The next Morning, A knock on their door disturbed the sleep of Shyam and Anjali.
Anjali groaned burying herself into her pillow, Shyam chuckled at his wife's childish behaviour and got up to open the door. Opening the door, He gritted his teeth seeing Subhadra Devi Malik standing in front of him.
“” Shyam's cold voice almost made Subhadra Devi flinch, but she composed herself quickly and forwarded a glass of milk towards him.
“” Subhadra explained the purpose of her visit. Shyam took the glass of milk and walked inside the room, Subhadra followed.
“” He asked turning towards the bathroom
“” Subhadra said confused at his sudden change in track.
“” Shyam said distaste dripping from his voice and went into the bathroom to drain the milk into the basin
“” Subhadra asked wide-eyed seeing his actions.
Shyam ignored her question and went out of his room gesturing her to follow him

“” Shyam shrugged nonchalantly.

A smirk appeared on Subhadra's face.
“” Shyam asked sarcastically, She shrugged.

“” Shyam started in a surprised tone, His voice turning strangely anguished towards the end.
Subhadra looked at Shyam confused, Shyam shook his head “” He said dismissively and walked away from her.
“” Shyam said solemnly.
It's short. But it's kind of important for it to be because.. If I had added anything to it, The update would've been a mess.
