When the council wanted to take just Eliana I was so angry. How dare they try to take my mate without me! They can't take her from me. If they think that they could take her from me they are so wrong. I know they are not happy that I will be going with her but if they think I can leave her they have something coming for them. I will never leave my mate.

We were currently packing when Kyle came running into the room. He was out of breathe and looked scared. 

"We have a problem!" He yelled. 

"What's wrong? What happened?" I asked calmly. Eliana looked a little shaken.

"They know what is happening. They are here." He said.

"Who? Who is here?" I had a feeling but I wanted to be sure.

"Her parents. They know that we know about her being the next queen. They think that they can take her. They have their whole pack her ready for a fight." This made me angry. How dare they?!? They don't get to mistreat her and then just want her back now that everyone knows the truth. They can't take her!

"Take me to them!" I yelled. I heard a whimper behind me. Turning around I saw Eliana curled up in a corner. I ran over to her. "Hey, don't cry its going to be okay. I won't let them take you. I promise you. Do you want to come with us or do you want to stay here?" I had pulled her to my chest and she was currently crying into my shirt.

"I want to go. Knowing them they are up to something." She said. I have to agree with them being up to something.

"Okay, let's go." I said picking her up. When we got out of the house Kyle and I changed into our wolfs and Eliana got onto my back. Kyle leads the way to them. As we got closer I could defiantly smell the witch. When we got there we stopped a went behind trees to change back into our human forms. Then we went out and saw her parents with a lot of people behind them who I assume is their pack.

"Give us our daughter back!" Her mother yelled. Everyone behind them looked angry. I wonder what they told them to get them to come here and challenge me.

"No! Get off of my land!" I yelled back at them.

"Not until you give us back our daughter!" Her father yelled.

"Why should I give you your daughter back? So you can continue abusing her for not being your biological daughter. Or maybe because now everyone knows that she is a royal!" I shouted at them. Their faces grew pale and the people around them gasped. 

"Your lying! We never did anything to that brat!" Her mother yelled. How could she call Eliana a brat? She is anything but a brat. 

"How could you call your own daughter that? Oh, wait! I mean stepdaughter." Their faces grew red with anger I knew that Eliana's father was getting close to shifting. I also knew that the council wasn't far from us but they didn't know that.

"Why would you want the brat anyway? What is she giving you a little something? Is that why you want to keep her?" I growled at Her mother was getting on my nerves. She keeps nagging me on.

"No that is not why I want to keep her here! I want to keep her here because she is my mate!" I screamed at them. I heard gasps from all around us. No one in my pack really knew that I had met my mate so they were just as surprised.

"Your lying!" Her father yelled. "She is already set to mate someone else and that is not you!" I growled the loudest I have in my life. There is no way that I am going to let her mate with someone else other than me.

"No, she is not!" I shouted. He tried to come closer to us and I growled. "Dont you dare come any closer!" I warned.

"Or what you and your puny army will try to kill me? That's funny kid. You would never stand a chance!" He yelled but I could hear the fear in his voice.

"Sure. You can try but you won't succeed at it." I told him. He shifted into his wolf and I shifted into mine. He then came running up to me jumping on his back. I was able to twist around and bite his neck but not enough to kill him. I shoved him off me with my back paws and hurry to get back on my feet. He was on the ground whimpering. I shifted back into my human form standing above him. "You really thought you were going to beat me. You better think twice before doing that again." I said. 

"We will come back and the next time it will be war!" Eliana's mother yelled. 

"Go back to your pack witch." I said. She turned pale while there was an uproar among their pack. I guess none of them knew she was a witch. 

"How dare you accuse me of such a thing!" Her voice was shaking. She was getting nervous.

"You heard me I can smell the witch in you. I also know that you have been on my land ever since Eliana came here to mask her scent."

"Come on let's go!" She yelled grabbing her husband and starting to lead the way home. Once they were finally out of sight I turned to Eliana who was crying.

"Hey, it's okay. I will make everything alright. We are going to be leaving in a few days and then we will probably never see them again. Everything will work its self out." I told her. I kissed her forehead and then pulled her into a hug.

"I know but that doesn't help with the worry. I'm afraid something is going to happen. I have a feeling that something will happen and I don't want anyone to get hurt because of me." She said through the tears. 

"We will deal with that when it comes. Right now we need to get home and get cleaned up." I told her pulling away from the hug. 

"Okay. Is there a way to go back to the treehouse tonight?" She asked.

"Sure. Do you want it to be just us?" I asked her because there was enough room for a few other people.

"Yes, I want to be alone with you for a while." She replied. I wanted to be alone with her too.

"Okay, we will go home get showers and then we will go back to the treehouse for the night."

"That sounds like a really nice idea. Maybe we could get some food before we go." 

"How about we stop at a restaurant on our way?" I asked.

"That sounds like a great idea. Maybe we could go to your aunt's restaurant again?" She asked.

"I was thinking the same thing. Come on let's go home." I said starting to lead the way back home.
