(It has been three months since Connie's plan was put in place, although there have been some difficulties and inconveniences, as far as possible, everything has worked out quite well.)
Everybody listen up...
(Right now, Steven, Connie, Lars, and a group of gems from other planets are gathered at Little Homeworld, planning their next move.)
Our infiltrated Gems just sent us the following information: In a few hours, ten drop ships from the planet X7LF82 will leave for Homeworld.
What will we do about it?
We're gonna intercept them with warships and board them instantly in groups of three.
Why in groups of three?
A large team would attract a lot of attention.
I get it.
And with the scanner we'll fix the gem crew, and when those ships are ours, it will be easier to get into Homeworld *yells* Have you got that?! Any questions?!
No!!
Alright! Everyone knows what to do, get down to work!
(All the Gems go to the warships waiting for new orders. Steven, Lars and Connie stayed there in the same place they were.)
Hope all this works.
It definitely will, don't fret.
Steven, you sure you can handle this?
It's true, do you feel emotionally stable?
Yes, I'm fine. Three months of therapy suited me very well.
Glad to hear that, because we can't waste an opportunity like this.
Of course!
By the way, Connie.
What's wrong?
Are you sure to put your studies aside? Won't you get in trouble for it?
Don't worry about that, right now the earth is in danger, my studies will be of no use to me if something bad happens to it.
I understand. Then let's save the Earth.
Yeah...
(Steven and Connie fuse into Stevonnie, then prepares their sword, food, water, and among other things which they carries in a backpack.)

Ready! *turns to Lars* With you we'll be a team of three... Well, sort of.
No problem, I get it.
All right, let's do this then!
(Later, they all take off into space in warships brought to earth when Gems from other planets came to take refuge.)
Ok, we are already on the route the drop ships will pass through, at any moment they should... *interrupted*
*looking out the window* Look! *shouting* Here they come!!
(Drop ships are approaching at high speed.)
Let's go around them! We're not going to let them escape!
(Enemy drop ships fly on their set route without any problem, until suddenly they are surrounded by warships, the pilot gems can only wonder in terror: What's going on? And where did those ships come from? Since they are drop ships, they weren't able to do anything to defend themselves.)
Good, they are surrounded! *yells* Get ready to board the spaceships in groups of three! The rest of the Gems stay here waiting for new orders!!
(Stevonnie, Lars and the other gems board all the drop ships.)
Go ahead!!!
(Stevonnie holds the rejuvenated gems tightly while Lars scans them, and thanks to the information provided by the scanner they manage to fix them successfully after a while.)
Good thing the scanner has worked... *takes a communicator out of their backpack* Stevonnie speaking, the rest of the teams, how did it go?
*responds* Perfect, everything goes according to plan.
Ok, then now let's go to Homeworld!

Tales of Ordinary, Completely Unremarkable Contractors
"Where life had no value, death, sometimes, had its price. That is why the mercenaries appeared." - Artur Xerxes, in A Century of Disappointment: Memoirs of a Travelling Dwarf It's never too difficult to land contracts for a set very specialised skills in a continent teeming with werewolves, vampires, giant leopards, undead and, god forbid, elves. The difficulty comes when these contractors find themselves suffocated in the dense atmosphere of this world's rigid - and mostly unfair - rules; death, suffering and misfortune await those unwilling to sacrifice to bend these in their favour. In this non-linear plot, you will observe a scarred and deformed farm girl cashing her first bounty posters, a seemingly ordinary barmaid at a tavern in the bustling centre of a sprawling, corrupt city and an enigmatic leader of a firm specialising in dealings any other would consider suicidal. Watch them all take everything to the next level at every available opportunity, and then feel dread at the thought that this still might not be enough to halt the physical embodiment of doom about to do what it does best Please, feel free to review and comment! Any sort of feedback can help me become a better writer and write more engaging stories for you. I used to update once every 3-5 days, but this rewrite is taking much too long...I do hope it will be worth it.
