(Yugi's POV)

After waking up, I knew something was wrong. My Millennium Puzzle, which I always kept on, was missing. "Yami? Yami! Where are you?!" I shouted, terrified.

"Ahh, hello, Yugi. How was your sleep? I hope you liked it because it's going to be the last thing you remember!" Yami shouted from an unseen place and a monster emerged.

"W-What are you?" I questioned the monster.

"I am Zork, King of Darkness. Or, as you knew me, Yami. I am here to destroy you puny humans! Now, I use my infinite power to summon the three Egyptian God cards! Obelisk the Tormentor, Slifer the Sky Dragon, and the Winged Dragon of Rā!" Zork/Yami yelled. A huge blast erupted and I was inside of Zork, and staring at a darker version of Yami.

"Ah, it seems that you are more powerful than I anticipated. Since you're here, let's play a game to decide the fate of the world. You humans call the game 'Duel Momsters'. Also, you may call me by my true name; Atem," Atem/Yami replied.

We started playing, and, with the help of my friends' memories, I defeated the embodiment of evil. Once I got you the real world, I used the Millennium Puzzle to seal Atem and Zork away. I then vowed to keep it safe, in the Shadow Realm.

*Many years later...*

(Bakura's POV)

It was the summer solstice, and I heard a creek above my bedroom. I quietly walked up into the attic, and saw a short boy in a rocking chair with a strange triangular pendent, surrounded by darkness. I walked up and the pendent changed into a ring shaped pendent. I grabbed it and the boy looked up in fear. After putting it on, a strong voice said, "The prophecy has begun."
