Sorafell asleep on my lap, Hinata was to the right of me and was scrolling on her phone. I looked at a confused Itachi. He looked at me with the 'Explain please' face. Hinata noticed this face and sighed.
"Can you take him to his bedroom, upstairs and the second room to the right." Hinata asked.
I nodded and headed up to his bedroom. I opened the bedroom door, it wasn't a big room, but he was only seven. I looked at his twin bed, it was covered with a blue comforter. I removed the comforter and set him on the bed and covered his body with the comforter.
"I'm sorry... I should have been there for you...." I whispered as I removed a strand of hair away from his face.
I got up and headed towards the door, I noticed a small picture frame on his wooden dresser. I picked up the picture fame.
It was a picture of me and Hinata kissing at prom.
"I messed up" I told myself.
"Agreed." someone responded.
I turned around to see Hinata.
"Hinata..."

As Sasuke walked up the stairs with my angel in his arms. As they disappeared into his room I looked at Itachi.
"Well?" He asked.
"Me and Sasuke were together when we were younger... and um one day I figured out I was ya um pregnant." I took a deep breath.
"The day I was gonna tell him he.... he cheated... so I didn't tell him." Tears started to swell in my eyes.
Itachi leaned over and wiped my tear. "That idiot." He gave me a hug and I hugged back.
"It doesn't matter to me anymore." I responded.
"Why?"
"Because... he gave me the best thing in the entire world." I said giving my biggest smile.

"True, I am the happiest uncle in the world." He responded. He looked at the ceiling.
"So you must be her." He said rubbing his chin.
"Huh?"
"When Sasuke was younger and I was here, he would send me letters about someone special. You must have been the one who made him happy." He answered.
"Please forgive him." He said looking me dead in the eyes.
"I will."
I got up from the couch and headed upstairs. I opened the door to Sora's room.
"I messed up." I heard Sasuke whisper. He was looking at a picture I gave Sora.
"Agreed."
"You messed up, but at the same time you gave me a blessing." She said looking at the sleeping Sora.
"I'm sorry... if I didn't mess up I would have been there for the you two." I grumbled, I looked at the ground and clenched my fist.
"How about we talk" She suggested.
I nodded.
Itachi had left and we were sitting on the porch.
I looked at Hinata, she was staring at the stars.
"The stars are beautiful today." Hinata whispered.
I looked up at the night sky. "Not as beautiful as you." 'Corny', but true' I thought.
She was flustered, but her blush toned down as she gave me a smile that made me fluster.
"You changed my life Sasuke." She said as she fiddled with her fingers.
"You changed mine... you made me feel whole, you completed me. I regret everything, cheating on you, losing you, and not being there for him." I looked down, tears were swelling. It had been a long time since a tear dripped down my face. The last time was when I was on my way to America. I felt the same tears from so many years ago fall down my face, but someone wiped them away and give me a hug.

"Hinata..." I whispered.
"It's okay... you're here now and that's better than never..." She said comfortingly.
I swallowed her small body with arms, I placed my chin on her head and closed my eyes.
We sat in a moment of silence, I moved my head and looked at the blunette.
"Hinata..."
She looked up into my onyx eyes.
"Yes..."
We were only inches away. I felt my cheeks heat up, with my courage I grabbed her chin with my index finger and thumb and kissed her deeply.

Beneath No Sky: Chronicles of the Atmospheric Sector
After bringing themselves back from the brink of annihilation, humanity's future seemed bleak. However, it's remnants, throwing aside the old order and donning a new mantle of progress aimed to rise above their ancient disputes and go forward as one. Once the Earth reached it's natural limit, and colonies around Terra and Luna had shown promising results, humanity finally decided to make the move to the stars. Believing this to be the start of a new age, they eagerly poured across the solar system and further beyond, greeting what space had to offer with hope and optimism. It was misplaced, however, for humanity's traditional quarrels soon resurfaced and engulfed a now interplanetary empire of many races. As the Earth Empire burned and an intense depression overtook the once optimistic people, some held out hope. They theorized that their problems were born of an inherent sense of home and, in order to rid humanity, now comprising of the Terrans as well as all the other known species of the galaxy, of this burden, decided to move far away from civilized space, into uncharted depths, to start anew. Some 200 years have passed since then, and those hopeful ones have finally found a place to settle on. Firmly planting their flag in paradise, they called this untouched land "Eden" and declared the beginning of a true new age, the age of After Eden.Trouble, however, seemed to still be hounding them, as barely three years after its founding, Eden finds itself at war with a seemingly uncommunicative and uncompromising enemy that far outclasses the odd pirates they were used to facing. A new era of peace, marked by an immediate conflict. Time will tell if Eden, the Grand Experiment, truly is as great as it's supposed to be. ---------------------------------------- This is a sci-fi, character driven, military space drama. Multiple POV protagonists and lots of unnecessary detail. Somewhat psychological. My first work on this website.
