———————————————————————
I tossed and turned trying to fall asleep. Ashtray, my boyfriend, was sleeping peacefully beside me. I was cuddled with him at one point until the stress of me not being able to sleep eventually moved me out of his arms...surprisingly without waking him up.
I looked up at the ceiling for a bit before turning to look at Ash. I gently and carefully, traced his tattoos, his initials and that small diamond sitting on his face perfectly, suiting him so well. I couldn't even imagine my life without Ash...I really couldn't.
I took my hand away and closed my eyes to try and fall asleep..but they soon opened again and i huffed in annoyance, turned away from Ash. Suddenly, i felt an arm wrap around my waist. "Cant sleep, ma?" He asked softly, pulling me close and kissing my shoulder. "Mhm..nope..." i mumbled. "This is the 3rd time, are you sure you dont have insomnia or something" he teased making me grin a bit
"You know, I probably do" i replied, turning to face him. "I've had a lot of sleepless nights.." I whispered and Ash slowly ran his thumb under my eye, making them shut a little. "If i manage to make you fall asleep, i'll let you stay asleep as long as you want. That means no Fez barging in on us and no Faye being loud as fuck" he explained, in a serious tone.
I nodded slowly he kissed my forehead. He rubbed my back, stroked my hair, kissed my face and eventually, i did fall asleep. And was woken a few hours later. I slowly opened my eyes and yawned. I was laying on Ashtrays chest, he was laughing at the tv. I looked around to see i was still in his bedroom and smiled.

"Hey, you're awake!" He spoke happily. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "That was my best sleep in awhile, you should definitely help me sleep more often..." i spoke and he smiled. "Oh, i will baby" he answered and pulled me into a soft kiss.

It's the story of Nikolaï, his struggles, his hopes, his journey ... in a word his life. A small WARNING from Ben: English is not my native language. I'm pretty confident in my ability to read it and understand it but there is a big gap between that and being able to properly write. My grammar being already "not so great" in my own language it makes sense to not expect a flawless one in another one. I'm getting better at it and invite readers to suggest any changes on the matter but if it's a deal-breaker for you you should pass or come back at a later date.Possibly in the future, I will look for someone to help me but if you read those world it's not the case yet.
