《Ninjago Perfect Match Boyfriend Scenarios--Jay》Happily Ever After

"We did it! We're actually married oh my gosh I can't believe it this is the best day of my life pinch me I'm dreaming—"
"Jay, Jay, calm down," you tell your husband with a smile. "We haven't even started the reception yet."
"Yes we have," Jay points out. "Cole has the music going. That means the reception's started."
You glance behind you at Cole, who shrugs sheepishly. "Actually, I think he's right," he says. "We've got the music playing and people are eating refreshments, which I guess means the reception is started. By the way, are you guys going to cut the cake now?" His eyes light up when he asks about the cake, and you can guess where most of it is going to go.
Jay looks at you and shrugs. "He's got a point, for once. We should do that."
"Hey!"
"No arguing, you two," you scold. "This is a good day. I'll get a knife and a plate."
By which you mean you're going to blow them across the room with your powers and catch them without moving from your spot. You do that and then lead the way to the cake. Jay mumbles something that sounds like "I married the most amazing person on the planet pinch me I'm dreaming," then follows behind you.
"Hey, guys, we're going to cut the cake," you call. Someone pauses the music and everyone troops over to the table where the cake is sitting. You look around to make sure everyone's there, then frown when you realize someone's missing. "Where's b/f/n?"
"Ssshe fell asleep a few minutesss ago," Slithraa volunteers. "Ssshould I go wake her up?"
You think about that for a minute. "Nah, let her sleep. We'll save her a piece of cake. Besides, if we wait any longer, Cole might die of hunger."

Cole's stomach grumbles loudly, as if in response. "Shh!" he whispers to it. Everyone else laughs.
Jay places his hand over yours so you're both holding the knife. "Okay, one, two, three," you count, and then you and Jay press the knife into the cake together and cut out a slice, then carefully slide it onto the plate you grabbed earlier.
"Congrats on being married!" Dareth yells, ruining the moment again (or making it better, depending on who you ask). O/b sniffs and tries to wipe his eyes without anyone noticing while y/b pretends to cough into his fist to cover how choked up he is. Your brothers may act tough most of the time, but even they can't keep from showing how much they care about you. You can see b/f/n sitting in a chair in the background, snoring softly. There'll be time to catch up with her later. After flying across Ninjago to see your wedding, she deserves some sleep. Slithraa looks excited to try cake for the first time while laughing and talking with the people around him as though they've always been good friends. Nya is beaming proudly, and it's hard to believe that you tried to hate her once when she's turned out to be such a great friend.
With the official cake cutting over, Nya takes over handing out cake so that you and Jay can enjoy your shared slice the same way you're going to enjoy the rest of your lives—together.

Syche: The Dark Element
In a modern world where the four elements (no, not those elements; don't stop reading yet) are controlled by the select few born with the gift, seventeen-year-old Joshua Rasgard is horribly, painfully normal. And that’s not changing. No really. He survives by his wit and acute knowledge of how adventures should go, unlike his younger brother Kael who would rather disintegrate his problems to ash. Together, they're on a globe spanning treasure hunt that is about to take a dark turn. While hunting for clues, Joshua decides to rescue an ex-superpowered-assassin named Gianna. Doing so puts a target on all of their backs and thrusts them into a global conflict not unrelated to the treasure hunt. The one thing Joshua knows is that he is out of his element.
