(Yugi's POV)
I was in class when Teá asked the teacher if, as class representative, if she could discuss the theme for our class, Class-B. "Okay, everyone, any ideas?" Teá asked us.
"How about a Haunted Mansion?" a male classmate asked.
"Class-C already did that. Any other ideas?" Teá asked. Hanasaki raised his hand. "Yes ,Hanasaki?" Teá asked politely.
"A, uh, comedy manga dojo?" Hanaski said, and everyone glared at him.
"I'll write it, since it fits. How about you, Yugi? Any ideas?" Teá asked me.
"I do have one idea;a 'Carnival Game'! Like an amusement park!" I said cheerfully, and everyone agreed.
"It's decided then, we'll build a 'Carnival Game'!" Teá said, smiling kindly.
After some small debates, we picked three good games: "Human Pop-the-Pirate", Bottle Throw, and "Target Practice".
We were almost done with preperations, when a student from class-D named Inogashira Gorou walked up to our location. "What do you brats think you're doing here?!" Inogashira asked.
"Huh? Preparing for the festival, of course." Teá replied.
"You're joking! Every year for the past three years, class-D had used this spot for our festival event!" Inogashira shouted.
"Uh-oh...Yami, if I get hurt in any way, then take over my body," I thought.
"Yes, Master," Yami replied.
"We've already marked it! We hope this spot in the lottery, fair and square!" Teá shouted at Inogashira.
"Fair and square...HAHAHAHAHA!
LOSTEN CLOSELY! Every year, we come to this spot to cook okonomiyaki! It's a tradition! Take this stupid 'Carnival Game' trash somewhere else!" Inogashira yelled.
"Hey you! BEAT IT! Time for the festival brawl! You'll be sorry you picked a fight with us! I'm gonna out that high mouth of your's! And then---uh-oh...I'm stuck..." Joey said, failingto get out of a 'Pop-the-Pirate' barrel.

"Go die!" Inogashira yelled while punching Joey.
"No, Joey!" I yelled, enraged.
"User the iron plate to tear down their attraction!" Inogashira yelled and his goons complied.
"Stop! Get the hell away from our 'Carnival Game'!" I shouted, and charged Inogashira. All it took was one punch and I was knocked out.
(Yami's POV)
*Later...*
I woke up in the infirmary and used my shadow powers to make sure that Inogashira-san would be at the 'Carnival Game' spot, and I ran towards said spot.
*Later...*
"Hello, Inogashira-san. Since you stumbled apon the mental territory of me and my friends, we shall play a shadow game. It's called...'Deadly Ice hockey'! We use these spatulas as rackets and push this lump off ice, with gunpowder solution in the middle, as the puck. And since the iron plate is heated, if the gunpowder touched the iron plate it will explode. The loser dies, and the winner gets this spot. Ready? Game start!" I shouted and the game begun. After almost fifteen minutes of the game, Inogashira-san lost and died. I then returned my Master's body.
(Yugi's POV)
*The next day...*
Thanks to Yami, we were able to continue our plan and we won a first place ribbon.

[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Author's Note: Dungeons are Bad Business (DABB) is a slow burn slice-of-life dungeon core litRPG citybuilder that's focused on the day to day experience of running a dungeon. There will be some action, but it won't be the focus of the story and Vee and his friends will usually overcome their problems with their minds and their pocketbooks instead of their weapons. Since I'm participating in the writeathon, I will probably be uploading chapters almost daily for the duration of the event. Thanks for reading!
