Tao lifted his staff, however feeling slightly weak from his wounds, redressed himself to prepare for this new commission of treasure, Tao left his room and stood next to Lao De Nu. The monkey towered over the short old woman and stared at the new client. A young man with loose robes, colorful and well kept was the young man but something was a little off with him. While Tao studies the man Lao De Nu was busy getting the knowledge of the artifact to be retrieved, Tao and the client locked eyes for a second or more before Tao's tail was pulled on by the short old woman standing next to him "It's rude to stare at our clients Shazi" I was about to lose it, I told her not to call me that again, I was about to leave then our client spoke. "Y'know, that isn't a very nice thing to call your workers, especially this one, I see something special in them, that's why I want them to retrieve this." The client held up a photo that looked like it was drawn by a five year old, nonetheless, it was a golden bangle with diamonds encrusted on it. "Seems like a simple treasure, I'll get going right away." I was eager to leave, now that I knew what I was looking for, this quest would be easy. Tao was out the door before the client could get another word out, this boy must've been an expert in this field, going before even getting any sort of knowledge from the client. "Do forgive Tao sir, he is brash sometimes but he is a good boy." "you should be asking me to forgive you ma'am, but don't worry, I don't hold that many things against people, especially when they don't know who I am" The young man laughed and pulled a snack bag seemingly out of thin air, he opened it, pulled out a chip and ate it. The old woman sneered and moved back to behind the counter, waiting for Tao to return with the treasure and receive her payment.

A Primeval Future
Follow the story of a modern caveman as he learns to survive, thrive, and shape his nascent civilization in a world yet untouched by man. Expect a focus on the nitty-gritty of primitive living, especially early on. I plan for this to eventually progressing to the settlement management and politics stage as people gravitate towards the one guy who looks like he knows what he's doing, but this will likely take some time. Despite the occasional system elements, skilling and levels will not be a part of this story. No shortcuts. There will be violence and there will be sexuality but there will be no sexual violence. I hate reading that crap and I hate writing it even more. This is my first serious foray into writing. I plan to put out at least 1 chapter a week, more when I can.
