《Fuck Off | Slashers》Chapter Eighteen -:- Down to Clown

I was in a rush today, I had to pick up my daughter in fifteen minutes from daycare- then I had to finish up some work. I was around 20ish minutes away from the Daycare so I pick up the speed not wanting to be late to picking up my girl.
I pull up only to see the few kids left playing in the gated park, while the teachers from the daycare talk amongst themselves keeping a lenient eye on the kids. My girl was no where to be seen causing me to into a panic.
I rush up in a quick sprint to the teachers, the one noticed me. She was my kids teacher, she nods over to a park of the gate where my little girl was crouch and what seemed to be talking to herself while drawing in the dirt?
"Alicia!" I mumble as I pulled her into my arms, I was kneeling. Those five seconds I was terrified my daughter was gone- I couldn't imagine my life without her, she's literally my whole world, sun and moon.
"Mommy- this is penny." She squeals motioning to the sewer drain on the other side of the gate, "he's my new friend." I could tell by her smile she was happy and full of brightness. I had thought she was talking about an imaginary friend, but when I turned my head I noticed there was something actually there, Literally Nightmare Fuel.
"Pennywise the dancing clown!" He whines out correctly, my smile fell slowly but surely. I mean I have met my fair share of monsters- me being one but nothing like this ever... He's like a child himself- or at-least he acts like one.
"What- What are you doing in the sewers?" I ask confused, his head tilts as my surprisingly calm and normal face and attitude at this whole situation- his sharp teeth now showing. This thing is definitely not human...

"His mommy left him here." My daughters face falls as she explains, or supposedly explains why he's in the sewers. I don't trust him...
"Awe what's with the long faces?" He asks, reaching his hand out and placing against the fence my daughter immediately reaches her own out to place on top of his own imitating his movements. I pull my daughter away, scared of what this thing could do.
"Well I'm sorry 'Pennywise' but we must go, I have some work I have to get finished." I explain coming up with a excuse, that's not really an excuse because it's true but whatever. Anything to get my baby away from him.
"But Mommy!" My daughter starts in protest, tears building up.
"Yeah, but mommy- you can't leave." He mocks my daughter, I gulp. I don't know what type of threat this thing will be- I have to play this smart.
"You could always see each other tomorrow.." I trail off, not exactly knowing how to handle this situation. This can be tomorrows problem- I really have work piled up. I've been going out more nights than usual- neglecting my work duty's.
"Okay mama." My daughter pouts in defeat, i sneak a glance back at the clown to see his eyes a light blue making my own head tilt, o felt weird looking at him- and I didn't know how to think of it. "Bye Penny-" she sighs finally Turing to face her newly found friend.
"Awe- bye Licia." He sighs looking very sad making me almost feel bad if I weren't worried about my only babies safety. Alicia holds out her hand waiting for mine to intertwine with hers. I grab her hand gently before we take our leave. We make it to the car and the whole way I felt eyes on me.

Once she was safely I'm the back seat I climbed in myself ready to get home, reaching the house it was around five: thirty. Alicia ran up the stairs, Jenifer offered to give her a bath, Hannibal offered to make her dinner I only agreed when he agreed to make her real animal meet rather than human, and than Jennifer is going to put her to bed if I'm not done by then of course.
I pull out my laptop to start working, o was working on a article about missing children from toddler ages all the way to the teens. It was freaky maybe that's why I was so guarded and scared earlier because i could fantom the worries of being a parent and their child going missing.
It was around 8, Jennifer would've put my girl to bed already so I decide to grab a quick meal before taking a shower. As I walk to my room I hear a giggle that sounds much like my daughter. My face turns into one of confusion before pale-ing when I opened her door.
The clown- my house- my daughter. My thoughts race as I rush into the room and push my daughter behind me. I was in protective mom mode, and I wasn't backing down. My ground was being stood and I wasn't scared of getting hurt in the process.
His eyes turn blue once again when he sees me confusing me greatly, what are up with his eyes.
"Mommy- Penny came to visit us." She squeals clearly in excitement, not noticing my face.
"Well little miss it's past your bedtime, and besides me and 'Penny' have things we need to talk over." I speak out sternly before grabbing Pennywise's arm and holding it in a tight grip holding it to my side.
"But mommy-" she tries to protest, she's been doing that a lot lately.
"No buts- bed now." I command making her get in bed right way, I pull away from Pennywise before walking to my daughter. "Goodnight Baby Girl, mommy loves you." I whisper to her before leaning down to kiss her head.
"Night Mommy, love you too. Night Penny." She speaks before turning over in the bed to face the wall. I sigh hoping she wasn't mad at me, I didn't want her to be mad at me- I'm just trying to protect her.
"Night kiddo." His voice speaks softly making me wonder, what the hell is going on. I grab his arm dragging him to my own room.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I ask sternly just wanting a answer.
"I couldn't get you out of my head, and I'm severely hungry." He speaks my face turns into one of confusion, hungry? "Oh I mean- you daughter is a lot like Georgie, he was delicious." Making my mouth drop open, another cannibal, damnit how many are there? "Close you mouth darling, before someone puts something inside of it." He speaks flirtingly.
"Please leave her alone, I'll do anything." I speak out, it's true I'd do anything and everything for her. She deserves the world.
"Of course darling, there was no doubt that she'd be off my list after I met you." He speaks before stepping a step closer somehow his tall form now towered me, "but you have to tell me, are you down to clown?" He asks confusing me, my head tilts.
Was I down to clown, or whatever that meant.

A King in the Clouds
Tanlar. A cruel, repulsive, and foul word. It meant untitled, officially, but it also meant ungifted, unable, unworthy, unnecessary, unhuman. It was more a curse than a term, a badge only the damned and condemned wore. To be a tanlar was to know your life, your entire being, was insignificant. Once Kaizer had resigned himself to such a fate, but those times had passed. He may have been untitled, but he was anything but untalented. He refused to scrape by at the bottom of society. Those who stood above him could sneer all they liked, but he wouldn’t suffer being stepped on for long. He’d be better, much better. But of course he would be. ‘Fate’ demanded it so. [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] What To Expect: The story of a boy becoming a man becoming a king + everything that entails.
