that Katherine was also on the bus. Katherine was your best friend growing up, but then she cut you off. you haven't talked ever since. 10 years of friendship gone to waste.

Katherine was staring at you and Ethan, she definitely seemed jealous, but you continued to enjoy your time with Ethan.

The bus started coming to a stop and Katherine came walking up to the front of the bus, which was where you and Ethan were sitting. You assumed she was gonna get off.

Right before the bus stopped, she turned to Ethan, signed something to him, gave you an evil smile, and got off the bus. She obviously noticed he was deaf because you were talking to each other in sign language and she saw, but the fact that she had the nerve to actually sign something to him, pissed you off.

You knew how she knew sign language fluently. Her dad is deaf, and she's known sign language since she was 6. You however, weren't fluent, since you stared learning a year and a half ago, and had no idea what she said.

After Katherine was gone, you signed to Ethan, "What did she say?"

Ethan pulled out his phone and texted you,

💙💙She said "Why are you with her babe? You should hit me up sometime and I'll show you a good time."

Once you read the text, you were furious, and Ethan could tell. He then texted you,

💙💙Don't be mad, you could give me a way better time than she could ;)
