"Do you think that's enough?" I asked Tom as he set up the last bit of fire wood. We'd been spending the last couple hours setting up a very large signal fire for when the next helicopter or plane that comes by the island.
"Should be." He dusted his hands off on his pants and sighed, "It's nice out, huh?"
"Mhm," I nodded.
"Wanna go for a walk? Through the jungle to explore or something?" He asked with hope laced in his voice.
I smiled, "Yeah, that sounds nice."

"So, do you do anything? I mean, hobby wise?" Tom asked as we were passing the lagoon.
"My dad used to take me fishing all the time." I smiled at the memory of him. "We would go camping every summer, it was always my favorite time of the year."
"Do you not go anymore?"
I took a deep breath and shook my head, "My dad died a few years ago."
Tom stopped in his tracks, turning to me with a sad look in his eyes. "Oh, I'm so sorry, Andy."
"It's okay, I've moved on from all that. My dad was a great person and I'm very happy to have the memories with him." I smiled, I didn't want the mood to die so I quickly changed the subject. "Do you have any hobbies or interests?"
Tom cleared his throat and continued walking, "I love acting actually."
"Wow, you're really pushing this whole 'I am Spider-Man' thing, aren't you?" I laughed and Tom rolled his eyes as he chuckled.
"Shut it, will you?"
I smiled, I was beginning to have these.. warm feelings whenever I was talking to Tom. Probably nothing.

Andy walked behind me, despite neither of having used any soap in a couple weeks, she smelled like flowers to me.. it was strange. This is strange, everything about this situation is strange. It's probably nothing.
