《Marinette One-Shots》She destroys the Red Room

"Tikki?" Marinette asks lightly, and Tikki flies over to where Marinette's leaned against her bed board. "Yeah Mari?" Marinette smiles at her little friend and asks the question that's been on her mind for a while.
"Can you tell me about some of your previous holders?" Tikki gave Marinette a sad smile, she knew what was happening. "Of course! Let's see. . . . my last holder was a part of the Red Room, but she was a good fit." Marinette blinked. She'd never heard of the Red Room.
"Red Room? What's that Tikki?" Tikki shook her head and explained the Red Room to Marinette, with every word, Marinette got more and more upset.
"Tikki? Was the Red Room taken down?" Tikki shook her head, and Marinette got that gleam in her eyes, the gleam that clearly said 'to hell with the Red Room. I will take it down.' Marinette was making it her mission. She would take out the Red Room, or she would die trying. Tikki tried to dissuade her, but it was pointless. Marinette had set her heart on seeing the Red Room fall.
Marinette did take down the Red Room, helping all the children and saving so many lives, however, nobody knew who was behind it. In one of the files, Marinette finds out about HYDRA. She starts raiding and taking down HYDRA bases. AND GUESS WHAT?! When she's taking down these bases, she encounters one Bucky Barnes, well, at the time he was the Winter Solider, but that's not my point.
Marinette fights the Winter Solider and takes Bucky back to her place. With the help of Tikki, Marinette uses creation magic to heal his mind. Marinette explains to him what happened, and the two become close, eventually, Marinette tells him her life story, well, she leaves out certain things, like Tikki, and the Miraculous, just telling him that she was trained, and that it's tech- or something. And Marinette starts calling Bucky dad, and he's ok with that, going as far as treating her like he would his own daughter.

Marinette gets a Stark internship and meets the Avengers ) eventually they invite her to dinner with them, but she tells them it's a family night, and that she is supposed to make dinner for her dad, so they do the only logical thing.
They invite her and her dad. Now, Bucky's told Marinette about pre-serum Steve, so Marinette didn't make the connection when she meet Steve.
So, anyways, Marinette and Bucky show up.
Steve's eyes widen as he catches sight of Bucky, he drops the plate he was carrying, and it shatters on the floor, but Steve's to stunned to care, he walks over and gives Bucky a hug. "Uhm, WHAT?" Tony asked, quite loudly, and Steve smiled.
"This was my best friend, from World War 2." So, they head to the dining room, and Steve asks Bucky how he's still alive, and how he looks the same. Bucky explains that he was frozen by HYDRA, and then he was un-frozen, and he escaped when HYDRA was destroyed. Suddenly, Steve thinks of something.
"Wait, Mari, how do you know Bucky?" Marinette chokes on her food, and before she can answer, Bucky says "She saved me from HYDRA after she took down the Red Room." cue more choking, and a stunned silence. Nat breaks it and asks the question the Avengers are all thinking.
"How the hell did you take down the Red Room?" Marinette looks at her, and all the Avengers notice for the first time, the determination and knowledge in her eyes. Marinette shoots a glare at Bucky. "They didn't know that dad." Bucky smiles sheepishly, and Marinette turns back to Nat, and tilts her head,
"I was trained in martial arts, it wasn't so hard." of course, nobody believes that, and they all give her a 'really?' look. Marinette sighs.

"I was a hero. . . . a long time ago." she mutters under her breath, which causes the Avenger's breath to hitch. Marinette was only 19. If she was a hero a long time ago, she would have been a extremely young hero. Steve spoke up next, and barley whispered his question. "When?"
Marinette smiled at the. "It started when I was 11. We- no. I defeated the villain when I was 17. Then I Moved to the Americas. After that, I found out about the Red Room, and I- I- it reminded me of Haw- of the villain. So, I swore I would take it down, or die trying." suddenly, Natasha made the connection.
"Holy shit. No- you, you, the Ladybug, Tikki-" she was so stunned she couldn't even form a sentence, and Marinette laughed. "Yes. Me. I do have it. Tikki and I get along great." Natasha blinked a few times, before gently asking,
"You said, you defeated the villain, but if you were Ladybug, where was your Cat?" Marinette smile fell and her eyes filled with pain. "He was not a true fit- he, he uh, became corrupted. I had to take away his Miraculous when we were 14." Natasha gasped again.
"No! You had to take it away? But what happened to the old Guardian? And you had to fight with both? Oh Mari." Marinette smiled again and lifted her right hand to showcase Chat's ring. This time it was Loki who gasped.
"Lady Marinette, is that the Cat Miraculous? Huh, I figured you for the Ladybug Miraculous." Marinette giggled and pointed to her ears. And when she did that, they noticed her necklaces, and Thor asked,
"Lady Marinette, how many Miraculous do you wear?" "All 19."
Everyone in the room who knew what a Miraculous was, gasped. "Lady Marinette! You could go insane from so much power!" Marinette laughed again and said "I've been living this way since I was 14. Since I had to watch those I loved die, since I had to revive those who had died because I was weak, since I saw them all brutally murdered, so many different ties, so many different ways, so much death, and pain, I could have prevented, if I was Stronger."
Stunned silence,

Odyssey of the Unrivalled
What do you do when you have it all? When you can do anything, go anwhere, know anything with less effort than stretching your fingers? When you feel jealous of any passer-by, just because they have something to do, somewhere to be? The answer was simple to him: erase your memories, seal your power and live a normal life. Still, something felt wrong. It just didn't feel... fulfilling. But then a magical formation appears in his office, and he and his co-workers get catapulted into another world. Profanity will be kept to a minimum, but will be included to keep realism. There will be some gore, vegans and animal activists alike beware. Will include some comedy, some meaningful conversation (I hope) and some things you will (hopefully) never expect in this genre. Hopefully quality will increase as it goes on. No schedule for chapters, but they will keep coming. Feedback welcome. View my other story at https://royalroadl.com/fiction/13168/fork-this-life

Trickster's Tale
Be careful when demanding reparations from gods. They rarely own up to their mistakes. Due to a goddess's shortsighted error, Perry finds himself transported to a distant Universe with new proportions and a different identity. Instead of cowering before the deity, he demands she opens a portal home or provides reparations for him and his bereaved family. Unfortunately, standing up for himself doesn't earn Perry respect. Instead, she curses him with cowardice, limiting his combat and magical potential. Little does the goddess know that nothing can stand in the way of Perry's sheer will. If brute strength and arcane might won't get him the justice he desires, wit and creativity will. Perry's first target? A goblin shaman. Then, the world. And so begins, the bard's ballad. Trickster's Tale (Book 1): Is That A Lute In Your Pocket will release on Kindle Unlimited on the 10th of May.Due to KU's exclusivity rules, I've had to take most of book 1 down.Book 1 Bard's Ballad takes place in the same extended Universe as my other story, The Houndsman. It's set on a distant 'disk', though. As a result, the magic system is unique in comparison and has a harder LitRPG system. While the story utilises stats, it doesn't take them seriously and occasionally makes fun of regular LitRPG mechanics.

Friendly Neighborhood Necromancer
To be taken to another world; isn't that the kind of thing that nearly everyone wishes for once in their life? To use their savvy knowledge of how things usually go in that situation to take advantage, and lead a life where they are the center and in control of their destiny. But in the stories, the one who is brought ends up with a grand power to help them through. Here, a man is brought to a foreign world as his new character in the VRMRPG, Underworld of Armok, at Level 1. In safety there are few benefits, only by taking risks far beyond his level could one proceed. Transported to another world, he wishes to do good and be a hero. Accumulating power to help the less fortunate. There's just one caveat; he's a Necromancer, and his greatest source of strength will probably get him lynched.Quick DescriptionAnother video game/isekai novel. Unfortunately, the MC has crossed over during character creation of a Necromancer and is Level 1. He also lacks the ever so helpful status window.Fair warning, the Friendly Villager Necromancer arc(1) is slow. He does not want to run out into the dangerous world to get killed right after arriving. Sucks to be Level 1, eh? Git gud scrub. It's basically a Slice of Life from his perspective. The Thread, in case you get a bit confused about people/places. [16+] Now probably! For strong language and violence! And anthropophagy and lewd intimations! And stupid jokes and obscure references! And philosophical ditherings and a slow pace! Make peace with the absurd, and come to terms with the terrible!

Natural Alchemist
Will is poor. This is a fact he does not like about himself. Even back at his home village he was considered poor, but poor in the big city means something completely different than poor in a small village... It means ten hour days of hard manual labor with barely enough money to survive, and poor living conditions. He's sick of it, and desperate for change. Perhaps that was what made him decide to spend such a large portion of his savings on a mysterious potion from that beggar... That, and it seemed so special when he held it. But ever since that day, he's been having the strangest dreams... And the work is really starting to take a toll on his body... Author's Note: I wasn't sure which mature content warnings I should put on this novel, as I'm pretty much pantsing the story. I'm putting them there mostly as a percaution, but also to not limit myself as to where the story can go. This is my first time writing and publishing anything substantial. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
