(A/N: Sorry for not updating everyone ;-; i was so busy with school and stuff so, here I am typing this story to you in my study hall! Enjoy
The colorful lights in Hotel OJ blared around, the music blasting, making the building shake slightly. The Grand Slam's "Wild Card", Microphone, was dancing effortlessly to the music, moving to every beat. Knife, the team's "Tough Guy", was leaning against the wall, tapping his foot and nodding his head to the beat. He occasionally opened one of his eyes to look over at Mic, a gentle smile appeared on his face every time he did so.
Microphone then walked to the concession table, grabbing a plate to get food. Knife looked over and saw her, giving him a good chance to be closer to her. He straightened himself up and walked towards the table as well, grabbing a plate of his own. "Y'know Mic, you really know how to move to a rhythm." He said sincerely with a small smirk. Mic blushed a light pink at this. "R-really? Thank you!" She smiled. "You sing too, right?" Knife asked curiously. "I do yes. I'm not a fan of my own voice, but everyone else says I should be on a singing show and not this." Mic chuckled. "Show me what you got," Knife exclaimed, "and maybe I'll even think so too. If you're good that is." He crossed his arms and looked Mic dead in the eye. "Alright!" She went over to the speakers and asked for a song to sing. Mic had picked "Symphony" by Clean Bandit. She grabbed another microphone (ahaha) and OJ silenced the other music to let her sing.

She brought the microphone to her lips and started to sing.

"I've been hearing symphonies
Before all I heard was silence
A rhapsody for you and me
And every melody is timeless
Life was stringing me along
Then you came and you cut me loose
Was solo singing on my own
Now I can't find the key without you
And now your song is on repeat
And I'm dancin' on to your heartbeat
And when you're gone, I feel incomplete
So if you want the truth
I just wanna be part of your symphony
Will you hold me tight and not let go?
Symphony
Like a love song on the radio
Will you hold me tight and not let go?"
I'm sorry if it's all too much
Every day you're here, I'm healing
And I was runnin' out of luck
I never thought I'd find this feeling
'Cause I've been hearing symphonies
Before all I heard was silence
A rhapsody for you and me
(A rhapsody for you and me)
And every melody is timeless
And now your song is on repeat
And I'm dancin' on to your heartbeat
And when you're gone, I feel incomplete
So if you want the truth
I just wanna be part of your symphony
Will you hold me tight and not let go?
Symphony
Like a love song on the radio
Will you hold me tight and not let go?
Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah ah, ah
And now your song is on repeat
And I'm dancin' on to your heartbeat
And when you're gone, I feel incomplete
So if you want the truth
(Oh, oh, oh)
I just wanna be part of your symphony
Will you hold me tight and not let go?

Mic put the microphone on OJ's table and heard an uproar of applause from all the other contestants. She blushed hard and walked off to the concessions. Knife gave her a huge hug there and kissed her on the cheek gently. "You were amazing Microphone. I had no idea you could actually sing." Knife smiled. "Heh..guess it was a hidden talent. Now everyone knows." She chuckled. Knife grabbed her hand and nodded. "Including me. I also apologize for giving you a hard time throughout the show." He shrugged and looked away. "Hey, don't worry about it Knife. Even if you gave me a hard time, I always looked up to you and admired you. You're amazing Knife."
"Thank you Mic.." he smiled.
The two spent the rest of the night dancing together and cuddling when it was time for them to sleep.
