Y/N's POV

I was staring out the window in our school bus early in the morning. When we arrived in front of the school, I saw vendors selling flowers, teddy bears, and other more stuff. I thought about the date today and remembered, it was actually White Day today.

I don't expect anything special today. It's not like someone likes me since I don't get close to guys. "Hey Y/N!" Someone called out my name as I stepped out of the bus. "Hi Y/F/N." I waved at her and we both went together.

"Do you think he'll give me something today?" My friend asked. I thought why not; even though if they are an unknown couple in the whole batch, so why not? And I knew she was talking about her boyfriend.

We went in the classroom and I sat down. I saw a lot of my classmates bought flowers and other stuff, and I'm here sitting lonely in my seat. I saw Chan, one of my close friends. Well, he looked quieter than before because he always would at least have a short talk with someone close.

Since classes were about to start, I fixed my things then someone put a rose on my desk. "Here you go. My crush denied me." My seatmate was the one who put the rose on my desk. I tried to put it back in her seat but she keeps putting it on my desk. So I ended up keeping it.

At lunch, everyone started to run out of the classrooms and I was just sitting in my seat checking the schedule. Since a lot of people left there were only around 10 people in the classroom.

Someone passed by my seat, it was Chan. He was hiding his hand at his side holding a bouquet of flowers. He was signaling me to get it, I think so. I grabbed it and we kind of looked awkward at the moment. Then he left rushing out of the door.

Wait, I think the rumors true.

I'm just walking around the classroom doing nothing, like always. Then I heard someone say "You like Y/N? Woah that was so sudden." I realized Subin was talking to Chan and I ran off looking natural as possible because they might notice me.

"Hey who gave you that. That's the most expensive one that they were selling." My friend suddenly popped out of nowhere. "What, really?" I realized how he really likes me.

I mean we always get shipped like when we would be just walking around and talking, our classmates would spot us and would react. I know we are friends but I also don't want to hurt his feelings.

"Don't tell anyone, okay?" I whispered. "Sure." "It's Chan," I said in the most inaudible voice I have. "Hey, everyone. Chan gave flowers to Y/N!" She screamed it. So, I'm dead.

I ran out of the classroom and saw Chan outside talking to his friends. I didn't want us to feel awkward so I had to walk past his back and I grabbed his hand to an empty room.

"About the flowers, I heard it was expensive, and I know that you like me. Right?" I explained. "Uh, y-yes," he said stuttering. "I don't want to hurt your feelings but can we take time to know each other? I feel weird about what might happen. Can we do it slowly?" I asked him seriously. "You know what, you're right. It's fine by me." He agreed with me.

I was so thankful that he understood me because it would be really hard to accept him. And so, we got to know each other better. The good part, we became the most shipped couple in the whole high school level.

A/N:

fun fact: this is based on a true story (BRUH) *mindblown* well not all but this is just the good side of the story because what really happened in real life, it didn't work out (sad :-(, IM ONLY 12 DON'T JUDGE MY LOVE LIFE) good day~
