The Naboo ship landed in one of the large dome parking spots on the outskirts of Mos Espa. Wordlessly, Anakin got up from the pilot seat as you glanced over at Artoo, who let out a soft beep. Anakin hadn't said a word since you all had left Naboo. You were very worried about him. The concern about his mother and torment from it was greatly effecting him.
You walked over to him as he put on his Jedi robes. You both decided it was best for you to still not dress in your Jedi robes. Therefore, you were wearing a pale blue fitted bodice. It formed a V-neck as it wrapped around your chest and formed a draping hood and a cape that had a point that reached the back of your knees. The edges of the cape were trimmed with and had decorations made with a silver cord that shimmered whenever light hit it. The fitted long sleeves were hidden by the cape. The rest of your bodice shirt was tucked into the long, matching blue skirt. The skirt gathered at the top and the front. It was held in place by a matching silver, beaded brooch. You wore pale gray matted boots that were hidden by your long skirt. Your hair was loosely curled and two small sections were gathered to form two small buns on either side of your head. The rest of your hair was pulled into a loose ponytail in the back, but your Palawan braid was left out.
You watched Anakin carefully as he got out the matching cloak of your outfit. It was a floor-length, matte pale blue with silver belt burnout pattern. He swung it behind your shoulders and it rested on your shoulders as Anakin moved his fingers towards the buttons of the cloak that was by your throat. He paused as he reached down and grabbed your necklace. He rubbed his thumb over the engravings of it, his mind empty as you searched through the Force Bond. Anakin's mind was only filled with worry as he absentmindedly fiddled with your necklace.

Ani?
Your voice echoed in his mind, bringing him back to reality. Anakin looked down and met your eyes as you looked up at him. He let go of your necklace. It gently thudded against your chest as he fastened the cloak and pulled up the hood of it, completely covering you.
"Sorry, just..." Anakin trailed off. He looked away shamefully.
"It's okay. I understand.'' you reassured him. He sucked in a breath as he nodded his head gratefully. "We are not disobeying your orders to protect me." you added. If you could ease his worries about you, you will at least do that for him.
"I just keep thinking what would Master Obi-Wan say about this. Or Master Windu." Anakin admitted truthfully.
"You are still protecting me, even right now. As long as I am with you, you are obeying your mandate." you reminded him. "I guess we won't tell Master Obi-Wan or Master Windu, will we?"
Anakin perked up and gave you a small smile as you felt his hope and confidence replace the concern and torment. An uneasy feeling passed through you as you fully realized the effect you had on him. The frightening idea of how much power you had over Anakin. It only took a word or two from you to restore his confidence. You wondered if Anakin had as much power over you as you do him. But you brushed away those thoughts and feelings and were grateful you had put a wall up for that brief moment so Anakin didn't know that passing thought.
You returned the smile as you took ahold of his hand in yours. Anakin guided the both of you off of the ship as Artoo followed behind.
~
You and Anakin rode in a rickshaw that was driven by a droid through the sandy streets. Artoo trailed behind the rickshaw as you and Anakin looked around. Not much has changed in Mos Espa since the day you all left. It was livelier and busier than you remembered. The droid stopped in front of Watto's shop. Anakin swiftly got out and turned around to help you get down. He offered his hand to you, which you gratefully took.

"Wait right there." Anakin told the droid.
"Okey, okey." it replied before you and Anakin walked over to the shop together. Watto was sitting in front of the shop, working on a droid with three pit droids helping him. He was yelling at them in Huttese, which you were taught at the Jedi Temple and could understand now.
"No, not that one! That one!" he yelled in Huttese.
"Excuse me, Watto. Let me help you with that." Anakin interrupted in Huttese. Anakin grabbed the droid from Watto.
"What?" Watto replied rudely. "What do you want?"
You stayed silent as you watched the scene unfold in front of you. You knew it was best to let Ani handle everything and be there as moral support for him.
"Wait! You're a Jedi." Watto realized as Anakin fixed the droid. "Whatever it is, I didn't do it!" Watto panicked and fling the screwdriver around. It slipped his hand and hit him in the head. Watto grunted in pain as Anakin grabbed the piece he needed to complete the droid.
"I'm looking for Shmi Skywalker." Anakin said as he eyed Watto. Watto took a second to get a good look at Anakin and then turned to you. You knew he realized who you and Anakin were.
"Ani? Little Ani??" Watto questioned as he stopped speaking Huttese. He blinked away his shock. "Naahhh."
Anakin set the droid down and it whirred back to life and moved around the little area Watto was working at. Watto watched it for a moment before turning back to you and Anakin, who took a step back to stand next to you again.
"You are Ani! It is you!!" Watto laughed happily. You looked at him disgusted. He had no right to be so happy to see Anakin after how he treated him.
"You sure sprouted, huh? Wee-hoo!" Watto cheered as he stood up and flew up to be at Anakin's eye level. "A Jedi! Whattaya know! Hey.. maybe you could help with some deadbeats who owe me a lot of money..."
"My mother." Anakin replied sternly.
"Oh yeah.. Shmi.. She's not mine no more. I sold her."
"Sold her??" Anakin repeated. He shifted his weight as you felt him get mad. You placed a hand on his arm to remind him to stay calm. Anakin relax with your touch.
"Years ago." Watto began to explain. "Sorry, Ani. But you know, business is business. Yeah, I sold her to a moisture farmer named, uh, Lars. At least I think it was Lars.. Believe it or not, I heard he freed her and married her. Can you beat that, eh?" he chuckled at the end. You glanced over at Anakin, who was still processing everything.
We will find her, Anakin. Don't you worry.
You reassured him. Anakin glanced over at you.
We will. I'll be sure of it.
Anakin replied as he turned back to Watto. "Do you know where they are now?" he asked.
"Long way from here... Someplace over on the other side of Mos Easley, I think..." Watto answered.
"I'd like to know." Anakin said with a grim look on his face. Watto got the hint quickly and stumbled over his words as he answered.
"Y-yeah... Sure.. Absolutely.. Let's look at my records, huh?"
Anakin nodded his head before turning to look at you as you both followed Watto into his shop.
