I woke up to my phone ringing.

"Hello?"I answered the phone.

"Bitch come open the door."

I got up and went to open the door.

"Yo ass must've been knocked out?"Raven asked me.

"Hell yeah, I ain't heard shit."

"You hungry? I bought you a blueberry muffin and a parfait."

I rolled my eyes at her hard.

"Shay you know you gotta eat soft foods still."

"Okay so what you get?"I asked her.

"Now I got me a McGriddle and hash brown."

"Woowww you're supposed to be my dawg and you depriving me of some good shit."

"Tell it to the judge, ion wanna hear it."

"Mmcht Raeeee!!"I pouted as I watched her bite into her McGriddle.

"Okaaay I bought you a McGriddle and a hash brown too."she took them out of the bag and I smiled.

"I love yoooouu!!"I exaggerated.

"Okay for lunch you're eating a salad though."

"That's fine."

"Oh okay 'cause I thought I was gone have to tell your doctor."

"Fuck him and all of these diets and shit. Look at all of this weight I done lost."I said while looking at myself in the mirror.

"Get you some good dick and you'll gain it all back."she said and I rolled my eyes.

"I ain't worried about no dusty ass dick."

"Not even Von's?"she asked me and I shook my head.

Ever since I got shot in my stomach last year, I've been dealing with recovery.

The bullet didn't really do much damage but I did have pain after the whole situation.

My mama's fake ass took care of me in the beginning before she got mad at me because Von went to prison.

She was mad at me because they'd sentenced him to ten years for killing Rich, and she said it was all my fault.

I'm not sure where she is now or how she's doing but all I know is that she can kiss my black ass.

Von and I have been conversing while he's been locked up.

I'm not sure if my mother knows about it but I don't give a fuck.

We've been getting to know each other and getting close.

When he calls, we check up on each other.

He's really a vibe and I fucks with him the hard way.

As far as the club, I don't work there anymore and I'm not a bottle girl anymore.

Why?

'Cause after Rich was killed mfs was coming after me saying that I got him killed, so I kind of had to go into hiding.

I've also "changed" my name or whatever.

Now I go by Onyx.

For the sake of her being a good friend, Raven quit also.

She helped me get well after my mama gave up on me once again and Von got locked up.

How have I been staying paid?

A secret someone had been sending me money, money that I haven't spent, and I do hair now.

I've been knowing how to do hair but I just started using my talent on others.

It's coming along well, I'm just trying to get better so that I can build up my clientele.

I've lost so much weight over the month though.

I'm not as small as Raven but I most definitely am not as thick as she were.

As of now I'm not worried about it but later ima have to gain that weight back 'cause this ass just gotta be fat.

Until then ima focus on getting well.
