Ch. 15 This is going to work

(Amala pov)

Right after I finished wrapping the snake on Tut arm. I moved away from him, ripping my clothes as I walked backward.

Tuts eyes were on me and I felt my strap pop but I held everything against my chest, not letting anything drop because I wasn't going to show anything

I sat on the floor facing him, wondering why he was staring at me like that with such a look.

I was going to ask him why he was staring at me like that when the guards rushed into his chamber.

"Your Highness, the boy has told us what happened. Why would you try to risk your life to save a young servant?" One of the guards asks bending down to Tut removing the snake from his arm, checking if it was dead.

"Mistress Amla are you alright?" One of the guards asked me and I nodded my head, still holding onto my clothes for my dear life. the room is filled with guards as they're helping Tut and me up.

I shouldn't have ripped my clothes that way, but hey got to make it believable right.

"Where is Leo, he ran out the room crying," I asked and Leo moved from the guard, letting me see that he was here.

Tears still running down his eyes, I wanted to smile but held it in.

"Come here," I said to him, he ran towards me and I wrapped my arm around him.

Kissing his head and whispering in his ear that he did a good job.

I felt the guards gaze at me but didn't bother looking at any of them.

"Call for a kingdom meeting, this needs to be addressed immediately." King Tut said and the guards nodded their heads, four guards stayed behind as the others rushed out.

King Tut came to stand next to Leo and me.

Giving us a concerned look which for reason had me thinking it was actually real.

"I would like one of you to fetch Ramo, Leo's brother for me. I would like him here." He said and one of the guards nodded his head, leaving to go get Ramo.

Tut whispered in my ear.

"well, looks like your plan is working." He said and I nodded my head.

Still feeling the guards gaze on me.

Ramo came in with a confused look behind the guard that went to go get him. Leo gave him a look as if he's telling him to come.

Ramo understood the look and he came to stand right next to us.

I was wondering how they gathered everyone for the kingdom.

Did they go door to door? Nevermind I am pretty sure they set off a horn or ring a bell or something.

Actually, I wasn't sure what they did, but I knew my mind was on the verge of wanting to find out.

I was in this era, far away from home. as much as I wanted to brag about it. I couldn't brag about it with the people here, I would be thrown into a dungeon if I even mentioned to them my era or where I came from.

Besides it's not bad having Tut to be the only one I've told this about, I trusted him. To be quite honest if it wasn't for him. I actually would be dead.

a shiver ran through my body as images pop into my head of how my death would come.

I didn't even want to think about, I eyed Ramo as he talked to Leo in their hush toned, which I realized they had their own language they were speaking, which sparked my interest even more about the two.

Tut moved away from me and walked towards his men speaking to them, I hope this went extremely well.

I heard them asking if he was okay and if the bite he had on his arm was serious.

He told them it was fine.

I nodded my head, at the words he said because they needed to know that he most likely could have been hurt but he wasn't.

which was the truth.

Tut could have been hurt if he didn't have those urges that let him know something was actually wrong in the first place.

My plan was to get the trust of his people, by doing that he needed to make his people see that he see's them as worthy.

What better way to doing that by almost having his life taken away from him by protecting a servant.

That is a huge deal in this era if someone in the royal family protected a servant from danger and took the threat for themselves.

We needed to know who set this up and the only way we could find out such a thing is to have King Tut seem like a very good Human being.

We had to do the hardest thing to do in this era.

We had to get his people to actually like him.....

Obviously, not everyone is going to like the person who has a ruling over them, I know I wouldn't so of course that would be the hardest thing to do.

a couple of more guards came in, letting Tut know that the people have come and been waiting outside.

He nodded his head and asked them to excuse themselves from his chamber and wait for him down the hall.

They nodded their head and dismissed themselves.

Tut turned to look at me and walked towards me.

I looked at him closely.

He was gorgeous, I wasn't blind. I know he's attractive, those beautiful eyes, shining hair, nice looking skin and that body was probably-

"So, your Plan Mala?" he said interrupting my thoughts which I was perfectly fine with, I didn't know why my mind was heading towards that way anyway because there was no reason to.

"Ah yes, this is how it will go. You will do what you probably usually do best. Act like the King you're giving a long speech but not only that you have to be genuine. you have to be human. listen you're going to have to let them see that you're more upset that Leo could've died than about your own death. You have to make them see and know that you're upset that He and I or any other servant could have been hurt by the poison snake. You need to tell the people that you're angry that someone amongst them is trying to hurt your servers but not only your servers but also you. That just because that the servers aren't apart of the royal family it doesn't mean that they're not also people, with lives, family and is worth living. you do that and your people will hear you and who knows maybe they will turn in the person who did this to you." I told him.

I saw him nod his head slowly, letting the words register into his head.

"Very well, let us go then." He said looking at each one of us. I nodded my head grabbing Leo and Ramo hands. I followed Tut out of his chamber and noticed that the guards were already ready to guard us out to his huge Kingdom conference.

I wondered how it was done?

We continued walking for a couple of minutes before I believe we reach the destination.

This whole place was huge, I wouldn't be shocked if I found myself actually lost.

He walked into a place and I followed him, as he walked towards a balcony. My mouth dropped opened as he walked on the Balcony there were people talking but as soon as Tut made his self-seen. silence fell.

I followed right behind him with the boys and I was taken aback by the stadium filled with people facing us.

"I can't believe this," I said softly, not knowing what I actually expected.

Right in front of me were all the people that live in this Kingdom, these were the ancient Egyptian. everything I learned in the history book, everything I learned about them was right here in front of me.

I was living the moment.

I wanted to act like a fangirl that very moment but I couldn't.

I felt so many gazes at me, including his.

Tut gave me a look and was handed something, He put it in front of his mouth and said.

"My people!!!!-"
