I turned around to find the young boy looking in my direction.
"Hey, I'm sorry, I didn't want to wake you up," I said quietly, slowly making my way towards the door again. "It's okay; I knew you were behind the wall," the boy commented. I turned my head around quickly, shocked by the information. His face laid a large smirk. My cheeks began to burn up, embarrassed I was caught.
"You did? I'm sorry, I was looking for my sister, Padme," I mumbled, almost stumbling on my tongue.
He looked surprised. "Padme? I didn't know she had a sister," he sat up, taking the small red blanket that was given to him off. His body slowly moved in my direction.
"I'm Anakin. Anakin Skywalker." he smiled. He stuck his small arm out, wanting to shake hands. It was the first time I noticed his eye color. They were a shade of dark blue, and his hair was dirty blonde. His cheeks were a light pink, and his nose was a bit red from the cold.
I hadn't noticed it was my turn to talk until he coughed slightly. "uh, sorry, my name is Y/n. Y/n Amidala," I shook his hand, and he slowly walked back over to where he was sitting.
"Why is the ship really cold?" Anakin asked. His whole body was shivering. He drew his hands together, attempting to get them warm.
I laughed and moved slowly to him. "Space can be freezing. You'll get used to it, hopefully." I motioned to his actions, warming up my hands the same way he did.
"What's it like? Being away from home," he asked, confused, his gaze wandering around the ship. "Well, sometimes it feels lonely, but when you visit other places, it replaces the feeling of missing home," I replied.

"What about the city?"
He was messing around with his thumbs.
"Cities are big. Unlike Tatooine, it's mostly chaotic. I'm from Naboo, which is peaceful and beautiful. I'm sure you will love it there." I smiled, trying to make light of the conversation.
"I'm gonna train to be a Jedi, you know," Anakin says, smirking. I gave him a warm smile, which he returned.
"I will be the most powerful Jedi ever" he looked confident, and somehow I believed he would. "Power isn't everything, Ani." I calmly say. I sat down, sitting across from the boy.
"Ani?" the boy asked. His cheeks lit a slight pink.
"I'm sorry, I could call you some-" I began to talk until I was cut off short.
"There you are! I was worried you had jumped out of the ship." Padme shouted. I felt the embarrassment once again.
"Well, I don't mean to intrude, but I think we should let Anakin get some sleep."
I nodded.
"I think so too," I say back and make my way to the door with Padme following behind.
"Goodnight, Y/n. Sweet dreams," Anakin shouted, making Jar Jar twitch in his sleep. I slightly laugh at the view of Jar Jar almost slipping out of his chair.
"Goodnight, Anakin," I shouted back as the doors began to shut. Padme looked over her shoulders, looking down at me. "I think you and Anakin will be great friends," she said, giggling under her breath. I nudged her side slightly, making her laugh more and louder. We headed straight to our room for the night.
