Larry, Teddy, Nick, and Ahk introduced me to the others. I met these two small little men named Jedediah and Octavius and a cute monkey named Dexter. Larry hates Dexter because he's so mischievous, but he's so adorable to me. I also met Atilla the Hun. He can't speak English so it was kind of difficult to introduce myself to him.

Apparently, me and Ahk were the talk of the museum. Everyone knew that we were together. I didn't think it was that much of a big deal, but I guess that it was since it was only my second day of working and I was already dating Ahk.

It seems crazy to me in some ways, but when I think of it, I feel like I've known him longer than two days. Like I've met him before, but I just can't remember when I did.

Anyways, the museum seemed a bit more chaotic today than usual, but with everyone's help, we were able to get everything under control. Before I knew it, the sun was about to rise again.

"I'm so exhausted," I say as I fall to the ground.

"It gets easier with time, my love" Ahk says.

I wipe the sweat beads from my forehead and stand up. I look outside and see that it was starting to get lighter outside. I look at Ahk and he smiles.

"I guess it's time for us to part our ways," he says.

"Yeah. It is," I say.

I look over and see Teddy getting on his horse while Larry is talking to him. Nick is walking Dexter, Sacajawea, and Atilla back to their places.

"Maybe I should walk to your tomb with you," I say as I grab his hand.

"Good idea," he says.

We quickly walk to his tomb just in case the sun rises while we're walking.

Ahk takes the lid off of his tomb and steps in. Before laying down he looks at me and smiles.

"Goodbye, my love," he says.

I blow a kiss at him and he lays down. I put the lid over his tomb and sigh.

I walk back to the front of the museum and Larry and Nick are waiting for me. The sun's brightness fills the room.

We walk out of the museum together. We part our ways once we reach the bottom of the steps.

"See you guys later," I say waving goodbye.

"Bye Y/N," Larry and Nick say in unison.

I walk to my car and get in. I put it into gear and drive off.

*time passes*

I yawn as I pull up to the front of my house. I walk inside and my dad is at the kitchen table reading a newspaper.

"Hey Y/N. How was work?" he asks not even looking up from the paper.

"It was good. I'm just really exhausted right now so I'll just go get some sleep," I say as I walk over to the stairs.

"Alright. I won't keep you waiting," he says as he takes a sip of his coffee.

I run upstairs and into my room. As I run into my room I trip over something and fall to the ground with a loud thud. I look over at my feet and see my dog, Sandy, laying down in the middle of the floor.

"Sandy!" I yell as I stand up. Instead of moving, she just yawns. I laugh and roll my eyes.

I quickly take off my work clothes. The cold necklace hits my bare chest. I look down and realize that I had it on the whole time. I had forgotten all about it. I guess I got used to it.

I put on a random t-shirt and pajama pants and jump into bed. I yawn, close my eyes, and go to sleep.
