It's dark outside, raining pouring and lightning storming. You'd never be able to tell it's 2:00 in the afternoon. This Diavolo's favorite weather. He's sitting in a chair, watching as his lover struggles and screams, doctors helping her.

Obviously, those doctors are going to die after this, likely in a "car accident" while leaving. The biggest concern of his, is the outcome of this whole 'birth' ordeal. Best case scenario, the baby dies and she dies in child birth. Sure, he'd feel sad, but that's less trouble in the future.

Sadly, neither of those happened. The baby came out perfectly fine, shit, and his love didn't die in child birth, damn. He let out a tiny groan, that went unheard by the others present.

"What do you want to name him?" The doctor asked, looking back and forth between the parents.

"It's up to her." The mob boss grumbled. The doctor nodded, and turned to the woman, beaming with pride.

"I think Y/n sounds good. Do you want to hold him, my love?" The woman asked, Diavolo's expression showing nothing but annoyance.

"Of course." He forced himself to respond, standing up and walking over to the babbling mess, and her baby. He picked up the child, and did his best to hide his disgust.

Diavolo never understood why people thought babies to be cute, much less why they flaunt them like a billion dollar piece of jewelry. It's just a smaller, dumber, slightly more annoying person. Y/n reached for his father's face, and Diavolo leaned away slightly.

'I've had enough of this. I'll just skip time and kill it.' The pink haired man thought to himself. His stand came out, and he thought he saw the baby look at it. He ignored it, and the world itself broke apart as time did.

King Crimson aimed its hand at the baby, until Diavolo got a shocked look. What appeared to be a copy of Epitaph was on the baby's head. Y/n looked around and giggled, clapping with joy.

Everything returned to normal, and Y/n reached out to King Crimson.

"It's like he's reaching out to his guardian angel." The mother said, joy still present.

Diavolo shed a single tear. This baby is the first being to see the world how he does. He decided then and there, he would protect this child with every fiber of his being. Being married to that woman allowed Diavolo to realize she was naive, and often wrong about the world.

But she was correct about the guardian angel, and he gave her credit for it. He let the woman live, but the doctors were a different story. Somebody needs to help him raise the boy.
