"So uhm, why are you so drunk today?" Montana asks Amber as they sit in the car. "Cause I felt like it, I don't think you need a reason to drink and ditch school at my age." Amber answers back, Montana just continues looking forward holding the steering wheel. "Well Amber look I'm not going to lecture you and all you know, I just think you're a pretty nice girl to be wasting your future like this dude" he says now turning to look at Amber. "I mean what are your goals?" Amber takes some time to answer that question as she's surprised at why Montana would give two shits about her and her lifestyle, but she answers honestly anyway. "Well I want to be a Geologist and I really want to leave South Africa, maybe go to the states you know." "Hmm okay well sounds like a plan but you've got to take care of yourself hold back on the drinks and focus on school Amber. We once had dreams and goals and they got wasted because of the very same thing you're doing." Amber nods silently as she heads for the door handle to get off and get to bed. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow 5 am sharp, later." As she's about to get off Montana calls out to her, "Amber! Look uhm, how about I get your numbers you know sometimes I do happen to be late or whatever just so you know what's going on." Holding his breath after saying this, but Amber responds to him, "I already have your numbers I'll text you Montana." She waves bye and finally gets inside her house and goes straight off to sleep.

A few weeks pass by its a Saturday and it's Amber's Birthday, she's finally Sixteen and she has a good day, and a text from Montana. 'Hey Happy Birthday Ambs Enjoy your day baby!' Amber is shocked as to how did he get her numbers because she hadn't texted him and secondly, how did she become 'baby' to him. Amber just leaves it on read and goes on shopping with her family. Monday finally comes and she's nervous as she never got back to Montana and she never told any of her friends about what had happened between the two of them. "Morning Ambs." Montana says with a huge grin on his face, making Amber so confused but she greets back and immediately gets on her phone trying to ignore him and any conversation he might bring up. They pick everyone else up including Amber's squad and they get to school but Amber stays behind as she's still gathering her things and getting ready for another dreadful day at this school. "Amber don't go to school today look we'll chill together you know." Amber stares him so coldly, "Funny coming from someone who told me to focus on my school work. Anyways I'll be done at three today can you wait up?" Amber asks. "Sure, enjoy your day." Amber makes her way to her first class and she spills everything to Jessica. "Are you being for real Ambs! I mean this guy was just busy with Sam and Pru, now he wants to get it on with you, besides his like what eight years older than you, girl no ways." Amber is confused about her feelings because Montana is a good looking guy, but after getting hooked with two of her friends she's confused." Yeah I know right, anyways did you do your Geography assignment?" Amber responds just wanting to avoid Jessica's truth about Montana. In class Amber starts to doze off thinking about Montana, his hazel brown big eyes and his fair skin, with amazing height and hair that nice and curly, slender as how she usually likes her guys. She's brought back by another text from Montana, 'Think about what I said earlier I do want to spend some time with you we'll do everything you want us to do.' Amber immediately responds 'Alright fine.' Sam pops in Amber's class being a distraction as always, letting her know her and Pru are going somewhere after-school so they'll have to cancel their plans and they won't be going home together. Great now that leaves me with this guy since Kate is one of the first people to get off Amber thinks to herself.
