Gods it's cold! I shivered in my state of extremely light sleep, which I only got when I had nothing to warm me up, and that often took quite a lot, so Will and I slept with five different blankets. But tonight I slept with none. Sleepily, I opened my eyes to find Will, with all the blankets piled around him. I rolled my eyes, but I was too cold not to tug the covers back over me a bit and snuggle into Will's bare chest, which was warmer than the blankets.
"Told you I could get you to cuddle with me." He whispered quietly.
"You cheated," I whined. "But right now, I'm to cold to really care." I snuggled my head against his chest. Smooth and warm. He ran his fingers through my hair, as he always does. This time, I didn't mind, and actually leaned into the touch.
"I love you, Nico. Go to sleep now." He murmured.
"Mhmm...I love you too, Will." And then I was gone. Asleep. And not the frigid, half awake kind, the cozy, safe, warmest sleepy ever kind.
