《Michael Myers X Reader》Chapter 2

The Myers house stood in front of you tall and looming. You could see different colored lights floating around inside the house from the party. Loud pop and dance music could be heard from outside.
You stood in front of the house, chills running up your spine even though you were wearing a coat.
You pulled your coat around your shoulders tighter, trying to stay warm.
You had such a bad feeling about this. Michael was dangerous, him snapping was one of the worst things to happen in this small town. You looked up and down the street, there wasn't a person in sight.
Strange.
Especially on Halloween night...
You took a really deep sigh and stepped up to the door, knocking once then entering.
You entered the house and were instantly blasted by loud music, you quickly put your hands over your ears but to no avail. It was so loud, and so many people were talking and screaming you could barely hear yourself think.
You wandered through the crowd with your hands still over your ears, you scanned the crowd as you walked, trying to find your friend.
You finally made it out of the main room the party was in, which you suspected was the living room, and entered into the kitchen. It was a little bit quieter in here, you moved your hands away from your ears and looked around the kitchen, or what was left of it.
Most of the walls were broken with large holes in them to see into the next room. Wallpaper was falling off and any sort of kitchen appliance that was here before is no longer distinguishable. The floors were uneven and you had to watch where you stepped unless you wanted to trip and fall. You moved around the kitchen seeing lots of people, mostly drunk, stumbling around and knocking into one another.

"(Y/NNNN)!"
You turned around hearing your name, or at least a really slurred version of it. Your friend (F/N) wobbled over to you, clearly drunk and ready to pass out.
"Glaadd your could maaake it!" they slurred moving her arms dramatically upwards, spilling their drink in the process.
She moved over to you and they put their arm around your shoulder for support. Their breath reeked of alcohol and so did their clothes.
"How drunk are you right now?" you yelled over the noise from the other room.
"I'm not thaaat drunk (Y/N)."
All of their words were slurred almost beyond being able to understand them.
"I think its time that I took you home."
"Noooo! I wanna staaaayyyy!" They whined
You angrily sighed, the loud music starting to get to you.
"Fine, but you're going to have to go lay down, you really don't look or smell so good."
"That's fiiiine, there's a bed upstairs!" They pushed themselves off you to stand in front of you, "and I smell amaaazing!" they spun in a circle tripping and almost falling to the ground before they caught themselves.
You sighed and put their arm around your shoulder again as you led them upstairs.
It was definitely quieter up here, the music was just a low rumble. You walked down hallway pushing doors open to see if anyone was inside them. Most of them held horny teens, and you quickly closed those doors before moving onto the next one.
Finally, you found a room that was empty, it had a small blanket in the corner of the room and you lay (F/N) down on it.
They instantly fell asleep and started snoring, you sighed deeply. You had to figure a way to get them out of the house without too much complaint. You closed your eyes and rubbed your temples trying to think of a good idea.

The screams downstairs got louder and you angrily covered your ears again. Why did (F/N) have to like parties like these? Was it really so fun to get so drunk that you can barely move?
Suddenly everything went quiet.
Your eyes shot open.
Quiet?
There was no music anymore, no screaming, no talking, you could hear some rustling from the other rooms in this hallway, probably from the teenagers but other than that it was silent.
What the hell is going on?

Shaman
*** Let's get this clear now: the MC is a trans woman. This is not a gender-bender. It's set in a fantasy world but the exploration of identity and gender is reality-based. Not a joke, not a kinky turn-on. If this is a problem for you, please just act like an adult and look elsewhere for something to read. *** Rating breakdown, since that should be public info: 2 x 5*, 1 x 4.5*, 1 x 3*, no reasons offered. A human shaman and healer returns from several years with the mysterious shyani, accompanied by her shapeshifting puma best friend. A valued friend, from her previous identity as a male student physician, has acquired an old shyani book, and extremists will not tolerate its presence in human hands. But back in human lands, the question arises: which world does she belong in? Generations ago, human explorers found a continent inhabited by an utterly alien culture of shapeshifting weyres and the shyani, humanoids who prefer dusk and dawn. A truce of sorts was eventually reached: humans claimed the rich lowlands, and the shyani and weyres retain the highlands. Along the border, practicality often rules, but on either side, old grudges linger in some hearts. As a student physician, Corin tried to take his own life, unable to bear the countless tiny wounds inflicted over twenty-one years of lying to himself in order to be, or pretend to be, socially acceptable. At the last improbable instant, intervention came, in the form of a spirit fox, who led him away from the existence he’d known in the lowlands and into the highlands. There, a puma weyre rescued him, and a shyani shaman helped him find his true self and offered a rebirth, a life with no more lies, and an important role to fill. Now a shaman and healer in her own right, Vixen who was once Corin learns that the one human who mattered to her in her previous life, then a fellow University student, has come into possession of an old shyani book, and the more fanatical shyani and weyres will stop at nothing to reclaim it and punish Jared. Even though it means going back into the lowlands and facing Jared as a woman, she can’t bear to just look the other way. This should be a short visit, just long enough to see the book into the proper hands and make sure Jared will not be killed for having it, and then she can return to the shyani community that has accepted her as their shaman. And, of course, her feline best friend Dayr insists on coming with her. But Jared is now a Lord, with considerable wealth and power, and his response to her presence isn’t one she expected. After years living with the shyani, she sees everything around her from a new perspective, and that makes it difficult to keep to the plan of making as few waves as possible. As an honoured guest in a highborn house, with only Jared aware that she has ever been anyone else, Vixen finds herself questioning where she belongs: with Dayr and the shyani, who accept her gender without question but have to make allowances for her differences, or with humans, in the culture she grew up in even though her past would mean a major scandal? *** Trigger warning: there are scenes of Vixen's previous life, which include some difficult moments and culminate in an (obviously unsuccessful) attempt at suicide before she finds her true self and a better life. Please be careful! This is the ONLY reason for the "Traumatising Content" tag.*** Complete stand-alone novel, 96K words. Also available on Scribble Hub and as a free ebook.

Economicalopoly
Humanity had gotten this far. How far, might you be wondering? Quite far indeed. The world had effectively become an ecumenopolis, almost; not in real life at least, in Economicalopoly of course! More on that later, in our story the main character is Charlie. Charlie was an exceptionally talented young man, the key word being 'was'. He was an incredibly unmotivated individual who generally steered clear from other 'Homo sapiens' as he put it. This was all because of an accident he had early on in life, when he was but 15 years old.
