I arrived at the restaurant, and knocked on the door. I was greeted with Bruno, who I have come to become good friends with.
"Ah! Y/n, are you here for another report already? Did someone betray the boss? Because if you need to inspect the restaurant, we were about to leave and take our new recruit on his first mission."
"Actually Bruno, the boss wanted me here to help with your mission."
He raised an eyebrow and looked around.
"This seems like a conversation better suited for the indoors."
I nodded and followed him in. I introduced myself to everyone, and everyone seems to like me except for Abbacchio, who doesn't trust me. Everyone was talking to each other, so I turned and looked at Giorno.
"So, you must be Giorno Giovanna. What reason did you join Passione?"
"Oh, well it's very personal."
"I see. I'll leave that to you then. If you're worried about the group or the mission, don't be, because they are all really kind. Even Abbacchio."
He nodded, and my phone went off. I looked to see who it was, and groaned. I literally saw her a few hours ago.
"Tch. Excuse me, Bruno, I need to take this phone call."
"Is it the boss?"
"No, someone much worse."
Bruno went in thought for a second before realising.
"Ah, Cioccolata. Yeah, you may wanna answer it then. Why is she calling you?"
"Long story, please wait up for me."
He nodded so I walked out and answered the phone.
We all followed Y/n, even Bruno and Abbacchio and huddled together listening.
"Moshi moshi, Y/n desu."
"Eeek! You said the line! I miss you. Can you come over later?"
"No, I have that mission from the boss."

"Aww, well, good luck N/n~ If you die I'm going to kill everyone in Rome an then myself, Kisses! Love you honey!"
"*sigh*"
"I said, "
"Fine, I love you too. I should be able to see you not too long from now."
"'Kay bye!"
Y/n hung up the phone and groaned to himself.
"Jesus, why does she have to say bye like five times? Whatever. I shouldn't keep the others waiting."
We sat down and started snickering when he came and sat down.
"Um, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, N/n! BWAHAHAHAHA!!"
Mista busted out laughing at his own joke, while everyone else shot him a glare, and he realised the situation he was in when he realised Y/n was now in front of him.
"I may not know too much, but I do know there's 206 bones in the human body, and for you Mista? You're going to have 412 when I'm done."
He yelped and Y/n laughed at him.
"Geez, I'm joking. If I knew you guys were gonna eavesdrop, I would've answered here."
Everyone let out a breath of relief, and we got up to head to the boat rental.

Double-Blind: A Modern LITRPG
Choosing a college when your family is struggling can be difficult, but it isn’t supposed to be world ending. And the falling meteor is seriously limiting Matt’s options. Now in the aftermath, his home city is locked down by a mysterious dome, corporations are looking to monopolize a wealth of new untapped resources, and people are suddenly developing powers via a system that seems to have borderline sinister intentions. In the chaos, he decides to stick to what he knows: stay out of the spotlight, grind, and survive. Watch as Matt is dragged into a dark LITRPG set in the real world, where the price of failure is death, and the prize for winning is beyond his wildest dreams. ++++++++++++++++++ There’s a couple big influences here: Solo-Leveling, Squid Game, and Code Geass. If you enjoy LITRPG stories with morally gray characters, high stakes, and smart protagonists who start weak and eventually become powerful in a unique way, you’ll probably find something to like. But be forewarned. It won’t be easy. I'll be writing this fast, so keep in mind there's likely to be typos that we'll correct as we go. Developmental Editing by Lev.
