Seungsik's POV

I was in the studio practicing alone. The other members already left just a few minutes ago. It was almost midnight. I remembered Y/N and I called her, no one picked up.

She might be asleep at this hour, I thought.

I went home seeing Y/N fast asleep on the couch from waiting for me. She would always wait for me, but she ends up sleeping.

I wrapped a blanket around her and kissed her forehead and smiled.

I went to our room and dropped my things on the floor.

Why does Y/N always wait for me even if she knows I go home late?

Y/N's POV

I woke up on the living room couch. As I stood up, something caught my attention; a note. It was pinned on the cabinet.

I read the letter and it said:

Y/N, I'm sorry. Our practice is very early today. I cooked omelet rice for you. It's on the table.

I didn't know if I should smile or frown. He would always leave something for me but would also only think of practice.

Seungsik's POV

I was in the practice room with the others. While we were dancing, I kept thinking of Y/N, if she's okay. I kept doing the same things for her every day and I don't think it's something to be proud of.

"Seungsik," Seungwoo called and everyone stopped. "Uh, why did we stop?" I asked. "You got the move wrong," Sejun informed me. "Oh, sorry." I apologized. "Let's start over," Seungwoo said.

"Wait." Chan stopped us. "What?" I asked. "Is something bothering you Seungsik? Be honest," he asked curiously.

"Actually, there is. I'm sorry." I looked down.

"I won't ask. You never made this much mistakes before." Chan comforted me.

"You know what? Whatever it is, solve it now if you can. Because you can't practice if you can't focus well." Seungwoo insisted.

"Really?" "Yes. You might run out of time, it's almost midnight." Sejun said. "Thanks," I said and grabbed my stuff.

I ran out of the building and I wanted to make sure she wasn't asleep yet. While I was running home, I called her and she picked up.

"Seungsik?" She answered. "Don't sleep yet, I'm coming home," I said and hung up while running swiftly.

I arrived in front of our house and unlocked the door. I was panting really hard and Y/N was staring at me with a shocked expression.

"What happened?" She asked.

"I'm sorry, Y/N." I apologized in between my breaths. "Did I do something?" She asked without any clue.

"I always leave early and come back late despite practice. I really missed you, your voice and everything. I'm such a terrible boyfriend and for someone precious like you, you shouldn't live like this." I said.

"Seungsik, I would've been mad at you. But I don't want to see you like this. I still forgive you." She said sincerely.

"Wait, you forgive me?" I asked.

"I know it's hard for you. But promise me to make it up to me." She said. "I don't know if I can but I'll try my best," I said feeling unsure.

"Promise?"

"Promise." She smiled at me and hugged me.

Y/N's POV

"Let's stay like this for a while" I requested. "Sure," Seungsik said.

I miss him—his scent and his kindness. I'm so happy that we're starting again. I finally got my old Seungsik back.
