The news was on, and everyone was scattered around the house.
"You guys did that?"
Ben looked at Druig, Y/N, and Phastos.
"I love you so much."
Phastos said with a mouthful of pizza.
Y/N got up from the couch.
She saw Thena sticking her fingers in a toaster.
"Uh..Thena.."
She moved her hand out of it.
Thena looked at her puzzled.
"Are you okay?"
Jack asked Thena.
"I get confused sometimes."
Thena stopped slouching.
"Yeah. Me too."
He reached for fruit.
"So, dad said you both are Y/N and goddess Athena."
"Thena. Drop the A."
She corrected.
"Oh."
"Hmm."
"He's a kid, Thena."
Y/N tapped her shoulder.
"What are your super powers?"
He asked them.
Y/N picked up a glass and turned it into an orange.
Thena brought out her weapon and stabbed the one he was trying to reach.
Phastos got up from the couch.
"Um, can you just...Look...one second."
He set the plate on the couch next to Druig.
"Here, you can have them both."
Y/N handed one to Jack.
"Okay. Alright."
Phastos walked into the kitchen.
"See, that thing is...Okay.."
"Almost gave you a shave and a haircut, didn't she?"
Thena tilted her head.
"Stand behind me, actually."
"Um, you remember earmuffs? Remember how we practiced earmuffs? Thank you so much."
Jack covered his ears.
Phastos turned to both us of.
"You know that your babysitting privileges are completely revoked, okay?"
"I didn't do anything violent!"
Y/N said from behind Thena.
Phastos ignored her comment and sent Jack away.
"Violence is never the answer. Right, T? You gotta always use your brain, hmm?"
"Like you did fighting on the beach?"

Thena fought back.
"Your dad spoke calmly and firmly to the bad guy and he had to choice but to listen to me."
Phastos pointed at Jack.
"That's not what I heard."
Y/N out from behind Thena.
Makkari walked in.
"The kid is ten, not stupid."
She signed.
"When are you guys leaving? When is that happening? That's happening soon, right?"
Phastos signed to Makkari.
Druig got up from his seat.
He smirked at Phastos and stuck up his finger quickly.
"Ah, yes, there's Druig."
"Don't go anywhere near him."
Phastos told Jack.
"Awe, c'mon. He's harmless."
Y/N clinged to Druig's shoulder.
"I can't tell if that was an insult or not."
He looked at her.
"Figure it out."
Y/N teased.
——————————
We all walked outside.
"Okay, that's far enough, Jack."
Phastos stopped him.
"Wow, dad, the Domo's so cool!"
"Your dad fixed that with his bare hands."
"Can we go to space, too, one day?"
He asked.
"Let's wait till you get your learner's permit, okay?"
"Hey, Phastos."
Druig walked up to him.
"Take care."
"This world is lucky to have you."
"Thank you."
Phastos held his hand out.
"I know you're not a hugger, so..."
Druig took his hand, but then pulled him into a hug.
"Okay."
Phastos patted his back.
Y/N smiled.
"You think when we find the other Eternals out there, that they'll accept the truth the way we did?"
Druig asked his lover.
"Of course. Because the truth will set them free."
She grabbed his hand.
They got in the Domo and flew off.
————————
It's been weeks.
Makkari signed.
"We haven't heard from any of them."
"It's like...they've disappeared."
"Arishem."

Thena said with her arms crossed.
"We have to go back."
She stared at the hallway.
She pulled out her weapon.
Y/N sensed it too.
She grabbed whatever she could find and made a gun.
"I feel it, too."
Makkari signed.
"What?"
Druig was confused, eating something.
The hallway glew.
Thena, Makkari, and Y/N walked towards it.
Something flew out of it.
The three women were shocked.
It started laughing maniacally.
"Wow. Aah! My ears. My eyes are numb. No more drunk teleporting for you."
"Um.."
Thena attempted to speak.
"Hang on, hang on."
It stopped Thena.
"Ahem."
He imitated a fanfare.
"Behold, the royal prince of Titan, brother of Thanos, the Knave of Hearts. Defeater—"
"Thanos' brother?"
Y/N whispered.
"—of Black Robert."
"Roger."
The figure in the hall interrupted.
"Oh. Defeater of Black Roger. The great adventurer, Starfox of Mystery Planet!"
"What a pleasure to make your acquaintance, my fellow Eternals."
"You know you really don't have to do the whole thing every time."
"Everything you do is impressive. Am I gonna leave off the list—"
"No, I know it's impressive."
"Who are you?"
Thena asked.
"I'm Eros. This is Pip. And you are a beautiful as the legends say, Thena."
He complimented.
Druig walked over, putting his hands on Y/N's waist, hoping this stranger doesn't hit on his girl.
"What do you want, lads?"
He asked.
"Pip and I are here to help, aren't we?"
He pulled up a sphere, catching all of our attention.
"Your friends are in big trouble."
"And we know where to find them."
He smirked.

Dear Spellbook (Link to rewrite in blurb)
A rewrite of this story has been posted here: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/49881/dear-spellbook-a-fantasy-time-loop-rewrite Live. Study. Repeat. Tal is a sorcerer in a world where they are killed on sight, traveling with a man charged with carrying out the task. Every night Tal must pretend to study his spellbook to maintain his disguise as a Wizard’s Apprentice. If his disguise slips and his charade is uncovered, it will be his death. Seeking answers to mysteries that arose after his parent’s murder, Tal must accept any allies, no matter the risks, to uncover his family’s secret. But when he wakes up one morning to find himself trapped repeating the same day, he has to overcome his challenges all on his own. This story is an adaptation of a D&D campaign I ran but never was able to complete. I tried to capture the feel of a table-top RPG session —tropes and humor— without relying on the mechanics. This is not a litRPG or gamelit story and no D&D mechanics or system appear in the game. It follows one member of an adventuring party as he deals with the problems with that arise from being an adventurer. Namely, getting roped into adventures. The story has a time loop element, but will eventually move past that. This story explores the magic systems, the history, and the lore of the world through the lens of Tal's entries in his Spellbook and interludes from other written works in the world. New entries on Mondays Credit to JackOfHearts for the cover.

Restaurant Core
A dungeon core that wants to feed others instead of itself. Can this dungeon overcome its challenging start in a goblin cave? Will it achieve its dream of being the ultimate restaurant or will it be forced to concede to its own nature as a dungeon core? Follow Regis the dungeon and his loyal hobgoblin servant Strum in this dungeon's quest to become the one and only Restaurant Core. I started this to give me a more humorous character-centric narrative to explore. I also wanted to poke fun at the typical dungeon core story by turning it on its head. Who knows, maybe you'll learn a recipe or two from it. Hope you enjoy!Updates at least once a week. Special thanks to Asviloka for so much help in the art direction of the cover. Much love to her. And some thanks to carebear90 for their invaluable input during the process. Asviloka's profile: https://www.royalroad.com/profile/108594
