Everything shook as Maya and Rebekah both entered the compound. ''What the hell is going on.''
''Davina'' Klaus said before the two girls walked up to her room.
When they walked in they found Davina laying down on the bed looking paler than usual, sweat coating her features and her breathing more laboured.
''Hey, what kind of game do you think you're playing. I said to disrupt the household, not destroy the whole city.''
''Lay off Rebekah. I think something is seriously wrong with her.'' Maya sat down beside Davina and felt her forehead before pulling her hand back. She was burning up.
''I didn't do it. Not on purpose. I-I don't know what's wrong with me.'' Davina stuttered making both Maya and Rebekah share looks of disbelief.
*****
''So you have stolen the remains of the very person that Davina's been drawing for months. Would care to explain this startling coincidence?'' Elijah asked as Maya, Klaus, and Rebekah were all waiting for Sophie to start explaining.
Looking down at Davina's drawing Sohpie said ''I can't. I didn't even know who Celeste Dubois was until I-
Sophie suddenly gasped as she compounds once again started shaking as Davina yelled.
Looking a the four originals in disbelief Sophie asked ''Was that Davina?''
''Charming little habit she's developed,'' Klaus said after he took a sip of his drink.
''And the earthquake I felt today?''
''Also Davina.'' Rebekah tutted.
''Let's not forget she's also taken to vomiting dirt.'' Maya smiled sarcastically at Sophie.
''Oh, we have a huge problem. I thought that we had more time, but we need to complete the Harvest now. '' Maya raised her brows at Sophie.
''Said the desperate witch conveniently.'' Klaus then took another sip of his drink.
''I'm serious. That earthquake you just felt. A preview of the disaster movie that is about to hit us.''
''Why should we believe you?'' Elijah said looking deep in thought.
''You've met Davina, you know her story. For months now, she's been holding all the power of the 3 girls sacrificed in the harvest ritual, a force that was meant to flow through her back into the earth. One person was never meant to hold that much power. It's tearing her apart.'' Tired of Sophie's unnecessary rambling Maya decided to sum it up.
''Basically what Sophie is trying to say is that if Davina docent's complete the Harvest, she will destroy New Orleans and take us down with it''
*****
''The earth stage comes first.'' Maya softly told Davina who was on the verge of crying. They were now back in Davina'a room explaining to her all the stages that she would need to pass.
''The comes to wind, and since each stage is more intense than the last, let's just say you'll blow the roof off this place.'' Maya rolled her eyes at Rebekah's choice of words.''

''After the wind it's water. But that's not the worst part. The last stage is fire. Since it's the last it will be by far the worst'' Maya then internally winced at her words that were no better than Rebekah's.
''That's why they want to complete the Harvest,'' Rebekah said and Davina immediately protested. ''The witches say you'll be resurrected.''
''They're liars! They'll say anything to get what they want just like Marcel, just like the both of you,'' Davina cried.
''Davina you may think that we don't care about you but you're wrong. We know what it's like to have your life stripped away from you because of other people's bad decisions. How do you think we became vampires?'' Maya said as she recalled the way Mikael forced human blood down her throat.
Rebekah then pulled out a syringe making Davina panic.
''Rebekah, what are you doing?'' Maya asked as she looked at Rebekah in disbelief.
''What is that.'' Davina squirm as she saw the syringe.
''The more upset you become, the faster you deteriorate. I compelled up some sedative.''
''No, No,NO!'' Davina begged Rebekah as she cried.
''We keep you calm, we keep you alive Davina.''
''Stop!'' As Davina protested the wind started to pick up. Maya then decided to snatch the syringe from Rebekah and inject it into Davina and slowly the wind came to a stop.

Amaya and Klaus stood in Davina's room as Rebekah talked to Elijah on the phone.
''He's taken the girl.'' Rebekah sighed.
''Who has?''
''Bloody, Bloody Marcel!''
''And you wanted to run off and start a life with this backstabber,'' Klaus said as he looked at Rebekah pointedly.
''Says the man who was shacking up with him, not two seconds before all this went down.'' Maya defended Rebekah who sent her a grateful look.
''Ok. We need to divide and conquer if we're gonna stand a chance. He could have gone anywhere. '' Rebekah told Elijah over the phone.
''Well, I', here with Sabine. Perhaps we could try a locator spell?
''I'll talk to the priest. They might even be at the church. It's the last place we'd think to look for them, right?'' Klaus said as he looked at the two.
''Ok. Both of you check the church, I'll check everywhere else.'' Rebekah said Maya's comment making her roll her eyes. She did not want to go with Klaus.
''What are you doing?'' Amaya asked Hayley as she and Klaus spotted her packing canned food in a box.
Wiping her eyes Hayley said ''I was gonna take these to the-
''If you say, Bayou, I will find a nice comfy dungeon and throw you in it.'' Klaus approached Hayley.
''I would much rather that than have to see her face every time I'm in the compound,'' Maya mumbled hoping Klaus didn't hear her comment.

''This is not the night to be out there.''
''For anyone.'' Hayley turned around to look at Klaus and that's when Maya spotted Hayley's red eyes. ''But some people don't have a choice.''
''Right.'' Klaus then moved to pick up the box Hayley was packing. ''Grab that lot and come with us.''
''We still haven't gone through all that you've already provided, Klaus.'' Father Kieran said once he spotted Klaus, Maya and Hayley walk into the church.
Well, this newest bit isn't from me.'' Klaus handed the box that he and Hayley were carrying to Father Kieran.
''Oh? That's very kind of you.''
''Hayley.'' After a beat of silence, Hayley asked ''And these people are?''
''I asked Father Kieran to shelter them.-
Maya snorted at Klaus's words before saying ''What's in it for you.''
Turning around to glare at her Klaus asked ''What' 's the problem Amaya.''
''I refuse to think you did this out of the niceness of your heart. Given the fact that you don't ever do anything without something in return.'' Maya snarkily said. If she had to be stuck with Klaus and Hayley she was not going to be nice.
''Well if you must know, Father Kieran suffers from an incessant desire to do good.'' Turning to face Father Kieran Klaus continued ''But now I need you to be useful. Marcel and Davina have disappeared. I assume from the stupefied look on your face. They haven't sought refuge in your attic.''
''No. Those said are gone.''
''Then energize your resources. I don't need to remind you how important it is they be found.''
As Father Kieran walked away Hayley said ''These people they're werewolves. And the priest he that you donated the food. You're helping them?''
''They're not your werewolves. They're my clan. From very far back. They've fallen upon hard times and their plight had brought out the philanthropist in me.'' Klaus then shrugged. ''What can I say? Must be Elijah's influence.''
''What do you mean your clan?'' Hayley asked.
''Could you be any slower.'' Maya snapped. ''The blood that runs their veins run in his and in that miracle baby of yours.'' Maya angrily pointed her finger at Hayley's stomach.
Having had enough of being around them Maya quickly left the compound.

All the Mikaelson along with Hayley and Sophie in Lafayette Cemetery when Marcel came holding a drenched Davina.
Sophie held the knife in the fire before walking up to Davina. ''Do you believe in the harvest?''
''I believe.''
Marcel stood behind Davina ready to catch her as Sophie slit open he throat with the knife.
Amaya winced and looked away from the scene. Though she had witnessed many deaths and killed many people in her lifetime it was always hard to see a child die.
Davina fell back clutching onto her arms as Marcel tightly held her dying body. Suddenly the rain stopped and a red glow passed through Davina's arm.
Sophie laid Davina next to all the dead Harvest girls before starting the spell.
''After the Harvest comes to the reaping. Their sacrifices made and accepted, we call upon our elders to resurrect your chosen ones.''
They all waited for a sign that one of the girls was going to come back but there was nothing.
''We call upon our elders to resurrect your chosen ones'' Sophie said once again hoping for a change but got nothing. ''Resurrect your chosen ones. Please. I beg.''
When Sophie finally came to terms that none of the girls were going to get resurrected she sunk to her knees beside her niece and sobbed.
Marcel then sped away making Klaus follow after him.
*****
''This whole thing was doomed from the start, you know?'' Klaus said as he poured drinks for himself, Rebekah and Amaya.
''Yes, we save the city, and I'm not complaining about the witches losing their power, but this did not go down the way I thought it would. You surprised me thought.'' He looked at Rebekah. ''You were quite resourceful today. How did you find them down at the docks?''
''You're not the only one with clever little spies in the quarter, Nik.'' Rebekah looked over to Amaya and they both shared a smirk.
''Sometimes I don't think I give you your due, little sister.''
''I knew Elijah's plan was mad, but I tough it would work.'' Rebekah looked away sadly.
''So did I. I was sure Davina would survive,'' Klaus said making Maya shake her head. ''There was so much life in her.''
''I wasn't.''
''And why is that, Ria,'' Klaus said using one of the old nicknames he used to call her.
''New Orlean's ancestors are devious. Knowing them, they won't bring Davina back until they've had their fair share with her.'' Maya leaned back on the couch as she downed her scotch.
''What about the power.'' Rebekah leaned forward as realization finally struck Amaya.
''Four were supposed to rise, and none did,'' Maya said.
''Where did all that power go?'' Rebekah asked.
''What if they brought back four people who weren't a part of the Harvest.'' Amaya said as she tough about the possibilites of where the power could have gone.
''But that's impossible right?'' Rebekah nervously asked.
''Not if they were consecrated'' Klaus finally spoke up as he looked in a daze.

Is It Too Late To Move My Lair?
A legendary dragon... It has been told in the stories for hundreds of years. Some say it keeps a mountain of treasure in its cave, some say it is a vicious beast, some say it protects the village nearby, some claim it can grant their wishes, and some just think it's nothing more than a fairytale. He is not. The dragon is very real, although he isn't bothered by what people think of him in the slightest. He also doesn't have a grand treasure, nor does he grant wishes, like a magical genie. He is not interested in eating humans either. And as for protecting them… well. This is the story of the time before the legends, how they came to life and a dragon in the quest of his snooze. In a nutshell, this is a simple, light-hearted story with a dragon in it. What I have in mind is a relatively short one compared to most of the works on this site, but we'll see where it goes. This is my first attempt at writing something like this, so please be patient and kind in pointing out mistakes. As for the posting schedule... let's say it will be sporadic. Hope you enjoy reading, as much as I do while writing it… THE STORY IS NOT DROPPED, JUST SLOW ON THE UPDATES. Cover art by Nane, aka me. (Cross-posted on Scribble Hub.)

The Fall of The Gods
Synopsis: In the year 1966, an army of Orishas led by Sango stormed Amadioha’s palace and razed it the ground, starting a decades-long war between two of Nigeria’s most powerful divine orders. Blinded by the rage of battle, the gods did not detect the rise of a third power, far greater and deadlier than anything they could have imagined. When gods, on both the Yoruba and Igbo sides, begin falling mysteriously to their death, Sango seeks the help of Odion, a Lagos teenager destined to rise from his dark past to become a hero. But can a human hero save the gods from a doomed fate? The Fall of the Gods is an action-packed YA fantasy based on the mythical bond that ties human life with the realm of the divine. It demonstrates the power of stories to change our lives. It also reminds us that Sango and Amadioha are not relics of the past and that, sometimes, what it means to be a hero in today’s world is knowing how to find inspiration in the stories of the gods. PLEASE NOTE: Weekly chapters will be released every friday along with interludes once in a while about Nigerian mythology. I'm a young 17 year old writer and I am new to the site so I will appreciate your comments and reviews. Thank you very much.
