《Hey Pretty Stranger Sal Fisher x reader x Larry Johnson》Chapter 2 - 6' feet Tall.

We finally arrived in Nockfell, well I wouldn't have known if my mother didn't wake me up when the plane had landed. Some how I was so tired that I slept for a whole 5 hours, but it's way better than being awake and bored for 5 hours so, I'm not complaining at all.
But, my father sure is.
We now stand outside the plane with our suitcases (me with a backpack aswell) and my dad is going off about how our cab is a little late, I don't know what time it is here but I know that it has to be around 11:30am by now or something and the cab was suppose to be here at 11am.
My mom is just trying to calm him down but he just lashes out at her every now and then, telling her not to tell him to calm down.
Like dude, be quiet, your wife is just trying to help you out so you don't get a heart attack. But I bet a this moment she wouldn't actually mind the chance of that happening.
Considering the very irritated look on her face as she glares at my father with ut-most hate.
I roll my eyes but as I look in the direction my eyes landed I see a cab coming our way, although I don't totally know if it's ours or not. Because there are many other people waiting for what I assume to be their own cabs aswell. But as the car stopped right infront of us, we knew it was ours. Obviously.
"Fucking finally!"
My dads yells profanity with an annoyed face.
"Tom!"
My mother yells towards my father.
I mean he did just curse infront of like 30 strangers...that's not a very good look on our family.
We all eventually get in the car, my father sits in the front whilst me and my mother sit in the back together.
My mother knows that I don't really get along with my dad, heck, my mother doesn't even get along with him 24/7.
So she knows I wont want to be stuck sitting with him for long periods of time. Or, at all, for that matter.
And boy do I appreciate it.
We sit in the car and I have my backpack on the ground inbetween both of my legs as I wait to arrive in my new home. Yay...
I know I should be happy, it's a 'fresh start'...in a new town, with no friends, and no family aside from my parents, and I'm pretty much now all alone.
So I kind of do have a reason to not be happy.
I keep thinking about how my new life in Nockfell would be, but my thoughts were cut off when my mom touches my shoulder.
I look at her and she begins a conversation.
"Are you okay?"
She asks worriedly. I look at her for a moment, wondering if I should tell her how I really feel or just lie.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
I lie, giving her a convincing smile.
"Are you sure? You look upset,"
"No, I'm fine. Well- I guess, it's just this whole moving thing. I don't really like it all."
"I know sweet heart, but think about it all positivly."
"How..?"
"Like, think of all the new friends you'll make! And maybe even a couple boys,"
My mom smiles and nudges my shoulder as she says the last part.
"Mom!"
I laugh and look away from her, she laughs with me too.
"What's going on back there?"
My father intrudes.
My mother looks at me and leans into my ear.
"Can I tell him what's bothering you?"
"Uh...sure mom."
Mother loves when I call her mom, it makes her feel like I trust her and more like shes apart of my life. I would call her it more often but dad doesn't really like it, and I have 'mother' ingraved in my mind.
She leans away from my ear, sitting back properly in her seat.
"She's a little iffy about this whole moving houses thing."
" 'iffy' ?"
My father repeats my moms words.
My mom glances at me then look back at my father.
"Yes, she doesn't really like it all-"
Before my mom had a chance to explain what she meant, my father cut in.
He flings his arm over the drivers head rest and turns his body and head to look at me.
'Oh no...'
"Your going to like it wheather you want to or not!"
He screams. I look at him with scared eyes, my mom notices and comes closer to me.
Jeez, whats up his butt.
My mom grabs my hand tightly for comfort and my dad scoffs as he sees it happen.
"Do. I. Make. Myself...clear?"
I sit and just stare at him, I'm scared. I always am when he yells at me but this time he's so close to me and that scares me even more.
"I said, DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!?"
He screams, I flinch and a tear begins to make it's way down my cheek as I quickly nod my head towards my father.
He stares at me for a little then sits back normally, my mom hugs my side super tight and I begin to quietly cry; squeezing my eyes shut.
"I'm so sorry baby..."
My mom whispers to me while kissing the top of my head.
Her voice cracks and I assume she's upset aswell, she's sad that her baby is so upset by her very own fathers doing.
I sit there crying into my moms arm and eventually I try to calm down, we've been in the car for about twenty minutes now. I whipe my tears with my hand and my mother kisses my forhead. She smiles at me, a sad smile.

I smile back.
"We're here."
The driver states, I look out my moms window to see a big building and a sign...'Addison apartments' it read.
The place looks run down and dirty, this is not the type of new home I thought my poche parents would invest in.
My mom quickly gets out of the car, making sure I follow behind her. The driver gets out and heads to the back to grab our suitcases that he had placed in there earlier.
He pulls them out and sets them on the road. I walk over and grab mine, my mom walks to me as I'm grabbing my suitcase and gives me a key.
"This is to unlock room 401, okay?"
"Okay, thank you."
I smile and begin to walk away with my stuff, repeating the numbers '401' in my mind over and over again so I wont forget it.
I strut through the entrence doors and walk into a lobby of sorts, except there is no receptionest and the place is kind of dirty but...clean?
I look to my right and see a woman, cleaning. Well that would explain it.
I ignore it and walk towards and elevator, I press the button that had the arrow that poiting up and just as I do so an electric blue haired boy walks through; bumping into me harshly.
"Ow..."
I mutter holding my head.
"Watch where your going."
The boy mutters.
"Hey! You walked into me. Blueberry head."
I retort back, Rolling my eyes.
"The fuck you just say?"
I finally look up at him and...wow...heh, hes tall. So tall that he towers over me greatly, has to be like 6' feet tall and is wearing a mask of sorts. His electric blue hair is long and it really compliments the whole mask thing going on as it drapes over his shoulders and his messy bangs drape over his mask. He's well built, but kinda scrawny and lanky. But all in all well built. He looks around my age but has the height of an adult.
He stares at me, waiting for an answer as he bends down to my height and stares through the dark eye holes of the mask. I can see that he has very bright blue eyes, but one almost looks...false?
"Uh-"
"Sal!"
The janitor lady calls over to him.
"How have you been? And oh- you must be one of the new residents?"
I look at her and stare for a minute before answering.
"Uh- yes, I am."
I reply, snapping out of my tranze.
"I'm Lisa, and you are?"
The women asks.
"I'm Y/N. N-Nice to meet you."
I smile nervously.
She smiles back at me. She looks like a real nice woman.
"It's nice to meet you too. "
The blue haired boy, who I now know his name is Sal, stands there glaring at me.
Lisa turns away from me and pulls out a key card from her pocket.
"Here you are Sal, don't lose this one."
She smiles lightly and I decide it's time to take my leave. I get into the elevator with all my stuff and push floor '4'. But just to my luck, as the elevator doors were an inch away from closing; someones hand slipped through and re-opened the doors once more. Sal.
I look behind him to see Lisa has now walked away. Oh no.
He walks in and the doors close. I'm leaning on the wall glancing at all the floor buttons. Not wanting to make any sort of communication with the blue haired boy infront of me. But I feel his glare burning into the side of my head.
It was so quiet that the silence was loud.
But a certain deep voice interrupted said silence, and that's when my heart started to beat quicker.
"Did you really think you'd get out of that this easily?"
Sal asked.
I didn't respond and kept looking away from him, what was I suppose to say to that?
The silence took over but not before I heard footsteps and then I felt a presence directly infront of me.
Sal grabs my face and forces me to look at him,
"I asked you a question."
I look at him with worried eyes.
"I-"
DING!
Thank god.
Sal glances at the floor number then looks back at me,
"Your not getting out of that stunt you pulled."
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN!?
I whimpered then gave an awkward smile. He lets go of my face but pushes it to the side as he does. I quickly grab the handle of my suitcase and leave the elevator as fast as I could.
The elevator doors close and I continue to speed walk towards my room number.
'403, 402, 401!'
I read the numbers as I walked along the hallway, I unlock my rooms door and quickly walk inside. I glance around and inside it's actually quite nice. A little dirty but nothing I can't clean. To my left is a kitchen, infront of me is the living room, and to my right is a hallway. I walk down the small hallway, it held 4 rooms, one being a bathroom and the others were just regular bedrooms. I look at all the rooms and decide which one I like the best, I chose the medium sized one. I would have chosen the biggest but I know my parents would need it more than me, considering they share a room.
I guess the smallest room would be used for an office or storage maybe.
I place my stuff down on the floor and see there is already hangers in my closet, so I guess I should begin to get my room set up. Even if it's just putting away clothes.

8 1827780, or: Children of a White Rider
As one war ends, another begins. The year Fastidious: 7780 marks deteriorating relations between the Siralians, devout sailors of the Ordos Canticula, and the Ardalians, matchless fire mages ruling neverending farmlands. In the shadows, Ardalian rebels successfully unlock an ancient magical gate. Their desire? A soldier, immutable, unstoppable, and enslaved. Eli Stuart and his fiancee Patricia Secord find themselves thrown into a strange world. Trapped in a land of hostile magic and alien politics, the two of them must use their newfound powers to make alliances, stop their enemies, and ultimately reunite. However, something goes wrong. In this chaos, as the world begins to unravel in foul ways, something else stirs. Something else found its way through. Author's Note: I will update this story as often as I can. I am quite busy and write this during breaks at work. This is one of those goon-squad stories with a million characters, so "dizzying" might be a good way to describe the energy. Much of what builds up to the first arc happens in the first ten chapters, which are quite long. For that reason, if you have difficulty getting through the story, I understand, though things don't really start happening until Chapter 8-10.

A quest that just might end up changing the fate of the entire world. ————————————————————————————————————- What do readers say about it? ————————————————————————————————————- "Aethernea is my absolute favorite read on wattpad, I love it as much as I love Harry Potter and The Mortal Instruments. You have such an amazing way to make the words flow and unbelievable descriptions. Unique characters and a great story line. All the small clues and mystery in the humor and fantasy just makes the book perfect in my opinion. I read all chapters in two days! Less than 48 hours even! I'm REALLY looking forward to the next update, the world of Aethernea is so deep and well thought out, it's beautiful and magical. God I can't believe how creative you are, so many small details with so many families and stories everywhere. Purely fantastical, I admire you." - astro-logical from Wattpad "I love love love Aethernea so much! It is amazing how you created this new world with different creatures, magics, looks, illnesses, and evil! I was blown away by your explanation of the Mana pools and how to weave magic! Simply stunning really! You are one of my favorite authors and Wattpad and I am so glad I stumbled upon Aethernea because it is worth all of my time reading!" - Adriana_V_Blade from Wattpad "I absolutely am loving Aethernea so far. I am certain you belong in the ranks among J.K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, Suzane Collinings, and many more great and wonderful authors. You opened up a whole new world for me, which only a few great authors have accomplished. While it's true I am pulled into each and every book, few are able to capture me to the point of inescapability. Though, somehow, you have managed this feat. I thank you for this and more! You are a wonderful author and can't wait for more to come!" - daughterofpercabeth7 from Wattpad "WOW! just caught Aethernea in gravity tales! Just when I was getting tired of most xianxia novels this appears and completely blows my mind! I really like the depth and the humorous touch you give the characters and it seems you have the storyline well thought out since you are always hinting about things in the past and the future. It has been such an enjoyable experience that I couldn't stop reading, finishing it in just one day and laughing my way through most of the episodes. But what keeps me so excited for what's coming is the magic system and the professions of the world you are creating. The magic mechanics have such a huge potential! They are simple but at the same time they open so many possibilities. Even though we still only understand the basics of transmutation and augmentation, I expect them to enable fights where there is need of quick thinking and skill, and not just brainless overpower of every opponent. In a way this makes me reminiscent about The Mistborn Series by Brandon Sanderson, which are one of my favorite series ever. The thing that sets Mistborn apart from any other series is that the mechanics are so well thought out that they could be used to create a super cool triple A video game and I cannot help but hope Aethernea reaches the same level or even surpass it. I really think it has that potential. Really hope this series gets the attention it deserves. As for me, Thursdays and Sundays just got a whole more exciting! =)" - AlexMLion "Your writing is fantastic and riveting, the chapters and character flow so smooth, and it captivates the reader with the many twist and turns that tricks one mind into thinking this is about to happen, when suddenly the exact opposite happens. You truly are in inspirational writer with a brilliant mind that can see and put words into chapters and into this one truly awesome book. Thank you!" - AshleyStaar from Wattpad "I loved this story, such detailed description and accurate words, both Kiel and Elaru completely caught my attention, your writing style is just beautiful and the plot is astounding and it's just the first episode! This kind of fantasy stories are my favourite, it has a lot of magic in it, rivalry and sense of humour." - BlackWhiteD from Wattpad

Blurb:Layla lives in a multi-planar universe where gods and superhuman immortals roam. Immortality is possible but only to those with money, power, and connections. Layla isn't worried about that, though. She's just trying to pay the rent. Robinhood style, of course. Atom is the self-proclaimed Mantle of Procrastination and good times. He Ascended from Earth a thousand years ago. A millennial NEET shut-in at heart, he enjoys video games and holo tube while spending time with his female companion, who does all his deific duties for him. Join the crazy adventures of a lazy God and his unwilling follower's rise to power. The first few Arc's of the story is an Academy arc. I think you will know if you like the story by chapter 6 as the first chapter may be confusing (or sucks, idk I like it so whatever)._________ The story is a slow burn. If you are expecting quick progression, I suggest looking at some of the other great stories on RR. I personally enjoy and Patreon several, but that's not what I'm writing. That might hurt my chances of trending anytime soon (or ever lol), but that is fine with me. I'm sure some of you will appreciate the story as much as I do in writing it. FAQ: The story has elements of xianxia and wuxia along with some GameLit (at some point). The story takes place in an age where tech has advanced to a complete integration with magic. Imagine everything running on mana or qi instead of electricity, and you will get the idea. There will be crafting but not until later in the story. It's actually a core plot elemenet for Layla. I'm writing this story for my own enjoyment and as a way of relieving stress in my life. I'm not a pro author or a naturally gifted wordsmith. I don't have beta readers and every chapter posted is a first draft. I'm still learning and will strive to improve as I continue the story. If you don't speak up I can't work on improving as an author. I welcome any criticism and encouragement that would help me become a better writer. I can't believe you read this far down! ;) Enjoy the story. --Cover Credit-- Cover art (emblem) by: Oxana Che Cover Design by: Miblart
8 202Disciple.
I was there before Death was born. I was there when the Sea of Chaos formed. I was there when the first universe was born. I was there when life appeared for the first time. I was there at the dawn of time, and will be there for its twilight. Long story short I am old and powerful. I would be called an Eldritch Abomination by many among you. This however is not my story. This is the story of my favourite human, a man who managed to surpass my expectations until the day of his death. A man to whom I personally taught the deepest secrets of Creation. The story of my Disciple, born to a world within the Fayd. A man who was called many names. Godkiller, Guardian of the Gates of Death, My Left Hand, Destroyer, The End by his enemies. That Crazy Dude by his allies. I call him Sam-Sam, mainly to annoy him. But primarily, this is a story of a man doing his life right. With all my wisdom I can’t think of him living a better life than he did, given his circumstances. So gather round, for the story of my dear friend. Not a litrpg.
