《Sent To The Past (Interracial Romance)》CH. 10 What have I started?

I look at my reflection and couldn't believe what I was looking at.
As soon as that story of me being the Goddess Ishtar in Egypt and not in Anatolia (Turkey) Instead people came and Lavish me with gifts.
I officially started something and now I had to go through it.
"Oh, Phora I started something, something that can be dangerous," I said to Phora who nodded her head.
It's official even the Cheetah understands what I started.
I have to go through with this, I said staring at my reflection.
I look at the outfit I was wearing, even if this was a little too much. I look good.
I was wondering how long I was going to last here, I had things to do back home and I haven't even graduated yet.
It's not like I would stay here either, that would just be crazy.
"Finding everything to your liking Goddess." King Tut said walking towards me and I rolled my eyes and turned around to face him.
"It was the first thing that pops in my head okay? You can't blame me. it worked out anyway." I said defending myself, I refuse to feel bad, these gifts are nice.
He let out a laugh "What will you do when they start asking you to come guide them in war? or to help cure their fertility problems? or more Godly things?" He said and my eyes widen.
"You said what now?" I asked fearing for the reply.
He noticed and let out another laugh.
"You started something Mala, something huge. I am sure the whole village knows about you, heck Egypt most likely knows about you now. You've made a name for yourself, the question is how are you going to own up to it." Tut said and I couldn't believe it.
I'm an idiot, I didn't have time to think things through but still, I should have thought it through. Gosh, these are people in the B.C era, of course, they're going to come up and ask for these miracle treatments. I can't grant these treatments. Some I can but I refused to be burned to death or become fry chicken as they scream she's a witch.

a shiver ran through my body as that image pop in my head.
"Why didn't you stop me?" I asked him and he gave me look as if I should have known the answer.
"Why would I? the look on my mother by law face was worth remembering if someone were to try to kill you. I would have asked them to wait after your speech and after the look, my mother by law had then they could proceed." King Tut said and my mouth dropped open.
"That thought was before, I am fond of you now. I'll protect you. no worries. just don't get killed in the first couple of chapters you're here okay?" He said walking from me and I followed him.
"So what are your plans for today?" I asked him and he turned his head around to look at me with a confused expression.
"What are you going to do today?" I asked again and he rolled his eyes.
"Mala I understood what you asked before I just don't understand why'd you asked. I am a King, I don't have to tell you my plans." He said.
"What.... What.. I don't care but I'm just letting you know you can't leave me alone here, I have no weapons to protect myself. All I have is Phora and she shouldn't work alone. Don't forget your step mother wants me dead for whatever reason and I am not safe alone. so sorry Tut can't leave me alone, I'll have to be your shadow." I said standing close behind him making a point.
"You know I could have left the guards to kill you when I first saw you." he said turning around and squinting his eyes at me.
"You know I can let who ever wants you dead which is your mother and a couple of more people succeed right?" I shoot at him right back squinting my eyes at him also.
"Woman I am a king not a sitter to children!" He said.
"I don't care if you were the lord him self, I am not a child and you're not leaving me alone and that's final," I said.

He let out a strong laugh that roared through his body.
"Will see about that." He said
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
"Very well thank you General, is there any more locations I should know about?" I asked the general that was in my army.
I noticed the shock expressions on everyone face when I scrolled into the room with Mala and Phora scrolling right next to me.
Not behind
but
right next to me.
The fact that she was able to make me let her come with me is out of my mind. How easy it would have been to call the guards and have her lock in a room while they were sitting her.
I notice one of my men staring at her.
"Lucindo, would you introduce yourself to her. after all, your eyes seem to want to attach themselves to her and become one." I said with irritation in my voice.
I notice everyone eyes were on here but no one stared as long as he did.
He seems shocked as I had announced it to the room.
"Oh, I'm sorry your Highness of course. I am Lucindo, Third in command to the King. It is Honor to meet you, my lady." He said standing and bowing.
I hold the urge to roll my eyes, did anyone not understand my personality. I surely did not want him to actually introduce his self. someone needs to come up with a term for this sooner or later.
Perhaps I shall.
I turned to look at Mala and she gave Lucindo a smile that had everyone in the room shock.
I am not an idiot, I know that Mala is a beautiful woman and I know her beauty can not be compared to any woman I have met or will meet in my life.
But do they all really have to stare at her that much.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, honestly it is a pleasure to be seated with you all. May you all be strong and live for many years." Mala said and I instantly wanted to kick her leg.
She shouldn't have said that...
"Then you shall bless us Goddess with many years to live?" a Man from my army spoke and Mala eyes widen as she instantly realized where she let her self into.
Her smile didn't falter as she said "Ah as I wish I could but I am not the Goddess of that. but I will help as best as I can." She said and everyone laughs picking up her sense of humor.
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
"We were all shock when we heard our King was in gracious with the Goddess I couldn't believe it, as you're worship by the Hittites and the Methompians but here you're here with us." One of the men said.
"Yes, I understand but I am needed by Tut and with Tut I am," Mala said eyes widen when everyone noticed that she didn't say King or Highness.
Mala seem not to notice until she realized what she didn't say and look at me.
I smiled at her and lifted her chin with my finger kissing her nose.
"Very well," I said and turned back to my men.
"The meeting is done, we will have another one tomorrow morning. Have a good evening."
I said and they all bowed rushing out the door as if students wanting to escape a tutor.
"I'm sorry, so sorry, gosh I just ruined everything," Mala said whispering.
"No, it's fine," I said getting up with a smirk on my face.
"Are you sure because isn't this going to start more rumors." she said following me with Phora behind.
I let out a laughed and faced her, she stared at me with a confused look on her face.
"It's only going to confirm a rumor," I said getting ready to turn around but her question stops me.
"What rumor is that?" she asked and I gave her a smirk.
"That we're definitely sharing a bed," I said walking away but not before catching the widen shock look face on Mala face.
I would have to live with the rumors... for now, sharing a bed with Mala would never possibly be a bad thing though. as sweet as she is, I doubt it will ever happen.
