Orientation

Fish camp was finally here. It was a week out from my first day of college. I'm really excited to meet new people so I can have friends in my classes even though I have a pain in my chest and a tired body. I'll make it work!

We started fish camp in one of the auditorium on campus where a few of the teachers talked about campus rules and what dorm life would be like. It turns out that we will not be able to leave after 12 am or return after 1 am which had more than a few people groan. We also can't have loud parties but I saw a few guys shaking their heads and chuckling at that one. Other than those two rules everyone was respectful and kept their opinions to themselves.

Once we were done with the rules we split up by dorm house and then by major and since my dorm was west end and my major was financing I split of with the other corporate majors.

Our tour guide first showed us too our dorm where we would be staying for the next year as it was required by the campus that freshmen stay one year on campus for safety measures.

I had already chosen my dorm room about a month ago and had met my roommate. She was shy but pretty and smart and she had told me that she was majoring in animal science in order to get into Vet school.

The dorm house was fairly large and had 300 dorm rooms, a commons area, and was a single gender dorm so there were only women here.

I could sense 3 other wolves but they were either betas or an omega so they didn't stir up trouble. I could also sense a lion shifter amongst our group which had my wolf on edge the entire time but other than that the rest were humans.

As we left the dorms I caught the scent of my vampire. I looked around but could not see her but she had been here not to long ago.

I tried to shake the idea that my mate was at this school and focus on what the tour guide was saying but my eyes and nose started to water and my chest became tight and painful.

But I ignored the pain to the best of my ability and kept walking as the tour guide showed us around the main business school building.

After the tour was done my mother picked me up and took us home.

Once home she asked "honey you look pale, are you doing okay?"

"Yes mom. I'm fine." I said in a tight voice as the pain my chest continued and the fiery pain in my stomach started up again.

I started to walk up stairs as my mother asked I wanted something to eat and said no as I continued my way up to my bed where I fell asleep until morning the next day.
