"Lighten up, Cho!" Y/n said in a cheery voice whilst rubbing Cho's back.
"Yeah, besides we're reaching Hogwarts soon !" joined Parvati.
"I know, I just miss him a lot."
Cho, Y/n and Parvati were now seated in one of the various compartments in the Hogwarts Express.
"I'm gonna grab a snack from the trolley, do you guys want anything?" Y/n asked the group, Parvati and Cho shook their heads in response.
With that, Y/n walked out of the compartment, not forgetting to shut the door on the way out.
She spotted the trolley lady as soon as she got out of the compartment. As she was walking towards the trolley, she bumped into a hard surface.
"Wha-"
"I'm sorry, are you okay?" Y/n quickly interrupted.
Draco's mouth fell open and closed again, stunned by the h/c girl standing in front of him with a worried face.
His face quickly switched into a sneer once he realised what he was doing.
"Watch where you're going next time, L/n." He mumbled as he walked off, bumping into her shoulder as he did so.
Y/n took no offence to it. Though she knew he meant it as a insult, his voice came out a little weaker than he wanted it to be. She could sense a sort of sadness in him, a sort of hurt in him, something no one else but her, could sense. Guess that's the perks of being a Ravenclaw , she thought.
The thought of the pale blond Malfoy boy quickly left her mind once she realised she had reached her destination.
"Anything from the trolley, dear?" The plump lady said in her cheery voice.
"Two chocolate frogs please."
"There you go deary, that'll be 2 sickles." She stated, as she passed the chocolate frogs to the h/c girl.

Y/n quickly took out the money from the maroon pouch she carried with her and gave it to the lady.
As she was walking back to a compartment, she heard a faint whispering coming from one of the compartments. Now, she obviously knew it was rude to eavesdrop but she simply couldn't help herself.
She quietly pressed her ear against the compartment the sound was coming from. From what she heard, they were probably Slytherins.
"Do you know Y/n L/n?" Said a familiar voice.
Now she definitely had to listen to this.
"I don't think I've talked to her before, but I've seen her around." Said another voice which she knew to be Blaise's.
"I bumped into her today." said the the first voice. Now that definitely had to be Draco.
"She had really nice eyes, haven't you noticed ?" He continued.
"She has really nice hair too. It'll be so nice to your fingers through her hair. I bet it's soft." Now this was just getting weird.
"Bloody hell mate. What's gotten into you?" Ha, she wasn't the only one who thought that.
Now was her cue to leave, she thought, as she quickly walked back to her compartment. Mumbling a small "I'm back" to Cho and Parvati as she entered the compartment.
