《Our Ancient Love》Chapter 27: Getting Ready

Saturday wasn't really as eventful as I expected it to, considering that I shared the news that I was pregnant. Everyone was just more cautious about me and wanted to keep me and my baby safe. To be honest, I really liked all of the attention.

Since me and Ahk had plans to go shopping with my parents, Larry let us leave early.

It was so early, that the sun wasn't even up yet so me and Ahk slowly walked into the house in fear that we would wake my parents up.

As soon as we make it into the house safe and sound, we tip toe up the stairs. We slowly go into my room and shut the door as quietly as possible. After that, we quickly get undressed and put on our pajamas, and then we jump into the bed and go to sleep.

*time passes*

"C'mon let's go! You have to wake up! We have a busy day today!" my dad shouts.

I slowly open my eyes and squint. "Ugh what time is it?"

"It's time for you to get up. Now let's go!". My dad leaves the room. I look over to my left and Ahk is nowhere to be found. I quickly sit up and jump out of bed. I walk out of my room and look at the bathroom door. It was slightly cracked open. I peer into the bathroom and there he was looking at the sink. I slowly push the door open, forgetting that it creaks whenever it moves. Ahk quickly turns to the door, seeing me.

"Good morning, my love," he mumbles. His mouth was full of toothpaste.

"Good morning. Since when did you get a toothbrush?"

Ahk spits the toothpaste into the sink. "Your dad said that there were some extras in the drawer so I just grabbed one. He said something about how I need to start taking care of my hygiene since I'm no longer dead."

"Yeah that's a good idea," I say as I grab my toothbrush. "Mind if I join?"

"Nope not at all. I'm done brushing my teeth anyways."

I chuckle and grab the toothpaste. I put a small amount of it onto my toothbrush and then put the toothbrush under some running water to wet it up. I start brushing my teeth and turn to look at Ahk, who's staring at himself in the mirror as he touches his hair in disgust.

I brush the rest of my teeth for a minute longer and then spit out the toothpaste. "Is there something wrong, babe?" I ask as I rinse out my mouth.

"Yeah it's just that my hair is dirty. It's never looked this dirty before, and I've been stuck in a tomb for years!"

"Well just like my dad said: you're not dead anymore. You're starting to live again so things like this will happen. You'll just have to wash your hair," I giggle.

I grab a wash cloth and run it under some warm water. I wipe my face and clean my ears as Ahk watches. Once I'm done, I rinse it off and hang it up. I find a clean towel in the cabinet and turn on the sink to get it wet. I wringe out the towel and walk over to Ahk. I wipe his face and clean behind his ears. Ahk stares at me intensely.

I slowly bring the towel down to look at him. He crashes his lips onto mine, which almost makes me fall back. I push him onto the wall so I can take control. He runs his fingers through my hair. I slowly lift up his shirt so I can touch his bare skin. About a minute later we stop and stare at each other while gasping for air. After catching my breath I lick my lips. "You taste minty."

"Yeah I kind of forgot to rinse my mouth," he laughs. "Well I better go jump in the shower. I don't want your dad getting upset at us for wasting time."

"That's true," I say. Ahk nods as he takes off his shirt. "Maybe that's why I should join you."

Ahk stops taking off his clothes and looks at me, his face completely red.

"I'm serious," I say as I start taking off my clothes. Ahk blinks at me, surprised at what I just said. I look at him like he's insane as I stand there naked. I roll my eyes and laugh and step into the shower. I turn it on as I stand under the warm water.

"Aren't you coming in?" I laugh. He takes a second to think before taking off the rest of his clothes. He quickly jumps into the shower, which scares me. I scream as he laughs.
